I really like Chan Sung character too, esp in kdrama land, it's so refreshing to get such a male lead character…
To each of their own then..
I don't find Chun Myung's character (if it's the captain's name) compelling. I personally think he isn't as sincere as Yeon Woo & am still unsure whether he is trustworthy/ whether he had ulterior motive in getting close to Man Weol, thus I can only say he's cute but not more than that, esp not at the point of ready to ship him with MW, lol sorry, Chan Sung ftw xp.

I don't feel Chun Myung & Man Weol's chemistry either, esp not more than Chan Sung & Man Weol's.
Chan Sung & Man Weol had the better chemistry to me & the better pairing given how open they're with eachother, while Chan Myung & Man Weol's felt more artificial, just because of their environment/set up.
But then again I rarely fell for SLS either :P

I don't get why people feel a strong SLS in this one, maybe because I don't really like that Captain's character, he's cute yes but that's all, I don't feel his sincerity (I liked Yeon Woo's character more than him) & I don't feel the chemistry between the captain & Man Wol that ppl were talking about either, the flashback part to me felt more just like a set up.

I loved this drama for the present YJG & IU's time & don't really care that much for the past/ flashback plot. I love IU & YJG character & their bantering as Man Wol & Chan Sung. They're completing eachother really well & I find it's refreshing to see them always being honest with their feelings at eachother.

One thing that I wouldn't want to see in this drama is Chan Sung being his (y'know who) reincarnation. I don't want him to be his shadow, he is much stronger & appealing the way he is rn. As a gentle caring person but not a pushover, a sincere & an honest man who know what he wants.

I liked this drama more than I think I would which come as a surprise to me, I'm glad to see that the relationship between Man Wol & Chan Sung were developed/growth naturally, they're bonding as themselves, instead of some sudden miracle intervention childhood/past connection (which I'm very much sick off seeing it in almost every kdramas rn).

The best romcom from 2019 for me.
It's hilarious & had one of the best ML character & love triangle I've seen so far.

Last but not least:
Beautiful drama with beautiful messages.
Seo Yi Do's conversation with his mom in the last ep filled with so many quotable lines.
This drama somehow also reminds me of Encounter(2018 with SHK & PBG), only this one is more like a lighthearted/hilarious/fantasy ver of it, but the poem, meaningful references are there.

Am gonna miss Seo Yi Do, Min Ye Rin & Min Jae Hee so much.
This drama hv also made me discovered Go Won Hee & Shin Sung Rok's great acting talent, will surely look forward to their next project <3

I found the first 6 episodes to be boring. Does that mean this drama is not for me? Since I've seen many people…
Well it does goes down hill to rockbottom after those awesome 6 ep.
The plot turns non existence, story goes on circle with force romance & writer-nim has no logic left when writing the rest of the episodes.

So the most important question is, do you like the romance between the OTP so much to the point whether they're making sense or not is no longer important?
Unless your answer is yes then I don't think it'd be worth it to continue watching.

Is it bad I ship him with both the same lol that's how good of an actor/actresses they are........
Meee... I love Jae hee, but I love Yerin just as much & worry that I won't be seeing her anymore after her perfume runs out, gahhh I can feel the dilemma Seo Yi Do's having rn, I'm torn x_X

So it is not a Happy ending as everyone said then.. :((
Oh, it's a happy ending for sure, but it's a nonsense happy ending one with glaring plot holes, so some (including me) prefer them to stick with the unhappy one, either it's a bittersweet, sad ending or whatever, as long as it does make sense, unlike those nonsense happy ending path they're choosing right now.

Sadly, to me their first 4ep was the only good thing in this drama. I feel like giving a 10 for those 4ep only…
Exactly, it's so comical indeed X'D

Curious how all the people saying "just another fat shaming drama" and dropping it after 2 eps think now, when…
Ikr, it's such an early judgement when it's only their first week.
This drama is so good, my fav this year & imo they handled her issue really well & obviously not another fat shaming show that ppl'd think of.
I can't believe it's already near their final week.
What an amazing & enjoyful ride it has been. Am not ready to say good bye just yet, my Monday would never be the same again.

Is it only me or you guys also regret watching this drama? ????
No you're not the only one, I believe there's alot of people who felt the same way like you do, me included.
This is the most dissapointing drama of the year for me.
And if I can turn back time & choose, I'd only watch the snippets of their dancing part no need to watch the whole drama & wasting my time trying to understand their plot as the writer doesn't even know/understand her own rules & how to stick with it, a total mess with so many inconsistencies & plot holes, the writing is just.. absurd, RIP logic.

Yeon Seo never died, and I don't think Dan ever sacrified his life for Yeon Seo, unless you think killing Runa is his sacrificial (& things that came later as his consequences). But seriously, the writing is just so absurd, I don't even think the writer knows her own rules, everything is just inconsistence & feels nonsense to me.
Like, an angel killing a human? What makes him different & less evil than Runa who wants to kill Yeon Seo then. Nothing can justify his action & that scene alone should never be romanticized at all. If he use Yeon Seo's happiness as his excuse, then Runa also got Nina's as her excuse. An eye for an eye? Is that what his God teaches Dan to do?
What makes Dan & Yeon Seo's love better than Ji kang woo & Seol hee's to deserve their happy ending? There's a major failure on the writing department to me.

Lol, true, he got only a few minute scene with Seol hee, but that scene alone is way more memorable than the whole drama/entire Dan&LYS scenes for me X'D

Great then, I did enjoy the beginning part of this drama too, my fav one would be JKW & SH's dance at sunsets with Pray on background, one of the reason why I gave them a 10 (back then).
Happy watching!

Well, am not remember exactly the episodes number but after like half of the series the story just went on circles, nothing new happens anymore, only nonsense after nonsense.

I don't want to ruin your enjoyment so I won't go into details as it'd be too spoilerly & I can write a long essay here for how it dissapoints me, lol.

If you're liking it/or loving it till the end then good for you, I wish I could feel the same, but to me there're too many issues, inconsistencies & bad writing here for me to be able to feel that way.

The OSTs are great though, Pray is one of my fav ost this year too, and SHS acting is excellent as always. Though those were the only good thing I can say for this drama, as I find LDG is underutilize in here too esp at that later half.

He did, JKW commited suicide after Seol Hee's death, only it was too late for him as Seol hee had died before him while Yeon Seo did not end up died.
The writer didn't even able to keep/understand her own theory = bad writing to me.

For JKW & Seol hee:
- they're married >> God punished JKW>> Seol Hee protected him >> Seol hee's dead >> JKW turns human >> JKW keep commiting suicide multiple times but somehow keep coming back alive/immortal & being punished to lived his life as a human (without his other half).

For Dan & Yeon Seo:
- they're married>> No one punished Dan >> Dan wanted to kill a human but getting stabbed instead >> Yeon Seo try to commit suicide though ended up fail >> Yeon Seo was stabbed protecting Dan but didn't die >> Dan reached his remaining time & should be dissipated >> somehow able to coming back alive & becomes human??

Sounds weird & nonsense to me @@

Exactly, I'm more of a generous person when it comes to give rating actually,
but w/ this drama the most generous I can give of is a 5.5 (it's ironic since I already gave them a 10 before it turns this way).

One reason is for what you've said above (oh what could've been, what a waste of talents & promising start) & the second one is because the story turns such nonsense that infuriates & insulting to the brain xD.

Right. It feels like after those awesome 4 ep, they change the writer & director altogether.

Like, why bother to give a promising background of the characters but ended up ain't developing/using it at all?

The villains are just written as crazy & pure evil almost comical, so poorly written in a way I can't believe normal people would go such length without enough reason.

Those cutesy & sudden romance ain't doing anything to me either since none of those action they did I find believable given how absurd the pacing is.

Obviously I need a more solid story, plot, development, character's arc & background to be able to give them an 8.8 let alone a 10, while the writer here doesn't even know/understand/keep her own theory --"

Well, what makes that different than what Ji kang Woo & Seol Hee has been done then?
She gave him her life, verci versa. I see no difference.

Just started this now and it could be the first fantasy romance I like in a long time.First 4/32 eps have been…
Sadly, to me their first 4ep was the only good thing in this drama. I feel like giving a 10 for those 4ep only and giving a 1 for their remaining ep, the story going on circles & it went downhill to rockbottom after that @_@
