Hyeon Oh's father died when his house burned in fire & left him alone with his debt, Moon's father went missing, they are neighbors & not blood related.

Hyeon Oh & the loan shark grannies make a contract where she'll pay for his tuition in exchange of him taken care of her & all her sisters as they're getting older. Hyeon Oh ask the granny to take Moon's siblings too just until they grow up in which the granny refused at first coz it'll only cost her more than gain something from it (unlike HO's, Moon's father almost pay all his debt off & Moon's doesn't hv any obligation to take care of the grannies later either)

But HO insists & told granny that he'll pay whatever additional debt it cost her for her to take them in.

When can we expect them to air it? Has it finished their filming yet?

The FL is just so stupid & useless, I can't 🥲
YZX carried this whole drama on his back, I can always trust him to always deliver such a great range & emotions to make me root for his character completely and any kind of drama is worth it to see him & his acting alone.

Idk, despite the SFL here was written as "a villain" in most of the episodes & did some unforgiven things, I find at a certain point she love the ML more than the FL ever does no matter how her betrayal has tainted it or how toxic her love/ obsession has turned to be.
And I find it better if I take this drama as a tragic fate between them than him & the FL coz her love is so gullible that sometimes it makes me wonder if she truly loves him.

Although admittedly the FL also did some remarkable things for him (which I appreciate) & yes she's been through alot, but this is just what I honestly feel about them.
I keep liking & hating them together everytime they patched up & then seeing him having another round of being miserable all over again.

Ep 20 I think sorta confirm she never actually read it though although the misunderstanding seems already cleared up 😩😅

This is actually my guess too (as their twist) but I still can't grasp the idea/reason why she need to fake it & put Feita's life as a threat 🥲

I feel safer we'll be having a HE when his suicide note is on her hand but now that it's not, ngl it's making me worried that she'll only gonna read it later at his last, despite future ep spoiler looking promising for a walk towards HE.

I think people love Ju Yeon with Hye Ri more than his character ever like/ love Hye Ri 😆

Idk, I don't even think his character here is being written as loving Hye Ri, to me it's more like he's intrigued by her, curious about her & fondness feeling of seeing someone so different in mind yet somehow feel related to her, but not in love just yet.
He even denied it himself when Hye Ri asked him if he keep thinking of her & find her pretty.
The latest ep to me shows him more as being confused & puzzled than heartbroken.

And I mean, idk why he shd be together with the impossible Hye Ri that doesn't even real when his better choice Hye Yeon is right beside of him.

Ep 18 is out *am watching it rn

You understood his character completely, ep 6 were meant to show us his character background for people to understand why he is the way he is right now. Why his words often harsh, I mean how can not he? He only has a gambler dad who's arguably has ever take care of him, gambler dad's friends who often visits & may talk shits here and there, a loan shark grannie & her alcoholic sisters, all these kind of people are those who around him when he grow up without mother figure who can embrace him & softens him up.

His character is flawed, but so does Eun Ho & others.
So instead of trying to nitpicking every flaw of his & labelled him as a horrible being, it'd be better if people can at least try to understand where his character is coming from, give him a chance to grow as a person & learn from his mistake or from something he's never fond of,
instead of judging & keep belittling every good side of him.

Coz that's actually the beauty of this drama.

It seems a ploy for upcoming ep (the scene hasn't arrived yet they're not deleted) but they def won't be the ending couple, don't worry 😄

Ahahah don't worry it seems a ploy for upcoming ep but her & SML def won't be the ending couple coz the love between the leads already settled for quite a while (they developed it since early ep)
& the FL isn't the type who easy to fall in love either, she only act different (soft) to the ML

My guess is HE, I hv a bunch of sizzling hot romantic scene stills of the couple that hasn't been shown even now as of ep 17/26 🤭

Yes, the drama is beautiful with symbolism & layers to peel, flawed characters that intertwined one and another, how each one of them hv their own lil' dark secrets that they can't share with anyone, their psychological issue. It's a pity if people focusing too much on the fake love triangle when the drama was never about it to begin with.

I think there's more to it, but she seem fine & Hyeri doesn't get to present for work either so maybe she really didn't?
Also, idk if I remember it wrong, but the voiceover on ep 6 preview where he ask someone (sounds like her psychiatrist) if "her case" is because of him, hasn't been shown in ep 6 yet, right?

My friend's big sister dated her then exhusband for more than 15 years yet their marriage only last for months coz she only discover his mother's & family when they got married and realize their difference is unrepairable. Not common maybe but still plausible even for longterm relationship.

Agreed, that too maybe coz he has never been in a situation where people love him unconditionally,
Like he has to be a famous announcer as a condition for his mother would want to look at him, obedient teenager for his gambler dad & debtor grannies,
so it's something that he couldn't grasp or understand just yet

My aunt was diagnosed w/ alzheimer & I saw her process both gradual and drastic change till her passing & I too hv a parent who has numerous health problem both past present, going through surgeries, constant medication hence why I feel related to Hyun Oh's matters.

Having sleepless nights of worry & emotional distress of seeing someone we love being sick. It'll drain you out both emotionally & pyshically so his concern isn't something that people shd belittling.
Esp given Eun Ho mentally isn't somewhat stable either.

Hyeon Oh, he makes me cried that moment when Eun Ho storms into his room, vent and leave without giving him a chance to speak or explain.

He has a habit of surpressing his feelings (thanks to his trash, irresponsible parent) & don't have the ability to put nice words and so awkward with it coz no one in his surrounding ever teach him that or put a good example for him to learn.
So yes when he love, he do it awkwardly & can only show his genuine feelings through care.

For a boy who grew up without parent's care, it's amazing how he can show so much care & responsibility even to debts that's not his, when no one obliged him to.

His burden & worryness for not being able to give the marriage Eun Ho wanted is valid. Speaking from experience, it requires both of your mental & physical attention to nurse a sick parents/ elder. Including numerous hospital visits, administration, their daily needs etc that will surely drain you out, esp if you are the one & only, sole caretaker. Even a simple thing like keeping your job will be hard when you're taking so many leave for it.

The granny with dementia, might soon loose their nerve control, they'll forget who they are, to even their face & might poo & pee anywhere. It's not that simple. And he's not only hv 1, 2, 3, 4 but 5 if we also include one who has just passed away.

You'd think the Moon siblings can help him out? sure, when they're single, once they get married, hv spouse w/ their own mind & concern, hv their own family to taken care of, all will be different. Esp when they're not bonded with it, unlike Hyeon Oh.
This is the reality.

And Hyeon Oh doesn't have the leverage from being a son, who can take care of them partially or when he has the time & get pardoned, he is obliged to (as I believe they even make a written contract out of it).

So yes, his concern, his pain, is real.

No matter how you try to make it sounds better, no matter how he love & care for them as they're his own parents & will totally give everything he might for them.
Having a sick inlaw is a nightmare to any daughter's inlaw.
And he loves Eun Ho enough to not put her into this situation he lived in.
