She is undeniably attractive/fine woman and Yes I don't like her acting (its Okay in this one) but nobody can speak against her physical attributes.
First of all, yall need to understand the concept of "Freedom of speech" and people have right to use their mouth to say things, they don't like. Everybody has their personal preference, I for instance like Petite brunette with attractive face, so its right down my ally but if it was the other way around. I will speak against overly obese people cuz its a MEDICAL DISEASE.

FL family death may have been justified with same monster phenomena in official report, so I can understand why other party hell is bent on keeping it secret. I suspect FL lack of boundaries with SML is going to create huge problems for leads relationship down the line.
ML is magistrate and SML owner of local mafia group, I don't know what FL is thinking but its ML mission to get rid of these clans and SML clan is among the biggest problem makers. Like her friend mentioned, Silver conglomerate was extracting protection money from local vendors and the shops and as law man. Its ML responsibility as a magistrate to deal with gangster like them.....so I hope FL uses her witty brain now and draw a clear line with him about the criminal stuff and made it clear to him. On the flip side, I can see she is not interested in him at all but he has made his intentions clear.
I suspect SML will do something stupid like "abducting FL" to force marry her or use her as leverage against ML.

Its not that JJY acting is very bad but ML is criminally underrated and he is my favourite villain....Now I am not taking shots at anybody but there are actors in Cdrama industry, who don't even have 10% of his acting prowess but are very popular.
We want him to work with "best of the best" and I don't hate FL but this drama had the potential to completely change her image, she was pretty good as evil character in the beginning but now it has dumbed down.
in simple words, I consider it missed opportunity on JJY part cuz scripts like this don't come easy and ML like Jeremy Tusai is underrated gem.

Not Just jealousy but she has the designs for the throne....I mean Ripple sect is simply a front of corrupt officials (Fl father was investigating court officials, that led him to sect) to launder money to fund the rebellion to put Princess on the throne. Attempt on FL life was to tie the lose ends and make sure nobody knows, what happened to her family and why !
The Princess shown in first ep was overly pious and holding painting competitions for scholars and she will have very good reputation and flawless character in public and in my experience, people like her are prime suspects.

I don't think villain has been revealed cuz FL father was investigating the corrupt officials and that got him killed. So the whole story will tie back-up to the imperial court and family, leads will return to capital and there would be some sort of "Rebellion funding" going on in the Heiyan to support some royal family member claim to the throne.
going by overly pious logic, I think its the "Princess" who is the real villain and had ML wife killed out of the jealousy.

FL made the decision for ML after eavesdropping on their maids/guard fight, she decided that its best for him to not tell him at all about the swap, ML suffering will continue cuz her maid made the excuse FL learned medicine and acts like YCW to gain his attention.
This is the main premise of story and I believe they are going to drag it to ep 20, which is better for FL cuz rebellious faction is on the lose and they are willing to resort to anything to tie up the lose ends.

Zhou Ye is a phenomenal actress but better days was nominated cuz of Zhou Dong Yu and I am not saying, she didn't played a part in it but Dong Yu did the heavy lifting.
I am her big fan (Zhou ye)....trust me we are on same side and I believe she will wipe the floor with all these actress in the future, same goes for the Zhang Jingyi.

People are not blind and you can't glorify trash, what's bad is bad....no amount of simping is going to change that. No self-respecting reviewer has ever said, her acting was extra-ordinary in any of her dramas.
Zhou Dongyu didn't major in acting either, but she has given some great performances and Bai Lu also auditioned for idol role and have no acting background but look at her. Stop making excuses for people and recently I have observed that, divineness has transcended on people here and they retort like someone has desecrated the sanctity of their divine saint.
I have called her acting lack-Luster not utterly useless or bad and just cuz you have poor taste and standards doesn't mean everybody is going to put up with it.
