Yup, I second Start Up being an immature drama to its core eventhough has a work environment set up & played by adult.
This one despite being a highschool drama handle things more mature than Start up ever does & fits to its genre.

People can love SJ for themselves but still shipping SH-JG because from character POV wise they're the perfect match & have a way deeper bonding for eachother. It's JG's choice not viewers, we ship the ML to be with the FL not to be with us x'D

So far it's very enjoyable & lighthearted to watch but more than that they're dealing with deep matters too, for me they're quite mature & no it's not a shallow drama so very recommended to watch.

This exactly my point, viewers who are frustated at SU & BA has the reason to be upset because they dragged the love triangle till the last ep playing with viewers feelings and make a ridiculous ending. While here, the story are coherent that SH-JG has all the reason to be together and the perfect choice for eachother, why ask for a frustating love triangle to be added that'd ruin everything & has no added value I'll never get why.

Yup, I'm more afraid with how the comment section will be than the drama itself tho, I wonder if it's being this heated when SJ in the drama doesn't even hv enough material to be ship with the FL, imagine all the rants & dissapointment later if he have.

Dragging a love triangle will only ruin everything.
I hope TB will show them more dealing with their insecurities, being supportive to eachother & overcome it, their love and friendship than stringing this tiring love triangle concept.
But yeah, let's hope for the best for their 2nd half.

Since I came from Start Up & Born Again, it confused me the most to see people asking the drama to give more crumbs for the SML to be with the FL.
Like, it's the worst thing to wish & still hurts me till this day. If the SML on Born Again who had the FL as his fiancee, kiss scene & practically got killed by the first ML never gets the FL, if the SML on Start Up who practically has all the development, childhood connection, bonding, an orphan who has no one, who did everything selflessly for the FL never gets the FL.
No other SML will ever get the FL.

I'd rather seeing the drama making a clear cut on who the endgame is in their earliest ep so I can decide rightaway whether it's worth it to continue or not & know who to ship with.
Rather than be giving crumbs after crumbs, torture us in their journey only to drop & break us way more harder at the last ep.

It traumatized me & I learned the harsh lesson.
People who keep asking the chance for the SML will only got hurted even more in the end because it won't end well for him either way and even worst the SML will lost his chance to hv a proper development aside than those stringing love triangle till his last drop.

This drama however, unlike BA & SU, have a kind first ML to be root for, so I don't get why people shd insist the harder way for the SML chance knowing it will be even more hurtful in the end.

True, they understand eachother, care, feel connected & only have eyes for eachother, no need to bring another person come in between, no one will understand them better than they are for eachother, they're the missing pieces for eachother.

I'm literally counting the day when they'll released I miss You - Se Yeon's song, that song is hauntingly beautiful & sad TT

Just a shout out appreciation post for Suho character here, I love how soft & genuinely caring he is to JG, he is a pure, calm, loner character who has been struggling with his own trauma, his days are lonely & cold, without anyone around, beating and blaming himself for SY death thus thinking he is unworthy & took distance from everybody, a quite sad character.
Then he met JG, the first person whom he feel connected to, his days are now starting to have more colors, he still think he is undeserving so he tried to push her away, but her support and genuine care towards him touch his soul so he took the courage & effort to be with her.

I hope this drama will show us more about SH-JG beautiful bonding, how supportive they are to eachother, and how they overcome their own fear & struggle.
I hope SH in the drama could have a better fate & won't become too depressed or suicidal without anyone ever there for him to convince him that he is a worthy person, to convince him to forgive his self, so he can open his heart to other people once more.

Oh I totally related to that, people can love SJ character tremendously without even read the webtoon because HIY acting & SJ character itself is attractive, but what I meant with them having no material to develop hard SLS is for him to be with the FL.

People can like SJ & choose SJ for themselves but the one who suit JG is SH in this drama, as the one who touch JG heart deep down, feel related & connected with is SH. SJ is still having trouble to read her mind & JG never see him that way.

I'm loving SJ character too & hoping for his own happiness as well, but not with keep pursuing JG romantically as it will only make him suffer, his character deserves more than that.
