Watching S1 isn't necessary, but for me S2 is needed to know the real meaning behind Fugui's birth, you'll understand & relate more to his father's decision or why he become the man he has become (I think people who watch S2 will hate or judge his character less). So if you have the time I'll suggest you to watch S2 before watching S3 coz it's adding S3 value. But eitherway you'll still understand the story. S2 is precious on its own so for me it's good to watch (I dropped S1)

What I get from rewatching it keenly to see Won Kyu's reaction: He's still affect much by his ex: - " I think I'm gonna be heartbroken" >> said on the 1st night - hearing her voice upstairs (presume with other guys) annoys him that he wear earplug as his counter - he cried reading his ex introductory letter & hold his gift that was returned dearly (while looking dejected)
But
From the trailer, It was his ex that was seen breaking down crying And slam down her cloth furiously Also there's a snippet that show him getting closer to JY (in the kitchen) & that voice over "did you kiss her?" (I think it's her voice)
Damn
I can see there's more and more drama going forward & also the reason why I think the production team had to reveal the exes this early.
I don't want to overthink but this show is like the epitome of overthinking inducing
Imagine if Ji Yeon enter his room like before, what would you do as his ex to get out of that situation? A. Squat, bend and roll over to the door in a flash B. Crabwalking to the door in slo-mo C. Blend yourself to the dark corner & chanted some invicible spells hoping it would work D. Bend and slithering your way to hide under YS bed 😂
Sidenote, do you think JY actually see her but pretend like she's not? *She can actually see her reflection from that big mirror with her side eye 🫣

Honestly I don't think WK-JY & YS-HJ pairing would work, they seem to hv dated just because the girl asked them to & returning the favour out of courtesy. So far the most possible new pair to me JH-YS, MK-new guy/WJ, BH-NY given their chemistry & similar interest, also maybe WK-HJ too.
I feel bad for WJ for not properly got the break up closure thus he's getting affected by his ex sm & the way basically the door has been slammed upon his face multiple times in this ep alone is just ouch.
Ep 7 feels like an ep full of multiple, similar death stares coming from the exes, thrilling it is 😂
Lil' that we know that Jenga game might give WK some hot &cold sweats + he might hear her in the upstairs doing her yoga while both of the other guys present, that too in the same night, lol, no wonder he's showing his tantrum at her a lil' in his room, so cute
