I also checked that blog now from time to time. Haha! That's another charm of HDL. It's mind stimulating. It drives…
Yes, I can see myself rewatching them back from their first ep just incase if I missed any clue, reference or hidden meaning lays underneath what they've shown on the surface, anything that could've added value by rewatching it, maybe later once they completed? lol. I think I'm going obsessed, I love how this drama keeps my mind busy with theories xP
One of another reason why I love this drama & think the rating is a well deserved. One of those great drama with a thoughtful writing. There's more than meets the eye.
Agree, I think it's the only major weak point. I don't dislike his character or anything, but it's just so incredibly…
Np, I'm not wording it well either, jerk isn't something that I shd hv brought up too, it came out too strong when my point was the usual push & pull tsundere ML kdrama has. I just can't find the correct words. We'll end this here clean & clear then, hope we can pass eachother w/ no hard feelings.
Agree, I think it's the only major weak point. I don't dislike his character or anything, but it's just so incredibly…
Like I said earlier, I'm just trying to convey my POV, never did I ever want to accuse you for anything, I'm just making a comparison because your pov was unclear to me that's why I said "if" which to me means may or may not meet a certain condition that follows. English isn't my first language so I apologize too if it sounded like I'm implying you to be. You can simply correct me & no high tension is needed.
Debating was never my intention to begin with, why would I when all I want is just to talk? It would lead nowhere so I'll just end it here.
Agree, I think it's the only major weak point. I don't dislike his character or anything, but it's just so incredibly…
Sigh, and you're making an assumption too when my point was to describe my POV why CS isn't bland & passionless like the one you're implying.
My point was he might be different than the regular passive aggresive ML we often encounter in kdramaland thus why he may came as bland. For an easy example, to me CM was the kind of type (that push & pull tsundere type) & many ppl seem to love him too, thus what I say. I never pointing at you, I said "people may". Means general, means people may not too either. what do you expect me to say?
And why would we even argue like this? I never accussed you for anything & you can simply just say your pov, no need the high tension & all that capital letter.
Agree, I think it's the only major weak point. I don't dislike his character or anything, but it's just so incredibly…
Yes, that's why I say "If". Because you never described the comparison, only stated CS as bland compare to?? Thus my pov. I never say anything that confirms you mean the passive aggresive type too though, am just saying if we're talking majority ML in kdrama, then those kind of type are the usual ones, not the type like CS character.
Agree, I think it's the only major weak point. I don't dislike his character or anything, but it's just so incredibly…
In regards to CS, I had to disagree. CS is anything but bland & he's def not the kind regular ML we often see in kdramaland too.
In fact, I feel the opposite, to me he is one of a kind ML whom we rarely find as he's the real meaning of a true gentlemen. He know what he wants and how to stick with his own rule, he doesn't give a damn to people who telling him otherwise, but he had so much compassion & respect to other people around him, he had a soft & caring heart.
If having passion means they have to be those regular passive aggresive ML who often be a jerk in their first encounter, those tsundere type, then am sorry, I'd choose Chan Sung over tons of them anyday.
CS imo is one kind of a man, a perfect husband material who respect his woman & give them space when she needs to, but wouldn't backdown if he sees her goes to the wrong path. He also know how to fight for his love/woman/things he value, even if that means he had to lower his pride for it. In short, a strong pillar where you can always depends & even guided you.
I think people were just used to those passive agressive ML they often seen in kdramaland, so they can't get used to/can't appreciate whenever a ML like CS appear.
CS to me is one of the best ML character I've ever seen & quickly become one of my all time fav ML. I know ppl might have different preferences though. CS is just totally my type & imo the one that fits MW best <3
Also, I can't even appreciate enough the way their romance (whatever emotional bonding CS & MW had inside) were developed, it grows beautifully & keeps getting stronger day by day, a slow burning ones which unlikely we seen in kdramaland where they often felt rushed & out of nowhere, just random skinship for the sake of romance. Here, time is needed because MW carries such a heavy bagage, where anyone would suffer from trust issues if they're on MW shoes.
And those are the few reasons why I adore this drama.
Oh then it's "Done for me by Punch" It hasn't released yet though. Originally it was scheduled to be released as their OST part 9, idk why it got pushed back & they released the newer OST instead. You may play this track on loop while waiting for the official released.
This are my predictions towards the story after ep 10U dont have to read if u dont want to so don't pour hate…
I really hope they won't go that route, because it'd make a lame plot twist, huge but it would also be too farfetched as CS & CM characterization really don't match to eachother. To me CS himself is already one of the best ML character I've seen with him being independent this way & I don't want to see the writing goes down with making him otherwise. If they do, they'll fell into that same old thrope many writer has fallen into, by making everything's connected just because they had no better idea. I believe Hong Sisters won't make such decision as the writing so far has been so good & unique as it is.
Didn't it was CM himself who captured YW though? And I don't buy that he had no other choice left to take other…
From ep 10 we see that MW is still expecting to go rampage & full revenge mode if she might see him again so I doubt if there're more to the story, there might be not. If there're more then it's either ain't something big that would change anything, or she doesn't know about it yet.
But whatever it was, tbh, I just don't care, her time is limited, our time too (only 6 ep left) & I don't think I'd want her & our precious time to go wasted with the story of that captain getting screwed. Like I said, I couldn't care for him any less & knowing his reason doesn't change his action, so why would I bother x).
CS will be the one who play important role that determine MW's future, not CM with whatever backstory he has in store.
Didn't it was CM himself who captured YW though? And I don't buy that he had no other choice left to take other…
True!! Though I do feel bad to those who suffer from SLS as their ship can't be sank any deeper than they already are. But to me the thought of "there must be a valid reason, he ain't evil" & all that defense/excuse they try to give him might send a totally wrong message & I find it uncomfortable to hear after all of those things we've seen he did to MW & YW.
I still hold on to a little possibility that CM wasn't as terrible as portrayed. Say, if it was a situation where…
Didn't it was CM himself who captured YW though? And I don't buy that he had no other choice left to take other than the choice he had taken, he can always tell MW instead of trapping her that way. Either way, I still think he approached MW with a purpose in mind & he did betrayed her at the end. So knowing his reason no matter what it was, no matter how valid it may seem for him, it doesn't make MW's pain from his betrayal becoming less painful.
My problem with him is, since his very first move I didn't find him as sincere as most ppl here might have been thinking, for the reason I might have said earlier (he kept flirting on MW no matter she like it or not, he never take her words seriously, taking her things without her consent, which to me a sign of a lesser respect on her from him) but I think many ppl fell for his "trap/charm" & think that what he did was romantic so they rushed in finding him an excuse. Tbh it's bothersome for me to hear because I feel like they defending the suspect instead of the victim, just because they find him charming. I personally won't defend or try to find him an excuse unless it was proven otherwise, he isn't that worthy for me, but I guess it's because I never fell for his charm & couldn't care for him any less, esp after his betrayal.
Am I the only one thinking CM isn't evil? I mean it just seems like he betrayed her, but if he was so evil he…
Tbh I don't get why ppl would think he ain't evil if he ain't kill MW? Why ppl think MW's life was more worthy than YW's? To me if he is not evil then he is an idiot to think MW will choose her own safety. I believe MW would rather die along with her people than living like that.
I don't see the chemistry between MW&CM ppl were talking about either, maybe because I never in that ship.
I personally didn't like his character since the very beginning, he's too obvious being flirty to MW which makes me doubt his sincerity from the beginning. (He took her wine without her permission, being overly confident that the lake has the better view with him besides her, keep asking her if she was looking for him etc, ugh, tbh I don't see his charm as I don't feel him treated her well with respect the way he shd have had). It means nothing even if he did ended up loving MW, he still betrayed her at the end so his reason doesn't matter to me anymore.
Woah! Haven't watched it yet. On which site did you watch episode 9? Anyway, your comment about the captain is…
I'm watching them live on tvkim, I just can't wait, lol. I didn't expect that either, we ain't sure yet though xD.
I remember on ep 1 there's a bunch of fireflies flew above Man Weol's trunk which then got took over by Mago. One firefly then stay over with Man Weol while all the other followed Mago. When MW moved her hotel on ep 9, this firefly was left behind in the old building & then met CS there. We get to see some kind of light reflection/shape of a (human? not clear tbh) but we didn't get to see any face yet so maybe it's not him either xD
Look who's back?!! So in ep 9 we see Yeon Woo was reincarnated as this one hot looking policeman <3 But I guess the captain was (cursed?)/reincarnated as firefly? Is that really him? xD
I think I'm going obsessed, I love how this drama keeps my mind busy with theories xP

And those angelic voice she had, it's truly a bless hearing her sings.
