It's not, it's just they had a lot of mystery to be solved & viewers just confused as they give a lot of puzzle to be completed as early as ep 2. So far this one is one of my fav among 7 currently airing kdrama I watched, the plot is different & intriguing :D

The day when Ha Ram's mother married with her husband they got an accident, her husband died & a grim reaper took over his body because he accidentaly look at HR's mother eyes (just as the narratives at the beginning of ep2), thus Ha Ram was the product of a human & grim reaper, that's why she's able to see the shadow of death & also the reason why her mother hated her father.

The real Mo Gang died after the shot & another reaper (Black) took over his body to investigate his own death (Black), thus we see two form of Mo Gang, the real Mo Gang now is only a spirit?

I'm curious to know what mystery Mo Gang want to solve that somehow connected to her current GF/wife? Why he had that room full of secret? And who is after him, who hired that assassins? Who is this spider tattoo guy who killed HR's father, is he a reaper too?

I wonder how will they continue the stories now that the real Mo Gang "died", will he follow black everywhere with his spirits form? X'D

I wish I could see more Mo Gang than Black (because for me Black is like a weird ahjussi, lol) & hope somehow at the end Mo Gang will be able to survive :').

Wow, this is an interesting show, yes ep 2 left me confused/puzzled but I want to know more of their stories.
My theories are down below:

I understand her frustation but I don't get her not knowing that he is not ready financially & yet expected him to buy a new house. I mean, they've been dating for 7 years not 7 months, I'd understand her if they're just dating recently. I guess they're not that close despite 7 years relationship?

Maybe it's only me, but I don't love this as much as I wanted to be or as much as ppl here seems to love this. I feel like watching Lucky romance all over again (without the superstition thing). While I like their idea (marriage contract, struggle in life in the 30s, etc) but they didn't give me the feels that I was expecting, idk if it's because the directing/editing or maybe it's just not for me.
BTMFL & revolutionary love both were the one I anticipated the most but sadly I guess so far it didn't meet my expectation :'(
Am hoping it'd get better though & will continue watching this.

The highlight of ep 14: the seatbelt, Woo Tak nice abs & minisoo ppl. X'D

Yes please (=>.<=), hehe, y'know with their new format (splitting an ep), it brings more disadvantage to them because viewers will feel like watching 1 ep when it's actually only a half of it so ppl might drop a drama by only seeing a half of ep.
I really hope they can bring the old format back :")

Tbh, I almost dropped this one on ep 1 for the same reason you had mentioned (ep 1 had her as their focused), but I give them more chance & now on ep 8 (or ep 4 in their old format) I love this so much, all I can say is this one is a bit slow in the beginning but once you passed the first few ep, you'll get warmed up & came to love all the characters. I had to admit that I dislike her for the same reason but since her action towards Gong ji won on the recent ep I found pretty cute/relatable so I like her more now, hope you can give them more chance :)

Gosh, Kim Ji suk, he is hot af in here (♡♡) + the way he talks, smiles.. his eyes.. are just too sweet, I can't < /3 ~
At first I was unsure if I'd came to love this since the first few ep were a bit slow but now am loving it & really can't wait to watch their next ep <333.

All the new airing drama is killin' me, so many drama to watch so little time. This & the package surprisingly become my new fav along with WYWS. The rest of the currently aired were undeniably good though, it's really hard to choose which one is your fav x'D

This drama caught me off guard, I didn't expect I'd love this that much & impatiently waiting for their next ep to come, San Maru=❤ , he is so adorable though a bit "pabo" at times x'D too cute

I had a mix feeling about this, loving the cast & characters, the mad dog team is just awesome, but am not sure if am liking the plot, I mean sure I love the twist on ep 1, sad backstory on ep 2 & curious to know Kim Min Jun motive & purpose but I felt something is missing, idk if it's because the directing/CGI.. I'll need to watch a few more ep to know if I'd love this or not

Wow 8.9 already? Is this really that good? this is not on my ptw list just because I don't like both leads acting (especially Go Ah ra), but it's OCN (they're great in building a dark/suspense series) so idk if I shd watch this, guess I'll wait until a few more ep in & look at the feedback in the comment section later then.

Ok where do I start, at first I don't really like the beginning part of the pilot episode, like it was way too over the top. But, as soon as Sora & Siwon both were together on screen it got so much fun to watch. I know Siwon's character is a sly & spoiled dude here, but seeing his dimples how can I get mad at him? XD we'll be seeing his character development soon (or later?) I believe.
At first I was afraid that I'd ended up disliking Gong Myung's character in here too, from reading his character description before & upon seen him in BOTWG (disliked his character so much there), but am glad that his character here is easy to relate (or root for?) thus I liked him.
Oh & I love Sora's character so much, some heroine with a spine? I'm In!
The story itself may not be unique nor offered something new but it was expected (you could tell just by looking at the synopsis).
However, the characters & casts are lovable if not best & the story itself was fun to watch, so I'd say no more & just look forward to their next ep <3

First time watching AOY so I can't compare both of them. For the 2d season yes the story may not perfect & have its flawed but still I enjoy watching every single ep from beg till end, love the belle epoque girls, a 9 out of 10 from me. Writer-nim, director-nim, season 3 juseyo~ ❤
