So let me ask you a question, if you find out how a guy you barely knew keep following you & trying to get close to you on purpose of provoking other people will you be feeling pleased & comfortable?
If so, then we surely have different std then & I don't think I need to say anything more.

Like I said earlier, you shdn't take the whole 16 ep arc of SJ to compare with the SML here, my OP take is only from the first 4 ep how they have similiar intention.
You keep bringing the whole Seo Jun's arc liking JG in a much later ep which never been in the context.
I also said that it can also be revealed later if the SML here improved & turned nice, if you compare ppl then give them fair share 4 ep to 4 ep.

Oh my you clearly have your own interpretation in mind. I said I dislike the SML here because he reminds me of SJ, yes.
I never like typical bad boys yes. The way SJ treat the FL as a tool for his revenge I clearly explain it, he's trying to get close to the FL with that intention in mind, just like the SML did here with his bet in mind. I'd be as bothered if I know a person I barely knew getting close to me for a bet or because he want to use me to provoke other people. It's your problem if you can't take it as him took her as a tool, not mine.

I said I never liked bad boys in the context of my taste of men for love interest. But as a person to person I can see that SJ character has evolved throughout the series & actually a good guy beneath, I acknowledge that thus why I said I like him too in that context, but still I won't like him enough to choose him as love interest. I never twisted my words but you are the one who twisted my words from your very little understanding of mine, judge me & excalates everything more than it should.

There's obviously a different take of my OP was about.

Both SML use the FL in some way in their initial ep & that undoubtly so.
I've even explain if this happens in real life most ppl would upset upon knowing it too, you just don't want to accept my explanation, that's fine.

But I never said anything about judging the SML as a whole, or in this case Seo Jun as a whole, I never said that he's overall a bad person, didn't I? You're assuming thing when I never implied anything.

My point is
Both SML has similiar traits from the first 4 ep.

SML turned into a better person & has a good heart beneath: SJ proves it while SML.dude here haven't yet to explore or prove to be so, we're still at their 4th ep.

I like SJ as a character in the later ep even if he's not my type just like you did with Suho, although not to the point of shipping the FL with him, just like you might as well if the SML here show improvement, so I really don't get why you had to take this on a whole new level when it's just a matter of different perspective or different taste of men.
It's just my take, my opinion regarding the characters. You may leave it as it is just like I did with yours.

The way I see it you keep looking at SJ with some special glasses & keep giving him more excuse after excuse, it's just his initial impression, it's just on some of the scenes, etc so clearly I don't see any of this discussion will come to fruitful & I honestly don't care whether you take SJ like that or not. I have no intention to change your mind.

In conclusion, I have share my point why the SML is similiar, similiar doesn't mean to be the exact same thing just fyi. Whether you want to believe it or not it's up to you, my point still stands eitherway.

And you gave SML here 4 ep worth judgement while you give Seo Joon 16 ep worth when ofc his character has come in full arc. For a better & fair comparison, it shd be both 4 ep worth, just saying.

Revenge was assosiate with Suho but it's undeniable that she use JG in that. The SML here use her as a bet, Seo Jun there use her as a tool for his revenge, hence if the show shown JG knowing his intention is like that in their initial ep then she'll be as upset as Lee Dam here when she find out how she was used as a bet.

If in real life this happens to me, some guy I barely knew keep following & getting close to me with that intention I'll be very upset & warn him to back off and mind his own business.
Unfortunately the show never make JG know all of that.

Whether you don't think it brings a personal negative way to the FL is up to you, if you'd like to think that way, go ahead, but just be as open minded.

The FL does feel uncomfortable to get in between boys & in a situation she wouldn't want to enter to begin with.

♡♡, for me he used to be that way too although maybe not as much or I think maybe his first impression lasted on me more than it should, so I've been given a repeller right from the start, lol

This drama is shaping up to be a a much2 better drama than I think it would. I went in without much expectation and very pleased to find that they're not only hilarious, but also written with lots of heart. Main leads character were written really well, sincere, has good heart & just so so relatable. I choked up & feel what she feels even before her first tears drop (ep4).
It's easy to buy how they connected to eachother, they shared similiar soul & the drama doing a decent job in building beautiful moments between them & take time to see them evolves in natural way (while side eyeing Doom who rushed everything out, lol)

As for the SML, I never like this type of ML, he reminds me of Seo Jun from True Beauty whom I'll never understand the hype around his character (as I'm more into a softie, broken, cool calm type of guys than this bad boys type), so as long Lee Dam is being Lee Dam & the show doesn't turn her into some mere fickle girl, I think I'll be fine & content.

All in all, so far this drama has a promising start & even better, looking from the flashback they give, it seems we're in for an emotional ride ( & hell yes to it!) ♡♡

Hyeri is such a living meme, am loving her character here & gosh she's so pretty! And ofc Kang Ha Na & all the guys too :))

Yes, hahaha, nothing tops the horribleness of pacing this drama has. I didn't like the romance in Goblin as well, but at least that one does a proper story telling/ world building like you said & give enough screentime to the 2nd leads as they should :)))

Doesn't mean to discourage you or anything, but even as a person who dropped Goblin, I find this even more underwhelming than that, at least Goblin has a better pacing & idk entertaining, this just went on circles, boring & repetitive without proper development & some things just doesn't make sense. The 2nd leads story is what makes me stay otherwise I'd hv dropped this one too. (Btw, I love all the actors, it's just the script doesn't do justice on them).
Feel free to try tho, although probably it's better to watch them without much expectation.

But we know it since Day 1 , what makes the difference with them breaking up, why make fuss & the effort to love him then. We know that time will come & that's their exact contract & consequence if she choose to love him since Day 1.

Ikr, like the main couple even not already having way too much screentime rn. If the second leads having less than they already are, I think I'll do the same or wish someone can make a whole compilation of their scenes only, lol

Same here, their scenes are my reason to stay otherwise I'd hv drop this drama, haha. it's a shame that their scenes in total 8ep in fact are too little to be called as 2nd main leads, they feel more like supportings instead.

Also, this is the first time ever for me to feel how a drama hv been giving way too much screentime for the 1st main couple (eventhough I love SIG & PBY), just for them having it get wasted on repetitive scenes.

Also, idg the whole DK ask for a break up after confessing their love & practically ask MM to be by her side, why bother to break up if she have lil' time remains to live, why not trying to live to the fullest? It's not like you'll not love him then after the break up.
