Right? Not even a single tears dropped from me as it was that predictable.
The ending is pretty laughable, but well given how bad this drama has become, I expected nothing from them anyway.

Lol, yes their 8.8 rating here is just as ridiculous as the writing in this drama.
To me this drama is just a horribly written drama with terrible acting performance from L, a nonsense romance with no chemistry & ilogical act of the characters. Even LYS turns such a hypocrite at the later part too.

6 rating for them is considered as generous to me, let alone an 8.8, lol hilarious.

For an angel theme drama, a mini/web drama called Stars of the universe even did a waaay better portrayal & writing than Angel Last Mission.
The only good thing in this drama was SHS performance & dancing but imo I could just watch a little snippets of her ballet dancing & I'd loose nothing.

I admit their first few ep was amazing but then they just hit rock bottom & had become one of the worst and most overrated drama I've seen with that nonsense writing, nonsense romance & nonsense ending.

It's so hilarious to see both brothers going crazy over Min Hye Rin & Min Jae Hee. Aigoo Min Suk Kiee & Seo Yi Do-ssi just got bamboozled, lmao and that Detective Conan theme song tho ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Nahh, I seen it as them still getting to know at eachother. Dan just acknowledge her as a good person as before he just saw her as a mere object of his mission. I don't see any sparks nor him seeing her as a woman, I don't see the love & when did he start falling for her. And just because they often spend their time together, give and take or whatever you said, it doesn't mean that it has to be developed as romance, in real life people ain't like that. To me their relationship is just like a dependable brother & sister.
If there's chemistry I might buy it but to me none of the story, acting nor chemistry are there for me to believe they're in love. If you seen it then good for you, to each of their own.

Seo Yi Do is bae, Seo Yi Do is love, he is a dream man & one of my fav male lead ever. This drama also had the best love triangle I've seen xD <3

Exactly. It'a clear to me that whomever person who casted L trusted him more than he was capable of.
He's really lacking in portraying subtle emotion, like I can take a lot screenshot of that same blank stare face of his in a supposed to be multiple different take/ emotion scenes. His acting is either too much (so it feels rather fake) or blank & nothing in between.
I'm really trying to enjoy this drama but how am I able to if he dominant the screen & all I'm seeing is him struggling x_X
It's not helping either when the writing is rather poor, to me they still bickered like brother & sister and then bamm! They already desperate in love & ready to throw everything and fight deaths together, lol.
The only saving grace in this drama is SHS performance but idk if it's now even enough given how absurd the writing is in their recent episodes.
Thank goodness they had only 2 ep left or I don't think I'll manage to finish it.

The ridiculousness of writing in this drama is getting above and beyond everything I've ever watched.

I agree, most of the characters felt 2D & often we only see their action as a result but not their reason/ thought that led them into that action. No proper development/depth writing to me. The pace is kinda off too, they revealed everything in 1 ep but then they have nothing left in store so they just kept going in circles & dragged everythings down.

The way Dan-Yeon Seo think their love was different & better than Kang Woo-Seol Hee's is ridiculous to me. I know they're desperate & on denial but the way they behave & mocks JKW got me like, wow, look at them so full of themselves with pride, would hear no advise huh? Wonder if they're able to say the samething if they lived Kang Woo's life :/

Dan & Yeon Seo at least were lucky to have someone telling them in advance for what may have coming so they could prepare their hearts, plans, anything before hand.

Err to me, L is far from Excellence award, even still far to get his first Rookie award. This is my first time watching his works & tbh he is one of the worst I've seen so far. I agree with some people who says there's a lot decent actors who still got a 2nd male lead role or even supporting cast with a better acting than him. He need more experience & not in the level of male lead material just yet to me. And I'd obviously won't compare him with SHS, lol just no.
Also, don't think this is a plain hate for L, people just stating their opinion with reasons.

I actually feel the opposite, I'm impressed with her acting & find she had a great comedic skills/ timing to match with SSR here, as well as the ability to show sincere emotion in her eyes.
Not to mention I just discover her talent playing a real classical music on pianos in the latest bts (for her part in their 9th ep of 16 I think) which makes me impressed for her even more & think she'll shine a lot more in the future.

Agree, his acting at least isn't at the level of male lead material just yet, even the actress who played Nina & some other supporting actors had a better acting performance than him.

I don't even think Seo Yi Do can be anymore cray cray than he already is, but I guess he always beats his own records & nails every scene, lol, SSR really owns Seo Yi Do's character xD ❤️

I'd say his acting is the weakest & lacks depth among the other casts, I can feel him "acting" but I think the writing isn't helpful for his side either too, so yeah, it's making the gap even more obvious between him and SHS/LDG.

Yes, I agree. Tbh, I'm a fan of this PD since Q7D as he always give a beautiful portrayal & idk if it's his signature or not, but ALM&Q7D OSTs had that same angelic/soothing/heartwarming & heartwrenching vibe which's their thing I love the most.
This drama before was one of my fav this year too but I'm no longer able to say that anymore which's why I'm dissapointed how the writing has wasted so much of their potential.

The thing is, I don't even find any comment which refer to ppl mind those two years age gap between the leads. I don't even know SHS & L's age.
My point is, L's acting shows how he's still 'green' in this field, while SHS shows a more mature act, thus I personally see them as not being emotionally compatible & I don't see their chemistry other than being siblings.
(Tbh, I don't even mind with >20years age gap between Uhm Jung Hwa & Park Seo Joon in Witch romance, age doesn't matter if there's chemistry/them being emotionally compatible).
But I think some ppl hard to accept any criticsm for a drama they loved so some may like twisting other ppl's comment just to defend their beloved drama.
Idk why ppl get offended & call other ppl sexist just because they had different opinions.

This drama started out amazing, but then the story goes in circle & they soon fell as boring to mediocre to me, too bad as they had so much potential before but it was all ruined as both writing & chemistry doesn't work & all over the place.

After four episodes, nothing new in this drama anymore, they're focusing too much on the romance which to me was the least interesting part of this series.

If the writing is lacklustre, a drama may still able to be save by:
#1 chemistry or #2 acting
Sadly in this drama #1 is the thing that they're lacking the most, as for #2, well you could say that I'm still watching this because of how well/great SHS act in this, otherwise I'd have dropped this already.
Wish they could show us more interesting ballet performance than focusing too much on that nonsense romance with zero chemistry.

One of the best drama in years? Uhm, well, it was but sadly no more.
Right now they're more closer to one of the most dissapointing drama in years to me.
