I will like to reaffirm I am not from SK and definitely don't support president (he deserves jail time for it), but political circus like this has ruined my home country. Shit started when greedy parliamentary members misused "vote of no confidence" to force out democratically elected president (by bribing Ruiling party members), after that shit went downhill cuz they tried to align their pockets. Then they jailed the old PM (popular with people), assassination attempts (fast forward 2 years) and finally military opened fire on peaceful protestors (killing people) in order to scatter them. People went back and are now people are buying hunting rifles and other make shit weapons to carry out their next protest/march on capital and you know what will happen next.

No he belonged to Empress/Father/brother/traitor crown prince party, and you may be wondering if already was crown prince why kill ML uncle. Then simple answer if pirates work for/ or pay court minister and ML uncle cur their source of income by destroying pirate bases and opening up new trade routes.
Now all illegal trade has to pass checkpoints, and they have to pay taxes, which gov will be able to trace and their illegal business will be caught.

Yes if president voluntarily resigns, then Prime Minister will automatically assume its position and become new president. Then PPP will carry out their internal voting to decide, who next prime minister will be (cuz hate it or like it old President and PM came by winning the election and have people mandate to back them).
After that opposition will have any power to impeach new PM but it's not that easy cuz you need valid reason to carry out/trigger impeachment protocol/vote of no confidence. Now you are thinking if it's that easy, why opposition is trying to impeach him. The simple answer is "Greed", president own party leader openly spoke against him and criticized him for martial law. Everybody knows PPP can force president to resign by dissolving his cabinet (if enough Ministers resign it will trigger automatic dissolution).
So, president resigns in either case, but opposition is trying to impeach him cuz after that they will have say in who becomes next president. They are trying to use people anger to prop up their own guy, which just like President declaration of martial law is another crime. Just like I mentioned above in either case president and his PPP party won general election by popular/people vote (they were elected) and opposition although right in standing against martial law is trying to "STEAL PEOPLE MANDATE" and by-pass the whole democratic process by forcing their own guy or create enough disturbance in country to trigger new election before end of PPP term.
SK president was asshole and got what he deserved but now country need to peace not long term political rife, so instead of standing for democracy that Li guy is warmongering to meet his goals.

I suspect he is ML uncle bastard children and that's why he joined his crusade.

Yep, and I don't like the fact drama is focusing bit too much on relationship between "FL and her two besties" and "ML and his brother". This is c-drama in 2024 (year of backstabbing) so I am 90% sure brother and one of the besties will be above mentioned snakes.

Yeah 2024 was wild and shit like TPR (The Princess Royal) was unleashed on men.

Apart from JOY-2 and Love of Nivarna none were worth watching and all the big budget historical dramas were female oriented. Please don't get me wrong I am not against woman empowerment, but this storyline is overused, and they are rehashing the shit and using it again and again.
You do realize all these "Male oriented dramas" you have mentioned have zero kisses and bad-no romance, it's kinda wired to recommend these dramas to man. Majority of them are over glorified thirst traps, designed to appease female audience. Take Flower boys (Dashing Youth) and ZLH dramas this year for instance, the comment section was wild and majority female audience was saying some insane shit.
