I think this is the weakest point of the story/script, along with FL justification for cheating in first life and main reason why people's temper flare regarding ML treatment in the story.
Historical stories and this genra is supposed to be based on real life with believable elements, I know you have to take liberties in order to move the plot but there is a difference between, taking a liberty and crossing every limit to get into the realm of "pure arrogance and disrespect".
If it was Xianxia or some other fantasy world like "Stars wars" I don't care if FL was carrying out "intragalactic orgy" with drak force users but this is supposed to be ancient china.
As a "Man" its hard to watch and swallow, I hope something good drops in k-drama, c-drama and Hollywood. So we have something else to watch !

I don't remember the exact episode but this scene was after their marriage celebration/drinking with relative's scene. After that point, I kinda knew he also a time traveller and ML made that observation, but FL was just being romantic with SML cuz one scene before it showed her expecting SML to pick him up. So, she wanted SML to pick her up but at this point....nobody cares romance !
I am more interested in how he got there in the first place, leads died but how did he died?
Did his rebellion failed and Qin Zhen Zhen son (Emperors actual son) brought back troops from the border and deposed crown prince (Shanguan Ya child from infidelity with su elder)?
