Why every Cheng Yi drama must be so fucking sad?(I'll mark this as spoiler just to be sure.)
Ahaha, yes, from watching his drama my heart has been shattered, repatched and then shattered again, rinse & repeat. But it's always a pleasure for me to follow his drama & feel all those heartbreaks, as seeing his terrific acting in these sad scenes are damn addictive :")
Ikr 😭 the storm come so soon, I thought we'd see some rainbow before it happens 😢 I see no light at the end of the tunnel, how they'd overcome this when everyone is on the tight spot 🙉

Totally feel you, I also watched the entire thing in 3.5 days 🤧 (& still rewatching it at times). The angst is indeed heartbreaking & the lead's acting is really2 good making it even more heartbreaking. And Si Feng is ❤❤❤

I watch this drama right after watching LAR (I just started watching LAR less than a month ago) & that's my initial thought too, but turns out it's nothing like that to me when I watch it, since the characterization & setup are totally different, so I see them as a total different character & fully enjoy the drama as very well rooting for the OTP here tho I'm a big fan of the OTP on LAR. The similiar casts they hv from LAR only bring a delightful experience to me to see familiar faces but you can see how different the characters they played 😄
I still don't believe the 3rd person is Cheng Xi and her brother 🤔 i think they only chess players. But tomorrow…

Can't wait for next ep!! This drama always know how to keep their suspense, am anxious & holding my breath throughout the ep. Qi Yan, Ruo Yu, Yan Zhi, I adore all of them! The plot & characters are all complex & so well written, completed with amazing sisters bonding & heartwrenching romance ❤❤❤

Qi Yan is injured badly & QLZ forced Qi Yan to pass the throne to Qi Rong just like what he did to the late Emperor.
Everyone who support Qi Yan are in the tight spot as QLZ monitored them closely/ home prisoned/placed a spy on them.
