Bro at-least in MOGD, FL haven't defended ML killer and her abductor two times but the problem with this one. People were here for a romantic drama but FL at this point have more romantic scenes with SML (wearing all white and acting lovey dovey) and spent more time with him than ML.
The OST's and all other stuff isn't helping the leads chemistry either and you have consider, this rating came immediately after the angst and ML stabbing. So, its understandable people were down rating it. It will shoot up to 8+ in next week if they maintained the current plot line but I highly doubt it. This drama is suffering from "TPR syndrome" in which, during long novel adaptation the writers removed entire chapters of Leads romance and daily life scenes, but kept and glorified/improved SML romance scenes. Which has completely imbalanced the angst and left bad taste in people mouth.
After the whole SML two failed assassination attempts at ML life, abducting her to force ML into a corner, FL shouldn't have went on to have night dates with SML and then used her life to threaten ML to not hurt him second time without even listening to him.

I have watched episodes with bad subs and empress dowager sent them to investigate ML old saviour and awarded FL another title, and gave her separate imperial decree to investigate whether ML has anything to do with Mo guy rebellion and did ML helped him.
Then in preview we saw FL sending a pigeon letter to someone and drama goes back to her teacher, telling her to follow the law.

I am not one of those virgins incels out here, who believe kissing and sex is the only expression of woman love. Sex is one of the important part of it but woman express love through intimacy, taking care of your needs, worrying for you, you may be chill but she will be angry cuz someone else said something bad about you or created problems for you, even in presence of clear division of labour taking charge to cook and clean for you, taking steps to improve your life and other stuff like this.
Their love is like a whole package and FL exhibit some part of this and hence I know she loves him deeply, so its highly unlikely she would even date other people after their upcoming divorce and she will stay loyal to ML....but she needs to understand to not trust people easily and draw boundaries with her friends with bad intentions.
Like her female friend, who has not told her about having dealings with ML enemy and Anpu guy, who is trying to break them apart.

I never said, she deliberately went there to cheat on ML. The point I was trying to make here was, that her enabling behaviour of previous (discussing new partners in ML presence) behaviour embolden her FL friend and she planned the date thing....and like I said in my original comment. FL is not a child she could have said "Absolutely No" I am a married woman; I will not follow your arrangement and go on date with TML and told her off to mind her own business cuz its VERY BIG LINE, she crossed there "cheating is deal breaker for 90% of humans in relationship".

This would have mattered if they were in "getting to know each other phase" of their relationship, not in committed relationship, let alone MARRIED to each other. ML also doesn't know FL loves him deeply, but he still respects the "sanctity of marriage" and don't do this shit and his remember his guard was very hostile to FL in early episodes but he told him off and now entire Shen Mansion respects FL cuz ML respects her in the house.

I am more concerned about what she had sent to Empress through the pigeon letter, and last thing I want is that "lass" is to jump the gun and send incriminating evidence to Empress dowager about ML without even properly investigating the whole thing. My man will be jailed, and all of his hard-earned respect will be lost, even she latter finds evidence down the line to get him out of the jail. What's done is done, so I really hope ML wakes up at this point!

You are like a "LENS/WINDOW" to his life for them through which your "Friends and family" will see and learn about your partner.
So, if you talk bad, complain too much and treat him with disrespect in front of your family members, they will not respect him and do 1o times worse to him. They will only respect your significant other, if you respect him and stand up for him when someone's says anything stupid about him.
The problem with FL character is her complete & utter lack of respect for ML and ENTITLEMENT attitude. She first disrespected ML in front of her colleagues by demanding divorce, immediately after saving her life (note everybody knew how hard he worked to save her life) and her friend noted this behaviour. After that her female eavesdropped on their private matter and she considerd her previous lack of respect for ML, proceeded to run her mouth around about a VERY PERSONAL matter of their marriage. FL again didn't stand up for him and told her to stop and backdown, then she started talking about selecting men after their divorce and FL (on basis of complete lack of respect for ML) chimed and started discussing out pros and cons of each man with her. (Blood on ML wound he got during saving her life wasn't even clotted properly, when she was having these discussions about leaving him).

The point, I am trying to make here is, her friend and SML disrespect ML cuz FL enables/support their behaviour and allows them to do so. She never respected him in front of them and judging from her behaviour, they treat him appropriately, knowing very well he has saved her life countless times. She isn't a bad person per say (infact very kind and loves ML) but she isn't a right person or ready for relationship. We know she loves ML deeply, cares about him and may even become inspector in first place cuz she promised him to reverse shen family case in childhood.
Guys, the FUNDAMENTAL/PRIMARY thing relationships are based on is TRUST, RESPECT and LOYALTY, divorce now a days is available on snap of finger...if people can't trust each other their relationship will never work. I actually like FL character a lot due to her investigating stuff but.....the real problem, they are MARRIED and SHE is someone's wife doing all that stuff. I wouldn't give a shit if she was dating him but being married mean, you are legally bound.
