Synopsis can be change a lot of times when there's no official synopsis
, if the drama made the change from the novel then ofc the synopsis will be different too. I never keeping tabs on the synopsis, often I went to watch the drama blindly.

It's a novel translation coz the official drama translation coming from wetv is not like that, not the drama fault.

They always put the source on the synopsis, if shown mydramalist without official broadcasting tv then it's not official.

Goodness, I've literally give you some title for example it's just you don't want to admit that drama can be different than the novel. Whether or not you want to admit my point still stands.
I don't think people would stoop that low (judging a drama from novel synopsis alone) so yes the drop in rating is irrelevant/ doesn't reflect the actual ep airing.

A lot of novel adaption drama has major change whether its characterization or plot from the novel, they often whitewashed evil ML character or anything in the novel were changed to suit viewers taste more or to fit censorship, to name a few ML character from Till The End of the Moon or even Romance of Twin Flower get whitewashed alot.

People shdn't blindly expect drama=novel coz often they are different & better watch the drama with an open mind.

Yes but even so the two drama you mention has normal drop in rating 0.2~0.3.
this is normal pattern coz I've only watched cdramas with long ep while they're airing (never completed) & that was the pattern. A 0.6 drop like FFL is rare/ never occurs to me.

Idk if you aware or not but MDL is volunteered based, the synopsis were given from fans or viewers like us, to be put on the drama page. When there's no official synopsis, often they took the synopsis from the novel.

So yes my point that giving them bad rating for that alone is irrelevant still stands, coz the synopsis never even came from the drama itself.

People shd check Wetv/Tencent synopsis for official drama synopsis (current synopsis on mdl is the official one it was updated by one of the viewers who submit the change on mdl after the drama has airing).

No, hating a drama as much to give them bad rating just from a novel synopsis is childish and irrelevant to me.
Why blame the drama when the synopsis came from the novel, not the drama itself.

There also more feedbacks from people who watch the drama similar to mine, it has a good plot, engaging with layered characters as well & evenmore people think the drop in rating is odd/doesn't represent the actual ep that has came out at all.

I never talk about overall rating at the first place, but the drop in rating (0.6).

Xinxia is a fantasy so they won't count that.

Reason why I'm saying this is because I've never seen a drop in rating this much in 3 days airing when the drama is actually great thus to me it's the haters work, no other relevant reason I can think of coz it tick all the boxes for me.

Can you even name 1 other drama that is really good but drop 0.6 rating in 3 days airing like this one? Coz I can't as it's just that rare.

I haven't watched SJ, if so it's must be an odd one coz mostly they will get tweaked (as in it's in their dream, or reveal it's a story inside novel/ their imagination in their last ep) or get removed altogether, they won't allow rebirth plot where one undoing their past mistakes.

Chinese gov won't allow such plot (reborn, undoing past mistakes) to avoid their people being suicidal thinking they can just start over with taking suicide.
Plot like this will eventually get tweaked or removed if they want to show the drama onscreen, otherwise it won't get pass the gov censorship.
So you won't see these kind of plot in their big TVs drama.
(Short drama online/vertical drama works different tho)

The synopsis doesn't come from the drama themselves, it came from the novel that volunteers choose to put & not the official drama synopsis so why blame the drama? people can get dissapointed but shdn't get to the extent to downrate the drama rating just because of it. It is like barking at the wrong door. Chinese gov won't allow such rebirth plot esp not like this one (to undo & start over), even a drama Rebirth For You with rebirth as their title doesn't hv any rebirth plot whatsoever.

I do often read some viewers complaints about haters in some of other dramas I've watched & usually I'd disagree coz the patterns for these drama mosly similar (drop 0.2 to 0.3), but I'd agree with FFL coz the patterns are different (0.6 is too much when there's no bad ep airing), I couldn't even recall a drama drop their rating this much unless they're trash & this drama certainly is not, I've even find they're the best airing drama rn (great writing with lots of layered characters, great directing, acting & engaging plot).

With MDL the rating will be more steady & reflect better near the end where more real viewers rated it as they watched. Hence I said it's better to open rating system only near the end.

Your saying (FFL not being targeted) will only believable if the comment section is align with it (show no haters), but here I've seen people mocking FL's appearance, her being old & all with troll accounts, I don't see such hating on FH, S&B or WoF nor even see their rating hugely drop when there is none bad ep like this (I watched them all).

Also I still don't think it's fair to down rate a drama so bad when people only watch 1 to 3 ep out of 40ep, or downrated a drama just because a mistake someone is making (putting novel's synopsis on the drama & not the drama synopsis itself).

Dropping 0.2 to 0.3 is normal, but not like this (8.2 to 7.6) & you can see haters give 1 rating to ep that hasn't even aired.
Most viewers (like me) won't leave rating when they're not completed yet, I seriously think MDL shd disable the rating sistem when the drama hasn't aired 2/3 part of the series, a lot of trolls abusing it, it's a haters magnet.
It'd be more fair for all drama if rating were disable so people came to watch without prejudice.

This! I want them to reunite before but not anymore after the reveal, how can she be sure he won't leave her again in the future if she's struggling again? Also somehow it feels like he want to reunite with her because he can't find any better girl than her after the break up, but what if he find a better one in the future? Will he leave her again? JH should never be his spare to begin with. It's more tragic that they dated with marriage in plan but he fail her at her lowest when she needed him the most, it's the most heart breaking reason to part.

No one forcing you to watch it & yes watching snippets =/= watching the drama, you lost nuance, meaning & story between characters without.
Whether to start watching the drama as a whole or only watching snippets is your choice.

I don't get your point either, I only said it would be unfair for the drama if you're only watching parts that you want (the grand princess) not drama as a whole & it'll be hard coz she's a supporting character not the main. It has nothing to do with any actors.

I hv short attention span but even this drama has me glued on my seat for how good it was. Maybe your laundry, cooking and cleaning is the problem (too distract to even pay attention to the drama) not the drama itself. Also, how come you're at ep 8 when it hasn't even released?

Selective watching will be hard & unfair to the drama, why not try & see it yourself if it was good or not? Her part alr present & she make an intriguing character, one from many fleshed out characters in this drama.

Jobless haters downrating it, they even give 1 rating to episode that hasn't even aired yet.
