There're two interpretations that he escaped and got a happy ending with his girlfriend, the other is he died and was dreaming about his future life with his girlfriend. You can take which one you think is the better ending. The ending was an open ending that viewers can decide for themselves whether it's happy or sad.

Yeah i also feel sorry for bian luohuan. However i also love jinzhao as well so i was able to watch to the end to find out what happens. This drama does have lots of sad moments but i think i don't mind angst so i don't mind sad ending. Luckily the ending wasn't sad and can be consider as happy.

I also love action, another drama that i like and it's also a drama of xukai is snow eagle lord. I used to read manga but haven's pick up any in a long time.

I assume the step grandmother is related to fl by marriage, while ml is her blood related grandson so both ml and fl are not related.

There're many osts i like but i think miracle is my favorite because i felt the meaning of the ending made lots of sense for jinzhao and qi. I also like indefinite and that song fits really well with ming xiu and her master. For blh there was an ending song that fits really well with him that i don't know the name, but i think indefinite can also applied to him as well.

This drama does have lots of haters from when it first aired. Don't mind it as long as we enjoy the drama and rate the drama how we want that all is matters

Me too, there are also wan peng and fu xin bo in it as well. Since they don't need to promote their drama since it already finished, they're more laid back and just being themselves. Although does anyone feel both xukai and esther bickering just like their characters in sf6 ^^

Drama only has 36 eps, who was your favorite character? This drama does have lots of deaths but in my opinion all of their deaths are meaningful and not wasted because they all consciously made the choice.
