Please be patient it's still too early, it takes time for the leads to get finally there, the chemistry imo is on point coz they're not there yet. The romance will be built slowly, just as they buit their trust. I actually prefer this way (more believable & deeper than instant love).
The ML will get more mature by experience & match FL's maturity, only by then we get to judge if their dynamics were a mismatch or not.
They're really good at stirring people's emotion, I feel like an emo girl watching this, I went from laughing to sobbing to feel the rage to cracking up it's crazy, I'm fully invested! Usually it's easy for me to get distract but this one so far (am at ep 7) always got me glued on my seat, amazing! Love how most/ each of the characters are fleshed out, they had their own backstory & value and certainly not a 2D characters!
