Guys,be prepare & bring lots of tissues when you watch their last ep!! I cried constantly even w/out sub :'''( As for the ending, it's unclear to me without subs, but my take is: (continue in spoiler)
and Yeo Jin Goo's character Goo Chang Seong, that's guy is the perfect model of all the male lead
Disagree, though KJW as Ryan indeed so tempting, haha, but I chose CS over Ryan, I find CS more memorable as a character with a thoughtful writing from Hong sisters, he set the bar really high for other ML to compete.
But I agree that Ryan is a great supportive ML too, I had nothing against your choice & I respect yours, great choice :) It's just the drama itself wasn't as explorable/memorable/ near good as HDL to make him the best one for me.
Just posting it here, incase, well you never know whether it might turn correct or not, lol don't mind me xP
As we see that CS might went back to the past & see the past moon inn himself too in ep 15 preview..
Could it be that all this long CS was actually that one moon tree who sucked MW sword & prevent her from further destruction? He's MW's moon tree so it might be the reason why it's blooming its very first flower when CS dad saw the tree? He witnessed everything then? (O0)
It suddenly dawned on me that Chan Sung could've been the big green tree in the past. The tree is where Yeon Woo,…
Anything is possible :D I like your theory, tbh, if CS had to be one from MW past, I agree that the most suitable one to his character would be the tree.
I had one theory too (I've posted on a seperate post on the above too, lol) As we see that CS might went back to the past & see the past moon inn himself too in ep 15 preview, could it be all this long CS was actually that one moon tree who sucked MW sword & prevent her from further destruction? He's MW's moon tree so it might be the reason why it's blooming its very first flower when CS dad saw the tree?
I love how HDL had a lot of foreshadowing, complex story that we could always analyze to make our own theory.
Despite it will turn out correct or not, this drama is so enjoyable to watch & always makes my mind occupied through the week, am gonna hv a serious withdrawal after this series ended for sure :")
The teaser is out now. Just saw it on IG but no sub yet. :D
Yes! I just seen it with sub, thank you for the heads up :p. But even with sub I still had no idea on what's going on, guess I shd bear another torturing day until they released the ep x"] @#$%
Goo Chan Sung's poems for Jang Man Weol, written & made by Yeo Jin goo himself:
"I will plant a tree" I will plant a tree that will live longer than me So that you can meet this tree in the next life I will water it in your memory everyday I will stay beside it while it tinted the moonlight every night So do not be afraid when you leave me behind..
==============================
"Moon" In a narrow alley strewn with white magnolia, I remember the day I met you
As the white magnolia dissapeared before me, Will my memories of you also dissapear someday?
It's not like walking around in a short piece of time, The word "YOU" is engraved deep in my heart.
If I keep this heart and look at the moon, May I think I'm with you?
Waiting for this week finale is a plain torture! And where is that damn ep 15 preview when I need it the most? Will they even release it? The wait is killing me~ but I'm not ready to part with them either ;__;
No matter how much I love this drama, by ep 15 I wish they could stop tormenting Chan Sung by making him always be that one person who endures everything & be a sacrificial goat for every & each people around him like the one that they did on ep 14, esp when the person who sacrified him doesn't even seem to be felt sorry. He almost lost his life over nothing, just by some mere misunderstanding & God's play.
Boy, how much a person can actually take before having a mental breakdown? The ending of ep 14 just show it all (amazing act by Jin goo!) as well as the reason why I can't stop my tears from dropping even when the show has ended its airing time like ages ago. I can imagine how much pain he has suffered & how he really tried his best to endure everything & always put the one that he loves as his first priority while put himself aside for a countless time.
MW try to kill him, he endures it & just take it all without blaming/questioning her love. MW want to make herself vanish, he tried his might to save her even if it will cost him his life. MW need a shoulder to rest, he gave her one & held her hand rightaway without even think how much he might hv been hurting too inside. He want to hold MW but MW need to accompany CM to the after life, he endures it & wait for her. He always give her the time & space she needed, emotional support from all of her suffering & 100% trust. If that's not true love, idk what that is anymore.
The show may not be focusing on his sacrificial & imo they tried to romanticizing the captain's betrayal & tried to redeem him too much so people give CM more sympathy. But to me, no matter how much they tried to make CM reason looks romantic & reasonable, I don't buy his love for MW, he just came as a coward to me, only do something that people told him to do but didn't have the balls to take the consequences & no effort to do the otherwise either. No wonder YW felt disgusted for what he did & MW left being all broken. Like seriously CM, if you want to save MW by making yourself a betrayer, live with it! Live with the consequences that came from your own decisions. Why would you even stab yourself with MW's sword? Yes it'd make your pain becoming less painful but how about MW?? That's why I never believe his love and he just came as delusional & selfish to me, he never apologized to her, instead, he always be that one hopelessly romantic being all the time even after what he did to her.
As for CS, his story may had to stay as background so MW & CM can have the time for their own closure (because let's be honest here, this show's focus was always about MW & her past/grudge) but that doesn't make CS pain becoming any less painful or his sacrificial becoming less worthy.
So I want to give him credit when the credit is due & I really want to see MW give more effort for their love / CS as well now that her emotional baggage has been lifted up, because relationship works both way & I wish to see that in the upcoming ep 15/16, for them to make a healthy based relationship, for their future too (if any).
I don't mind with any ending, just hoping it'd be a good ending that make sense & consistent with the writing of the characters/ plot.
It's Lee Tae Sun who played Yeon Woo though =p (And he's doing great, glad that CTJ passed that role, I can't picture Yeon Woo played by no other than LTS :))
A question to everyone who's watching. Is Yeo Jin Goo's character an important character in this drama? From what…
Definitely! His character here is hands down one of my fav ML character ever & the best of YJG role as an adult to me, except well maybe the opposite character of this one as one lunatic king on TCC (he's smokin' there). His character here is the most mature, sincere & supportive ML with a spine of steel I've ever seen to date, who may teach us what true love is capable of & maybe learn one from his. A really refreshing one & truly one of a kind that we rarely seen in kdramaland
Crying so much after watching episode 14 When Chan Sung burst out crying on station in the last scenes I was giving…
I'm with you. I watched them live, and after the show ended like 30 min later my tears are still dropping, omg I felt CS pain so much. I never felt something like this before. His tears really broke my heart.
Chan sung was adorable in his tiger suit. It was really thoughful of him to wear it to make seo hee laugh by making…
Exactly my thoughts, thank you for pointing that out.
To me CM felt more like a first crush thing that we may experience when we're young, it maybe felt overwhelming so we're blinded by it but they're also reckless & self absorb.
While CS to me here was the meaning of true love that we may experince when we're more mature, the one that is closer to reality, an actual love, a real love. The kind of love which's grow deeper as you know the person more, the kind of love which's more understanding & selfless, that's why I find him precious & refreshing to see here on a kdrama.
Agree, I think it's the only major weak point. I don't dislike his character or anything, but it's just so incredibly…
I'm seriously flabbergasted to see you reply on me like this, for a matter that has ended well.
Where on earth did I ever forced my opinion over other people? Where on earth did I ever get too worked up defending CS when he's just a drama character to me?
I'm just trying to share my pov here & thought this is a place where people can always share their pov & discuss it even with ppl whom had a different pov with cool headed. To me it's always a nice thing to share & talk/try to understand eachother pov, but I guess my intention just kept being misunderstood.
If you think I'm too much, then guess it's better I'm out, bye!
