If a normal person on the street ends up falling into pit full of spikes and gets hurt cuz of it, I will feel bad for the guy cuz he has to endure that pain.....but if the same guy walks the same path again, knowing very well there is a pit full of spikes and hurt it will cause....falls into the same pit again and feels the encrusting pain. Its his freaking fault and his alone, you can't blame the spikes (FL) for being point cuz the revealed their true nature, its the person (ML) that lacks the self-control and decided to walk towards the sun. I know y'all will pull it "LOVEEEEEE" B.S but its a conscious decision he had, knowing very well the results may not be in his favour. He had his answer in the ep 8, FL rudely denied his confession, but he went to apologize for her mistakes like a fucking SIMP and now is suffering from consequences. As FL, everybody times comes and Universe/GOD gives everybody a chance/opportunity, but only a few people man up and decide to avail it. She had her chance in the form of ML and the amount of hurt and suffering, she will endure after this will be "her fault and her fault alone".

I don't think any Xianxia is going on right no but "Legend of ShenLi" recently concluded and it was pretty good, you can check it out if you have not watched it. Majority of on-going dramas are kind-off modern "duds", nothing extraordinary but you can check out "Men in Love" and "Will Love in Spring". The "Will Love in Spring" recently finished airing and it was pretty good with realistic story, relationship problems and no idiotic stunts by any lead but if you are looking for anything historical, then I have to disappoint you cuz there is literally nothing airing right now. Last good historical was "Blossom in adversity" by Jing Yi !
"Know it all" killer is from Shen family and their escort agency cuz both victims whereabouts at their time of death were only known to the shen family. Prince Yi is another suspicious character but how did he get the information about ML meeting with Shen Zi for "Know it all" is beyond me ! The most suspicious character right now is "SML" !

I know you are looking it from emotional and feelings angle but in this life, I have learned valuable lesson of looking at "What people do/have done or their actions", rather than emotional chatter, big talks or what they have claim to done. I personally believe if possible, situation/person should be looked at from neutral point of view without hinderance of emotions and I learned this valuable lesson, thanks to my large South Asian family. Who like typical cdrama villains is large and love to meddle in relatives' affairs.

Which she did and father recovered ! That's why ML was also forcing FL to give up on his parents death....cuz he wanted her to act like his sister and forget everything. Now "between the person who was willing to kill her" and "the one who take her own life to make sure she survives", FL only owe anything to Shen Da Qing and father differential treatment of siblings tell me, SML may not be fathers real child !

That being said, FL behaviour isn't helping the situation either. He has gotten bit overboard with his unrealistic demands and FL should have caught on to his intention by now. Its very clear from her behaviour that she doesn't see him in boyfriend light at all and lowkey hates him for his attempts to force her to live her life according to his wishes and forget about massacre of her family. but he is using, I saved your life logic....which infact he didn't and was quiet ready to murder her, it was the original "Shen Da Qing" who save her life and she owes SML nothing. FL has her dues by pretending to be his sister....and saved her father.

He isn't a fair/good person to begin with judging from the fact, he was ready to murder injured FL for his sister and original "Shen Da Qing" immediate suicide shows, her poisoning wasn't that simple and SML was also wired with her. Directors will run some sort of adoption scheme to justify his behaviour.
