That's what I think too & I think most people are aware if it.We just want to see the love Hwal & Sang Un both…
What I see is some already fixate on "I don't like the main leads romance!" since early on & never give them a chance at all because they already love the SFL.
Whether any ship will sail or not never matters since I think both ship are doomed eitherway, but the sentiment on hating the main leads romance or mocking FL to shed light on SFL is strong, which I don't mind if ppl already give the main FL a chance & it's just people's preference, but what I get is some already love the 2nd FL too much given her history with Hwal is given prior than the FL, so they already closed their heart from the beginning & no matter what the FL do or what the drama are trying to tell to viewers, it'd be wrong to their eyes.
This is just my view from reading the comments here tho & not necessarily apply to everyone, don't mind me if it doesn't apply to you.
In regards to this series and romance I honestly think that no matter what happens.. It will not end on a happy…
That's what I think too & I think most people are aware if it. We just want to see the love Hwal & Sang Un both deserves, before parting. Highlikely one of them may ended up die & their conversation on ep 8 might be a foreshadowing. Either Hwal Died for Sang Un to see her lil sister's baby born or Sang Un sacrificed herself for Shi Ho and Hwal. Tho ngl I hope for another outcome too.
That's why idg why people so fixated on hating the romance & closed their heart for it even since early on when it could be just a doom/ sinking ship foretelling a beautiful/ bittersweet familial love & soulmate we don't get often to see
I donโt know ... I kinda liked the FL in โfalling into your smileโ because she ought to be quite innocent…
Yeah, this is my first drama with her and I find her facial expression is pretty much like a stone/ cardboard. What's odd to me is, am not sure if it's due to acting problem or it's directing problem instead, since actually I find the FL can emote (well too?) when needed/ in angsty situation, but in general situation her facial expression is practically the same most of the time so it's hard to get immersed in the story & I def need to powerthrough to complete the series (currently at 20th). I sincerely hope it gets better.
Oh Wow! I'm a big fan of Inuyasha (complete watching all ova, movie & manga), never thought of it, but I think…
Ahh RIGHT!! If Sang Un is Kagome in a way & female Bulgasal is Kikyo, that's making so much sense, why didn't I think of that, lol am so excited rn, tysm for posting this!๐โค
I read somewhere this has Inuyasha-Kikyo-Naraku storyline vibes from Inuyasha (anime) and it is making so much…
Oh Wow! I'm a big fan of Inuyasha (complete watching all ova, movie & manga), never thought of it, but I think it's interesting to see it in a different light ๐
So Inuyasha = Hwal Kikyo = Sang Un Naraku = Eul Tae Kagome = Shi ho? (I don't think she is tho, as there's zero similiarity in her character's background)
(The possible similiarity?) to me is maybe at how Naraku played Kikyo & Inuyasha (who both in love) to turned against & killed eachother, but in Inuyasha Naraku is actually obsessed with Kikyo hence he transformed from human to youkai (evil creature) to own her.
You're joking right? I highly doubt your 6 year oldself will do any better once you're on Sang Un's position,…
Oh her acting is ok to me, but now I get your point, lol I thought you're refering to her character's behaviour & I'm scratching head if Sang Un wasn't supposed to cry after all she's been through ๐, got it then ๐
I think the prophecy is about the Sahaman. She also has lost her memory and does not remember anything before…
Great observation, I agree, it might be him, tho am dreaded to know what kind of past life he has yet doesn't remember, will there be more misery in store for him, like his life isn't already hard enough ๐
When she starts crying I start ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃGirl, my dramatic 6 year old self can do better. I wish Gong Seung…
You're joking right? I highly doubt your 6 year oldself will do any better once you're on Sang Un's position, mother and sister brutally killed, become a sole protector of your own little sister in your minor year, with numerous evil people trying to kill you ๐ Normal ppl would barely even survive or live, let alone survive without even crying, lmao
Even for a joke no way I'd ever want to imagine/ be in Sang Un's position, it's a nightmare even just to think of โ ๐ชฆ
Tbh, imo there's alot of main leads shipper too, you can see from the number of likes as well, it's just HwalSol…
They can be married not necessarily being in love, out of fondness maybe, they grew together & Hwal's adoptive father care bring them together. They may grew apart due to the curse & those bitterness might left them nothing but obligation/ responsibility.
Tho at this rate anything can happen, depends on the writer's intention, she can reveal more depth on Sang Un-Hwal's back story, or left them platonic and brought Hwal's back to Shi Ho with Sang Un at his care? Or one of them might passed away (if Hwal&Sang Un's conversation on ep 8 is a foreshadowing), I guess we'll see.
So far from what I see Hwal have chemistry with both FL, tho given latest development, ngl I'm leaning towards Sang Un more as she's shown more attentive to him & they share oozing chemistry too.
As for their 2nd child, I wouldn't think too much since even a couple with cold marriage can have another child too, esp in those era ๐คญ
Tbh, imo there's alot of main leads shipper too, you can see from the number of likes as well, it's just HwalSol…
Tbh, there'll be no ship war if each people are sensible enough with their post, honestly, it's sounded like curious case of which one's first egg or chicken to me ๐ Yup am here for their amazing plot & characters as well ๐
Tbh, imo there's alot of main leads shipper too, you can see from the number of likes as well, it's just HwalSol…
It's only your opinion tho, what you think forced, others may not think so, vice versa, What you think as Hwalsol dominating is also your opinion which I counter from my pov doesn't seem like so.
Am also just pointing out that it's what I get from reading the comments here. But again, this is only my opinion.
Idk but I find this drama is just wholesome, for once I find a well thought/ written fantasy drama, there's a lot to discuss, the plot is rich & characters are layered so I don't see the need to pick ship as I love them all. Am rooting for them all, tho idk if it's possible before this drama.
Writer or whole Bulgasal team, didn't have the idea, audience will be loving 2 leads more than main leads along…
Tbh, imo there's alot of main leads shipper too, you can see from the number of likes as well, it's just HwalSol shipper is more vocal, maybe from insecurities/ worry on how the romance between main leads will play out/ getting stronger so what I see mostly is Sang Un's or Hwal's character being nitpicked on every lil' flaw of theirs ๐
I love them all, idk why do we need to pick favs/ ship. I'm just enjoying this drama so much rn & wish I can binge all the ep.
I have to disagree, Jin Wook is perfect for this role. His character ought to be like that, he is tired of living.…
"I like it when you struggle"....it should have been his joy out of her sorrow.
It's your perception but I don't think you actually understand Hwal's character though?, he may say that "he's happy" outloud but he is not, he feels terrible inside too as unconsciously he can see Sang Un in the present life is not a bad person. If he's acting happy, he'll be out of character. His character is supposed to be like that, died inside (you can see it in his eyes, no sparks of living), tired of living, a complex character throughout.
Oh yes, am really enjoying this drama rn, loving every bits of it & the biggest 2021 discovery for me.
I hope they donโt put too much romance in this since I kinda get an awkward feeling watching the latest episode....
I actually wish they'll put them more since I love to see how Sang Un is genuinely care/ attentive to Hwal. Seeing how finally someone is genuinely care & wait/ look for him despite knowing his identity as a bulgasal (or a cursed one) just warmed my heart, unlike most others who holds bad prejudice against him, she can see him through.
Yes! That's basically the reason why am rooting for Hwal & Sang Un's as well, his realization how he's been treating…
Yup, but we also need to see from his pov, Doyoon & Prophecy lady can easily see it because they're not the one who suffered to hv their family brutally killed by her & they didn't bear the consequence of living in agony for 600years. His realisation will surely come (I'm waiting for it) & I have my believe on Hwal will do the right thing, he is a good person with soft heart nonetheless, just like the prophecy lady said :))
