No one in this drama is innocent & faultless. I get where you are coming from. But I believe all three of them…
Lol, actually, I feel like the director may not know himself & confuse along with us, lmao. Agree, the plot is indeed unique, refreshing with brilliant casts & just like you I'm intrigued as well with their story & how they'd wrapped their story goes. I just hope they don't dissapoint & wish they won't ruin it.
No one in this drama is innocent & faultless. I get where you are coming from. But I believe all three of them…
Oh true each character had their own flaws, but my point was it's all started from GJC/JB so I think it shd ended by him as well.
Also my point above doesn't mean that I'm complaining with the screentime JB gets (I don't mind that at all), but his backstory that the director is showing for him, which the OTP didn't even get, like these multiple unfortunate things that happened to him, was it really neccessary to show it into such extent? I feel like they're trying too much to make him look so pitiful that viewers might sympathized with him more than the OTP when I don't think his fate could ended well, so they'll get backlashed if something bad happened to JB character, not to mention some viewers might hating SB/SH character too. I feel like they're trying to pull things in two opposite directons, like what's the point. They're trying too much to please two different parties which to me come at the expense/bring inconsistencies to the drama itself.
Even by now at ep 10 the director/writer doesn't seem to understood himself on which character portrayal viewers shd be rooting for, like they had to make both ML as equal & intentionally confusing us viewers, I just don't get why would they do that.
And yes I love this drama but the way they keep dragging this forced love triangle is too much & make them look stupid/frustating as a character. Like you said, the scene could ended well with JB shared his story with SB & developed bonding without her needed to get drunk/passed out & JB kissed her *facepalm
I'm sad with their rating esp when all the actors already giving all the best they can, I feel like they def could get more than that if the directing wasn't as confusing, or more cohesive unlike my above concern.
I think my problem with this drama is with their directing, how the FL here treated in some way like a thropy, where both ML compete eachother, if one ML kissed her then the following /next proceeding scene had to be the other ML who does it too & it keeps happening like that.
I don't get why they had to make it seem like it's somewhat a competition when actually it does not & shdn't be portrayed as such as we already know where the FL heart lies into.
Also, I feel like the director gives too much credit on JB's character, with so many pitiful background being shown in the drama while they give less credit to the OTP, OTP backstory often just being told in the drama rather than being shown like JB. I get that fleshing a villain's character is somewhat great to give more complexity, but here I find it too much. Esp seeing how they keep romanticizing some disturbing scenes of him & portraying/sold it as "romance".
What does the director actually want to convey here? Are we supposed to root for JB while given seen how the story telling goes it shdn't be like that.
I'm rooting for OTP happiness since they will never been at this messed at the first place if it's not because of GJC interfered, no matter how pitiful they've made him seem, he's not innocent & I feel like we haven't really seen his full shades yet.
I can assume that the point of this story is to not repeat the same ending that happened during the 80's and the…
Lol, great take & I totally agree on all that. Viewers sometimes forget that they shd see the characters decision/reasoning from their character's pov, not from our pov as viewers who knows everything.
Ppl might be biased with their own fav actors but it shdn't overtake our judgement to the characters action they're playing rn. That respecting the actors while criticizing the characters is possible.
However, we as viewers might sometimes gets frustated too with a certain behaviour of the characters that we might disagree, thus my ranted as well, lol (pls excuse me)
Nonetheless, it doesn't mean that I dislike the drama, in fact it's the opposite, I'm loving this drama alot & totally invested on the characters. I haven't felt like this for a while. That's why I'm worried if they might ruined it, which I really hope not, fingerscrossed.
The good things of this drama to me is how the characters here all are fleshed out, complete with their flaws that contributes their illed webtangled fate, which has interesting take if we take a look at eachother pov/backstory of the characters. This drama is just so underrated esp if we take a look at how this show is being original & unpredictable as they are, complete with a beautifully made heartwrenching romance that ain't cheesy & interesting anti hero characters.
To me they already had more than enough material for this drama to be a big hit, it has potential, maybe if the directing isn't as confusing enough, idk, I feel like ppl never give them a fair chance at all or maybe since it isn't everybody's cup of tea.
I had a slight concern with JB, why didn't he tell Sa bin the truth that SH ex fiancee is after her?
I get that he want to be the hero for SB so he didn't want to give the evidence to SH, his love rival, but why he lied to SB too when she ask him if he know who sent the tulip & poisonous coffee? He pretends that he doesn't know who the person is.
She maybe at risk if she wasn't aware of her enemy, like that day, right?
Sometimes I just can't read JB's mind
Does JB really loves SB? Or is it just a pure obsession & JB mistakenly took it as love? But actually a woman he'd like to owned/possessed?
Can anyone tell me who is the main male lead, please?
They shared almost the same amount of screentime, as equal that it's hard to tell who the real main ML is as both equally important, just like two tales of coins. If you're asking who the FL romantic interest, then it's LSH. But if you're asking who the main pov is then it's JKY.
The writer really need to stop making Sa bin's character looks cheap with no common sense just to give any "romantic scenes" with JB, it's seriously ruining her character, her intention maybe right but her action is not. Stop giving false signals to a guy whom you said you have no feelings for & stop giving him the opportunity to take any advantage of you Sa bin-ah, Please!!!
I'm not even her BF & I'm this upset, let alone SH, knowing that some potential suspect of murderer with a problem in mind keep pinning & stalking his GF all the time, no wonder if he went crazy, like seriously, who wouldn't? He even had the same ringtone as Sa bin is @#$%&
Also, the way I see it, it all happened because JB is getting too ahead of himself & want to be the "hero", but his plan bites himself back in the ass. He's sure pitiful but he must hv seen all of this coming. If you don't want to be suspect as a murderer, don't acted like one, defend yourself at the very least, gives any alibi or something instead of provoking here & there, he doesn't even trying yet blaming ppl who suspect him? smh.
Never forget, people, - kissing an unconscious person is sexual assault. No matter what music plays on the background…
True, they need to stop keep romanticizing such disturbing scenes everytime they had a chance, omg, imagine if ppl learned from this drama & really think that such action is romantic & follows them, @#$%&*
I think SB's uncles want her to date JB. I find it funny how they keep trying to leave them alone. Also did anybody…
Lol, yes even when at that time I'm upset at Sa bin & her uncles for giving him such opportunity I laughed at that scene too, I'd sprayed the whole bottle of disinfectants on his face rightaway :)))
Could you pls spoil me your thoughts after watching it with sub? It's 2am rn I need to sleep but am curious x'p May we have the patience to watch this frustating ep ^^"
True, none of these would happened if JB report the evidence to police or even SH, just like any normal people would do. None of these would happened if this stupid SB use her brain for once Yes! SH has always being blamed & ppl often nitpicking every lil things on him just for JB looks better? It really is nervewrecking. If SB blamed SH too then I'm so done with her, oh no she doesn't deserve SH let alone HB. I hope the following ep isn't as bad as we thought, but we have to wait for a week to know, it's insane
