If that was it, how does that relevant to your saying that JP was selfish & conveniently want to reveal the truth because he saw DS-DM closeness? When actually it's the opposite. He's afraid the truth will hurt Dalmi so he won't try to expose the truth on ep 5 if he wasn't being cornered by Dal mi.

The difference between Do San & Ji Pyeong lie is, JP intention is never on his own accord, his priority is Dalmi & Grandma feelings
While I can't say the same thing to Do San.
Earlier Do San insist to keep the lie just so he had the chance to keep meeting Dal Mi, but soon after he's confident that he's able to get Dalmi's feelings he want to back out & reveal the truth, for his own accord.

Idk where do you get the idea that the reason ji pyeong was about to told DM the truth because he saw how close NDS to DM. JP was forced by DM to give her his explanation. And if the closeness you're referring to is the scene where DS hug DM, that scene happens only after DS interrupt DM-JP conversation which exactly counter your point. And I don't see any other scene that describe the closeness between DM-DS that was seen by JP tbh, they're working together & that's all.
And like Naruxsasumi said, if there's one being jelly, it's NDS & basically that's the reason why he try to disclose the secret out.

And what HJP may feel to DM doesn't matter, the plot is now at NDS convenience for DM develop feelings to him, thus I said HJP letters is an advantage for NDS, as simple as that.

Ji Pyung already want to gave up & tell the truth at some point because he think it's almost impossible to keep the lie as Dal Mi will find the truth somehow, but Do San insists to keep the lie as he already smitten by Dal Mi & told him that the secret will be kept between them unless JP told her the truth & the only obstacle would be him being not a hotshot men so they need to work on that.

Also, regardless those letter was the real HJP or not, it doesn't matter, it was written by HJP not NDS, it was HJP thought not NDS, so relying on those letters to get Dal Mi's feeling would still be a fraud.

Can't they ended the whole lie already?
It's so nervewrecking since I find it'll be unfair for HJP if Dal Mi fell for NDS using HJP letter as her base.
How can I root for DM-NDS pairing if they made it that way?

I dislike the idea of love triangle between the three, but if they had to make them exist, please let it be fair & square, stop milking this whole misunderstanding & lie.

From what I've seen when he make a cameo appearance on Coffee friends (reality show) Nam Joo Hyuk was indeed the awkward shy type, so I think yes maybe the writer know his real personality & had him in mind when she wrote his character.

Yes Ji Pyung had a proper criteria/ well fitting to be acknowledged as the first ML since he was introduced earlier, met the FL earlier & had a more developed background story (which captivated me the most) while Do San was not introduced until later. The thing is, although Do San is adorable, it's already too late as Ji Pyung has stole my heart completely :')
Viewers won't know Do San is the first lead unless they see their promotional poster tbh.

Argh ep 5, I guess the rivalry between the 2ML are inevitable, I hate it tbh because I love seeing their bromance.
Between the 3 main leads, I know it will hurt me badly if I see Ji Pyung were left behind, not only because the SLS is real in this one, but Do San at least has his best friends & family to support him, but Ji Pyung only has Yeong Sil his speaker friend TT.

Please show, let Ji Pyung be happy, if he won't end up with Dal Mi, I'd rather him falling for In Jae, I don't want to see him lonely & getting hurt left & right.

The highlight of this ep for me was the scene between the Grandma & the Good boy though, their relationship are so beautiful *sniffs

Not exactly badly written character per se i think, but maybe her character was written rather bland compare to the other leads character's writing as she was written a bit formulaic/ similiar to other heroines in kdramas.
But that doesn't mean there's no room for improvement though, it's only their 4th ep, and looking how In Jae got a significant development in Ep 3 I'm optimist we'll get to see the unexpected side of Dalmi's too.

It was Dal Mi's but who knows maybe In Jae were there too witnessing it, it could be one of their happiest memory as a family

To me nothing more toxic than Born Again's writer & director combo for normalized stalking & killing and treated him as a saint just because he's the ML and Alice's writer&director combo for normalized fauxcest, Both drama makes me wanna puke while the former really makes my blood boiled to the highest level it ever gets.

You'll understand In Jae better if you watch ep 3 & 4, I think a lot of ppl were hating her character on ep 1&2 but then find her character intriguing after watching ep 3&4, I also love ep 3&4 more than ep 2 because we get more indepth of all the characters involved, Ji Pyung, Do San, etc.

True, despite what he has been going through, he's not a gloomy character, his bantering with all the guys are so funny, lol. I hope he can find his soulmate who can understand him soon.
