After a long hiatus, I finally decided to watch a C-drama again and came to the comment section to gather some info, and lo and behold, people are attacking MAN-CHILD (he should be in mental asylum, no cap there is something wrong up there) because he abandoned his beautiful wife, whom he is legitimately afraid of (like dude has PTSD) because 99% of domestic abuse in the household is initiated by her. I have just watched one episode, and YES, ML are jerks, but there is a difference between "being a jerk" and straight-up CRIMES; the third sister SCAM and the second sister DOMESTIC VIOLENCE are crimes. I haven't seen the latest episodes, and ML probably made some misogynist remarks, but are you guys really going to ignore "Scam and Domestic Violence"? I know reasoning and common sense don't exist on this site, and even men's lives aren't considered worth anything here, but supporting "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE"—C'MON" , guys, don't go overboard. I don't know why they can't just divorce like normal people and be done with it. MAN-CHILD likes to sleep around, and the second sister likes to abuse her husband; both are deal breakers, and nothing good will ever come out of this relationship....but I will still maintain. Although cheating is bad (which it isn't considering the era), ML has the right to decide what he wants (albeit being an arsehole), but what the second sister is doing here is a CRIME!

These are names that came to my mind, I wasn't comparing the two but these delulu fans really need to take a chill pill. It's okay if people don't like something, everybody's taste is different and this wasn't some legendary drama with top notch story and direction either. I bet the original story/novel is from 2011-14 era...that was the time when stories like this with glaring plot holes and general lack of common sense were popular. Nowadays people are privacy conscious and almost everybody knows phones have remote desktop control, bugs and tracking capability....but FL apparently didn't knew this, furthermore it's any phone using network or internet can be tracked in 3-4 minutes. She was using cellular network to call him and let's assume she had encryption but agencies can easily "Triangle your position" by comparing data from mobile towers from which phone is receiving signals in 1 minute.....but unfortunately it took ML with top notch agencies under him weeks. Furthermore ML somehow managed to hide his marriage with FL from everybody, so you mean he was president spokesperson and extremely sensitive job and he falsefied the records and lied to intelligence agencies.....not to mention it's near impossible cuz when you marry someone they update your data in national database and your identity card has your spouse name it. There is no way both leads would have managed to hide their marriage and these are the few examples...I am stating here !

Although "naysayers" are blaming "Freedom of expression" used by other people to voice their opinion regarding few minutes of ep 12 but let's be real here, first signs of trouble appeared in ep6 and by ep 8 things were looking bad. The buildup, chemistry and sexual tension between the leads can sustain a drama for its first half but ultimately, it's the story that keeps the audience engaged in the latter half and pique their interest before finale. Nobody would have any complains if they removed the bloat from ep 5 onwards and end this drama in 8-10 episodes without the "Argoan storyline" and then made part 2, which properly covered that phase and gave us satisfactory ending. I think its one of those dramas, which nobody will remember in the future cuz it lacks the rewatchable potential like "My Mister, My liberation notes and Its Okay to be not Okay".

I wish I had time to enjoy all the currently airing shows, I had a lot of free time in 2024 but they didn't release anything good. Now I am busy with forest fire raging around me and they decided to drop Bai Lu, Yang Zi and Tian Xi Wei dramas.

Whenever they come across problem like current issue, they use the script and contact the author before making corrections. The production house gets the share of the profits from international audience, hence everything goes from them before release and they reserve the right to protect the authenticity of their content. Which means Netflix can't make any major changes in the shows before release. So don't give me this bias, MBC greenlight this before release. Furthermore, Netflix has thousand of shows available on their site and in 2024 only Korean shows have problems like this. Even Chinese propaganda dramas are clear as day and nobody has problem with them. Just like I have mentioned in my earlier comment, Yes Netflix fuxked up but they aren't the one who will smear and their name will be smeared. They have years of credibility and thousands of shows from every corner of the world to prove their credibility, it's K-drama in question and the production house and artist in questions that will suffer. It's small number of people either, you have billions of emotionally charged people there. One picture of Netflix subs and original Korean translation from MBC would have made the whole situation clear.
