Agreed on non romance drama have the best romance, indeed it is, btw the character's chart shows some connection between both & marked as "affection?" though in dotted lines & ended w/ question mark, I'm hopeful no matter if it's only a bait to lured us, they got me for sure, lol

While Dong Shik doesn't seem to be the killer, there's something about him doubting me, which the exact same thing why Ju won was so assured that he's the killer.
Those text message the lady has sent when JW ask her to type 1 if he met DS. Otherwise why else the lady's texted him 111111111111 like that if not the urgency/ danger she might have felt atm when she met him?
So, why the lady sent him that text?
No one (except the lady) knows their code, right?
It does feels like DS is either the killer, the accomplice or he knows/ protecting the real killer just like what HJW think.

When a crackhead meets another crackhead you can't predict what will they do or how things will turn out, esp when most people in town seems shady af & hv their own personal interest, lol, am loving this drama, it's unpredictable & intriguing, I can't wait for their next ep!!

Also, am craving to see more Jae Yi-Joo Woon moment, maybe she can become JW's catalyst to show his vulnerable side too, he's very much guarded to everyone, I'm really curious & want to see more of his backstory to know what actually made him become like this.

This get escalates quickly! the suspense, the acting & psychological thriller on ep 3 all were on point & had me glued to my screen.
Feels like they were breaking those 4 walls & make us confused whom to trust & whose pov convinced you the most, or are they really in their right mind.
One thing for sure is, I'm all for this mind game they play!

Yeah I couldn't get passed Vincenzo 2nd ep, I keep dozing off & got bored with it, this one on the other hand, held my attention & both ML's acting are *chef kiss, marvelous!

Not trying to persuade you or anything, but if you're going to watch it anw, maybe you want to consider that this one has 20 ep with 1.20 hours each ep, are you sure you'd prefer to binge the whole thing? xD

Heartless city is a dark noir action crime drama with serious theme from start to finish, Vincenzo is billed as action comedy & way lighter from HC, so there's no way this one will ended like HC.
I love HC way more than this tho, the ML is my absolute fav anti hero, even until this day none other character beats him & the drama itself is a gem for me.

Agreed, on the contrary to what some ppl said about her, I find the screenwriter here did an excellent job making this drama hv alot more substance than the webtoon & feels like a mini summary itself except making it tons better with the change she made.

Unlike the webtoon, here she knows clearly who is the ML & stick with it, give the ML a proper development & a meaningful bond to all main leads, not dragging it down with playing both feet.
The webtoon is such a drag & went circles like you said, JG in the webtoon even just realize that SH accept her bare face only after 148 ch & all this while she's pretty much laughing on his face to find him calling her pretty & find he's weird, lol.

The drama SW here clearly stated that she is responsible to every decision of hers & the changes she made, while keep being humble & advise ppl to take both as two different work, so ppl can love either one or even both.
I like what I see in her interview.
And her decision to make the change is obvious.
Why would she bother to folllow the webtoon when it's not clear where the webtoon is heading to, even now at ch 148 it's still landed at the land of nowhere.

Why bother to follow if she can make the change & make it better with greater message?
It's a no brainer, actually.

A nice, calm, soothing & warm drama to watch, nothing exceptional or extraordinary but it's a drama where you can just enjoy & relax. Not too melodramatic, just hv the right amount of feel.
I don't particularly like office theme drama, but this one I like it, it's delightful to watch & held my interest long enough to binge all the ep in 3 days (currently at 11). The side characters are also another plus points, their story interesting. The main couple have a realistic gradual step progress from coworker to lover, they took their time & not being rushed out, I like that.
It also reminds me a bit of My Unfamiliar Family drama.

Oh ofc I do know that love can never be force, you can't force someone to love you back, never was, never will, but idk I just find their marriage (if happens) somehow can work well too if they both want to compromise w/ eachother & understand eachother better.
Reality speaking, in this world not everyone marries for love, maybe those who lucky are, but there are also those who marries for stability, security, comfort, fondness, or maybe wealth at the start then love comes later (or it might never will, we never know) and maybe I just see it in them (JS HJ), but that's before I see her went that cray2, lol

There's no guarantee in marriage, people who fell in love can fall out love too. Commitment, compromise, communication & compatibilty holds the key for its longevity as well.

I dislike the way JS treated SA & HS backthen but later I do pity him. And eventhough his relationship with HJ start for all the wrong reason with quite toxicdity, I do find them being together might work out well somehow & wish things went well for JS sake, hv a happy marriage & being accepted in the family, rather than making him involved with SA HS again.
But I guess, they just hv to show us her cray cray side *facepalm.

Also, I think the PD of this drama has some habit in showing his/her character's result behaviour first than their actual reason, so I keep went from "huh? Did I miss anything?" to "Oohh, so they only show it now", lol

Ohh? Was it 1.20 as well on TB? I didn't notice nor I feel it that long there as I feel it here, lol, maybe because I've been way too invested on TB to notice. I get that this is only their first week tho, so we'll see maybe somehow it will work for them too, am just a bit wary as they are 20ep long with longer ep each :))

I wish it was shorter by much or at least having just a regular 1hr length each, it doesn't even show alot of things/ have that much of a plot so idg why they forced it to be longer than usual. Imo shorter ep length in action comedy will give them more benefit & extra punch for viewers craving for more & hit next button than them having the longer ones, it can be pretty tiring to hv 1.20hr each ep, however, if it's occassionaly only when needed I think it'll be fine.

Indeed, am watching this for YJG & his excellent acting, but when I know SHK will be his co partner am even more thrilled, absolutely loving him on Pied Piper, their tandem is the pairing I never knew I needed before so am thanking JTBC for giving us their perfect casting here :))

At this rate, the handcuffs that both MLs has shared in their drama poster might be a big spoiler given from them, lol

The first 1 hr from the first ep was great, but the later 20min wasn't, it felt like a pretty generic lawyer drama set up, their originality is gone.

Just starting this & I like what I see, although there's some part that I missed since I wasn't paying attention that much at the beginning.
So, this may sound silly, but can anyone tell me whether Hyun Seung sister is his real sister? I mean, blood related? Am just trying to figure out whether there's a possibility of another love triangle (2nd FL like HS) xD
