Wait according to my understanding FL told her friend very clearly, that she didn't dumped him cuz she thought less of him. The real reason behind their breakup was FL (she was planning to settle down with him) trash grandfather forcing her with to inherit his so called "Legacy" and she accepts it cuz he called her mother disappointment for choosing love over career....and still judges her father to this day, hence FL hates that guy. The second and most important reason was ML got admission in foreign country and he was getting two minded about leaving her in china.....so she broke up with him cuz in her mind, their relationship was like a shackle holding him back from soaring high in society. She sacrificed her love, lied to him for his own good.....that's what really happened and I think it was second episode in which, she told their mutual friend SML and forced him to promise to her......he will never tell ML the real reason for breakup.
