She didn't report wrong evidence, and I commend her for having absolute trust in her husband (even if the investigate they won't find a single problem with him). That being said, what she did is report a truthful connection to Empress dowager, so if Mo guy does something stupid in the future or people frame him for a fake crime. Her reported closeness of ML with Mo guy will be used against ML to jail and derail his career, that's why I am 50/50 about it, she didn't comprehend the border picture and evil that PM/King faction is capable off. but that being said, I want it to be known in court and law, there was no malicious intent behind her reporting. She whole-heartedly loves ML and believes he will never do anything against the state. She is sure nothing will ever be found so they can investigate him all they want and hence that's why she told Empress Dowager straight up. As suspected, they are indeed very close!
There was love pentagon in the start and FL has grey morality, but she kept chiselling out other male leads and now we are left with Anpu guy meddling in leads business, but FL defended ML. I think she hinted at guy to F off, you can watch it but its atypical cliche ridden drama !

Yes, you are right these characters were indeed "worst of the worst". The funny thing I have realised majority of male c-drama watchers (including me) are suffering from condition known as "Princess Royal Syndrome", that shit gave people PTSD and due to it. The moment they see's similar behaviour in any other drama, they immediately lash out at the character, and this has turned comment sections into warzones. So, judging by your words its highly unlikely any Song Zu Er drama is going to release this year and we have to deal with low quality stuff until holiday seasons comes around and they release stuff in "New Year Window".

The King faction helmed by PM will make his life miserable but, I am looking forward to seeing. How these four (Princess Yogan, King, Empress Dowager and Lai Luo) factions are connected to "Moth", Embroidery and Shen family case. Although everybody is pushing their own agendas and played a part in these crimes, but it would be interesting to see, who the main villain would is. My money is on King faction and his fake piety ! I hope FL will keep the momentum going and becomes a better version of herself.

It's good with some episodes of high angst but overall solid watch, there are some very grey characters with problematic morality. I think you would like it but FL ability to form boundaries with multiple ML's in this one is bad than MOGA.....give it a go !

Its a 7.5+ drama (I am harsh critic) so don't get your hopes high but overall, a solid watch.
