Just dropping by to say that am still having my withdrawal from this drama, down to Si Feng rabbit hole, watching all L&R bts & all crumbs that's left.. can't move on from Cheng Yi/ Si Feng, so I just bump my ratings to 9.5, I know it isn't perfect, but the main couple in this is seriously the best, the angst, the love they shared, chemistry & acting is 10/10.
Btw, you need to see their making out scenes here if you haven't, it's unfortunately hv been edited out from the drama due to how intimate it was. It's damn beautiful & emotional, one of the best especially knowing their journey & what they had to go through before they're able to reach that point.

Exactly my feelings 🥴 This drama is running high on Yo han shoulder, all other characters hv their own moment to get on my nerves 😂 I don't see the point of SH character rather than being nosy & irritating, dumb but think high of herself. GO attempt in lecturing YH & defending SH is pretty laughable too actually, SH can protect Elijah? big LOL

I'd say he's rather a hypocrite single minded person with bad prejudice towards people below him. I liked him before ep 20 but afterwards I despise him 😂
Binge watched the whole thing in 3.5 days. Hands down the most devoted ML I've seen, ML character is a gem, calm yet sturdy like a strong pillar whom you can always depend. His love is so selfless, probably the most pure, sincere love I've seen. With that alone, the drama itself is worth the watch. He is too precious. The main couple had a great chemistry & great acting, you can see their love, happiness, pain & hardship through their eyes thus you can feel what they feel immensely. Both, the ML & the FL character here are strong & hv their own moment to shine. My fav ep however, will be ep 15 & 52, a happy Si Feng is a happy me 😭.
In terms of plot, the main plot itself deliver a good message, however the subplot & supporting character's action I find sometimes lacking & rather nonsensical.
Although they did well in writing supporting character's background, but along the way somehow they're sacrificed to show the MC struggle/moving the plot forward hence I feel detached to the supporting characters as more ep goes. Ngl, I've even wanted to burn the whole village down at somepoint halfway through the series because of how irritating the supporting characters have become, lol.
Main couple worth 10/10, main plot 9/10, the other (subplot & supporting) 7/10, acting 10/10 Overall 9/10 My fav supporting character is Teng She, the show hv become a lot more enjoyable thanks to him, that dude is on crack, a living meme, lol
Now, the real question is, how can I move on from Si Feng? He set the bar too high & Cheng Yi's acting is really killing it TT I need more drama with calm male lead like Si Feng here & Dr Zhou from Intense Love, anyone knows any?

I still remember the day where he roasted the irresponsible husband guest on Hello Counselor with his glaring eyes, lol. Love to see him more in variety shows, I can see how mature he is as a person even since backthen when he's considered still very young. I still haven't got to watch Master in the house newest ep after his departure, I know am gonna miss him dearly 😂
