I have a total different response from you. Are we watching the same drama, both xukai and ester have great chemistry and they characters supposed to know each other only three years after losing all their memories. And for two actors who are much older than the characters they're playing, they embody both of their characters quite well that we truly believe they're siblings from the first two episodes. Great start to the drama, if you don't like it you're welcome to drop it anytime. As for me their adventure just beginning, this is an adaptation of a game and it's what a game would be like where you starting from scratch and getting to know the characters and plot as they are introduced and the people they interact with. I love rpg game, so this is very similar to the experience I had playing those type of game. This drama is meant for a younger audience but can be enjoy by older audiences, if it's not for you then there's another sword and fairy maybe it will better to your liking.

Oh I didn't know tli is going to be on Netflix. I also want alp to be on Netflix when I first watched it. I think viewers could request the drama to be on Netflix but I think it's too late now. Alp cinematography is so good, too bad it gotten so much hate when it first aired and scare away potential watchers. Imagine watching this drama on a higher resolution TV the experience would be even better ^^

I think people here are trying to correct the rating because some haters are rating this drama down to manipulate the rating by rating all the eps even though they haven't air. It's your choice how you want to rate the drama though, you can just rate the drama as you watch the eps. This drama started out at 8.0 and dropped to 7.6 and now sit at 7.8 so it's clearly done by haters who don't watch the drama. I do think the rating for this drama is too low even though most of the comments are positive.

I don't watch many dramas that adapted from game so I don't know how this adaptation going to be. I only seen the first sword and fairy but I didn't know anything about the game. I'm just taking it as it's and enjoying the drama adaptation ^^

I watched the first two episodes and I have to say xukai and ester really embody their characters. If it's not for them I'm not sure it will work because their characters are just too cute. I think the drama is aim at a younger audiences but can still be enjoy by older audiences if they're not so particular about the main leads playing characters that are much younger than their actual age. The two of them acted exactly like two siblings fighting with each other and being noisy. I think ester really suited her character being she's cute and naive but also very smart, xukai character acted like the older brother while being much more crafty and just looking out for his sister. I find it funny that they both took the same birthday because they didn't remember anything about themselves. I can tell they care a lot about each other and ester character is really dependent on xukai character because she trusts him completely. What a strong bond they have and to think they only spend three years together. Also if I'm not mistaken qi is stronger than jin zhao because she's using only magic in her fighting, while jin zhao fighting with his own strength and he's seems to be weaker between the two.

No it doesn't change, it's still the same ending. He walked her up to the alter to the bridegroom. I know it's confusing because the ending doesn't make it clear, but you can tell who is the bridegroom by his dress and also him giving her flower.

No he didn't get with her, she's in love with her fake brother and married him.

If you know the original korean drama that the movie adapted, she died because of her illness after she married her brother. So in the movie she died and he was left wandering alone.

It's not a big deal since it's untrue. Cent has lots of these rumors popping up to bring down an actor/actress after they get some popularity. I thought it was suspicious as it was the day before his drama aired that this rumor popped up to bring down his reputation. We all know how china is when it comes to their views on actors/actresses personal lives so in order to work in china they have to be a paragon of virtue otherwise they will be cancelled or they will not survive in this business as many actors/actresses had experienced.

I think you got it wrong, zhao lusi character married her brother not xukai character, he only walked her up the alter to the real bridegroom lol 😂

I guess so, I just hope he has one or more hit dramas this year so those haters of his can't said all his dramas are trash to put him down. I think some people who don't know xukai actually buy into this bs.

I wonder if it has to do with that rumor about him. It was released conveniently before sf6 aired. I feel bad for him, this drama is a popular game but the release of two sword and fairy are dividing the attention of the fans as a result the heat index is not as high as both dramas are competing against each other.

I been saying the same thing. Lots of people seem to have completed the drama even though drama only air to ep 15 :)

I do agree about the editing is one of the legend problem, but it's not the only one. Like not being able to tell between night and day is another problem, or the many repeated scenes and other personal reasons. I heard it was supposed to have less episodes, but then was forced to extended the drama to make it longer is what caused the mess. I was thinking if the drama has ended at the main leads wedding it would've been a much better drama. I don't know how much control the director has, but the legend confusing ending is what caused many to rated the drama lower so he has to take some of the blame. Another xukai drama that has the same problem with the ending is loss in Kunlun mountain, I think there must be lots of scenes that were on the editing floor because it gave such a cop out ending that can be interpreted as happy or sad depending on the audiences. However I was so disappointed because I feel most of the importance scenes were cut because of censorship and I will never know what truly happened. That's why I like wonderland of love for giving us a complete happy ending ^^

Leads chemistry building up as you watch. I think this drama has a very natural chemistry between the leads ^^
