I have not watched Lost your Forever, so I can't comment about it but I herd it has a sad ending and people on IDMB are known to go after shows like this.

I am not trying to start anything here but IDMB is well-known around the world for their reliability and everybody uses and quotes them for a reason. There are a lot of famous/well respected editors and reviewers who use that site to give detail breakdown of their reviews.

About the haters and fans balance, TLI was a decent drama but not something extra-ordinary or unique to blow people minds. It didn't had the best CGI, mind boggling story, stellar cast (lacking in ML department...Allen Ren would had nailed the role), best screen play, direction and acting. As for final ratings, I think it will go down again and stabilize at 8.1-8.0 cuz fans have move on and the positive push will dissipate leading to new watchers...ratings it as its.

Bai Lu majored in tourism (didn't received any formal training in acting) and you are the only one, who is claiming that she trained to be idol here. Secondly SOKP is "Story of the Kunning palace" and I am not blind, Hidden Love is nothing as compared to TOTEM or SOKP in every category.....say story, acting, chemistry, direction, uniqueness or anything.
It was same old shit and Bai Lu won numerous awards for her acting prowess, while LuSi is nothing more than a traffic actress at best and directors in Main-land are not blind or stupid. There is a reason certain people are always getting better and unique script, while other get bad ones.
Take TOTEM for instance, it was Luo Yun Xi own production but of all the people, he selected Bai Lu....not Lusi or even YM in that instance.

I am Gen-Z and I will accept majority of my brethrens have not seen actual good cinema and lack the mental capacity to make sound decisions....but I don't blame them, our generation is the one dealing with most mental stress and other problems.
We have enough chaos, sadness, disappointment, depression due to lack of jobs and useless Degree's and other suicidal tendencies, that we don't want another one in the form of serious Tv drama's. All these modern brain-dead and commercial drama's are famous now cuz it helps people escape their own life reality.
Your generation had hope, opportunities and future to look forward too, but we have nothing but darkness, even being a biological MAN/WOMAN is a crime now and you have to one of those fancy genders to land a good job.

I also love the kunning palace but remember the MDL rule, after 8 every point is worth 2 points and after 8.5, its worth four points. This one is not even worse, we have G0-Ahead, Kunning palace and other masterpieces at 9 rating and then we have "Hidden Love" at 9.1.
So, to keep it short "people are idiots" and fans will make anything famous. I mean the story, the acting, emotional range, different characters and alot of other things, Go-Ahead is eons above Hidden Love but when is helmed by Lusi and other one but far better but not well known actress Tan SongYun....so here we are.

I personally think it was never fault to begin with, she was at the bottom of the barrel or the food chain in C-Drama actress hierarchy. So, almost every role she has stared in, usually go to big names like Bai Lu and Lusi first but after rejection by 6 actress.
Finally it comes to her and she used to have no work, so she usually does anything (her life story) that comes her way. The trash performances like Chong Zi were the writers fault but unfortunately due to her rather apologetic behaviour, she gave trolls the reason to destroy her.
I am not saying, she is amazing actress but everybody needs a chance in life to prove their worth and a good director can shape anybody into "Super-Star". She is working with great actress (Elaine Zhong) in this one, so I hope she learns somethings from her.

The last thing anybody needs right now is the confirmation of the Lisa words by her new intern.....I heard someone people have read the novel, you guys can spoil me I don't care !

Yep its boring as compared to masterpieces "All of Her" that are airing alongside it.

I knew girl has potential and it was just the matter of picking the right script, her life is full of "one tribulation after another" and she made it this far.
