No one ever said that HJP is not at fault, we acknowledge that all three are at fault. But there's a BIG difference between Hjp lie & NDS lie, NDS has the intention to lure Dal Mi into romance relationship & taking advantage to her feelings for the supposed to be person who wrote the letters, touching her face, hairs, etc. We all know that Dalmi wouldn't allow him already if she met NDS as pure strangers given how high her standard towards men is.
But in the case of HJP, he never tried to lure Dalmi into romance relationship using the letters. He wrote those letters to give Dalmi the confidence & support she needed but he never once tried to claim that the letters is his to Dalmi. He use false identity when writing those letters, but how do we know for sure that all the things written in the letters (continued more than 1 year) were all lies? He can also put his true feelings too, especially knowing that he has literally no one in this world to share his burden, he can also share his own feelings thru the letters especially when it was anonymous. HJP remember DM's name, his penpal from 15 years ago, when i can't even remember my friends name from elementary school I think already gave a clearer picture.
If HJP then want to start a romance relationship with DM after DM knows that he wrote those letters , I want him to come clean at DM too, how it's all start with Grandma asking him to wrote the letters, then how much from the letters is him & how much is not. Just like how I hope NDS did too before proceeding to pursue DM romantically knowing for sure that he is benefitting from the lie. It'll only be fair for Dalmi like that.

I read it being mentioned somewhere, how there's a big difference in: 1. Giving something to others the things that you're actually cherished/ care about 2. Giving something to others the things that you're actually doesn't care about.
Here, the throphy I think fall for point#2, NDS won the competition but he never care about the title or the throphy itself, so it's easy for him to give it to someone else.
However, in relation to Dalmi, this was never be the case, because he actually cherish her. His action is often show the opposite of his nickname Living Buddha, we see how he's been proactively cutting JP's way to Dalmi, his temper, etc, which later can be seen as inconsistencies in the writing of his character hence it's even harder for viewers to feel related/ connected with his character, which's the case for me rn.
Both ML had their own flaws, but HJP's flaw was written consistent to his character so he is easier to relate/ understand than NDS, although we never know whether the writer intentionally making NDS character's writen inconsistent like this on purpose or not & if so, what she aims at.
If someone asked you a favor to disguise as him & met a girl to help her because the person who asked wasn't able to make it/ unavailable at that moment. But the girl really mistook you as him & start touching you here and there because him & her had history, would you:

My problem with most romcom is, I often feel bored when the leads got together as a couple & mostly right after, because they often become one person in unisono instead of 2 equal person. Somehow I feel that it won't be the case with DM-HJP but I guess we'll never know xD
