I don't know your logic here, qin shi was her own person, she does whatever she wants to do including working with her ex, as a result yang hua gotten jealous many times, but he never forbid her to stop working with him. Their agreement in their arrange marriage is to not get involved in each other business, otherwise the other party can ask for a divorce. Yang hua and qin shi was on a break, and even if they aren't his helping yao yao does not has anything to do with qin shi since they both made the agreement to not interfere in each other business.

What you're saying is yao yao has to hide herself from her company by moving to another country. Why should she do that when she wasn't in the wrong. Her beef was with that employer of her company, and she chose to go after him instead of quitting her job. She moved to Australia so my guess is her company also has a base there and she built her life in Australia that means she has a license to work base on her degree from there.

I'm not sure what is your problem with the acting. For me the acting of the main and most of the support characters are good, but again I watched and didn't skip any eps. In my opinion it's the better xanxia compare to those other popular ones that got higher rating.

Skipping that many eps you won't understand anything. To enjoy this drama you've to start from the beginning, for me this one has one of the best plot in term of xanxia genre.

Qin shi quit because her company asked her to drop yao yao's case. I really like qin shi for not dropping yao yao's case because she made me realize she is much more than her career. Like li dai who took yao yao's case, they saw an injustice was being done, and refused to back down. It's a classic case of women helping women when we're in trouble. It's not just about being able to find a job, yao yao was also made to pay a huge fee if she were to quit her company. The case they had was against that employer of the company and not against the company anymore, so I assume her company also has a base in Australia and she's working there instead of in china.

I guess we have very different thinking about yang hua. To me yang hua is always honest and very bad in social situations. He went to the bar for qin shi not for yao yao, yao yao actually has to pull him along in order to make qin shi jealous. I don't think yao yao meant anything other than to make qin shi feels a bit threatened so she will be more appreciative of yang hua not to cause trouble for them. I think yang hua also think the same that why he went along with her. I thought it was really sweet of him to help his ex out since she was in trouble and needed the help. They didn't just dated before, they were also childhood friends.

And I suppose qin shi didn't also help her ex when she asked him to work with her. I would assume even after their breakup they're still consider friends so that's why she still working with him and even help him in some cases, it was work but it did make them spend a lot of time together. Li dai asked yang hua for help not realizing yang hua and qin shi already gotten a divorce, yang hua decided to help because he knew qin shi want to help yao yao, and I assume yang hua also wants to help yao yao as a friend. Yang hua did help a lot since the guy qin shi hire as an investigator was also working for him, and he helped her behind the scene. Why do you want her to be working for a company that only used her, I'm glad she finally quit that company and went out to work on her own.

Also yang hua is not the type of guy to make such a complicated plan to make qin shi jealous, he was only thinking to give qin shi time to think over her choices. If anything, anyone who looks at yang hua would've realizes he's totally in love with her, I think yao yao also seeing qin shi being so confident in yang hua's feeling for her that why she made qin shi feels threatened by lying to her.

Yang hua didn't come to the bar to pick up yao yao, it was just a coincidence they meet at the bar. I think he came after hearing qin shi asking on the phone whom he would choose between her and yao yao, and from his expression he was totally confused why she would ask such a question. I don't think they have anything plan, it was just yao yao seeing a chance to make qin shi jealous, and she asked yang hua to go along, she probably thought she helping yang hua by making qin shi felt threatened by her. I also think yang hua called her brothers and that's why they came looking for her. He doesn't think that far ahead, and didn't realize qin shi actually believe yao yao when she told her he was going with her, otherwise he would've wait for qin shi to come to the airport, but instead he left right after seeing yao yao to the airport just like any friend would. Yao yao even asked him for a hug and he refused saying he already has a girlfriend.

You're right but she should've tell him about what was going on. If yang hua didn't have trust in her, wu fei could've ruin their relationship when wu fei send that pic of her and the bad guy to him. Yang hua instead chose to trust in qin shi and wait for her to come to him with the truth, but she never told him and he found out from tjh and actually figured it out himself that her company was the one who put her up to it. About the ex girlfriend, he did tell her the truth, it was all in the past, and he only kept it from her because he was afraid it would ruin their relationship if he told her about it. Yang hua is kind of dumb when it comes to relationship that's why he took advice from his friend and father. He wasn't trying to be evasive, to him his relationship with his ex was in the past he hasn't had anymore contact with her beside that first meeting after being apart for so long. When he's with his ex, there's an awkwardness between them because of how they broke up in the past that's why he felt guilty over her and that's all. Yang hua also asked qin shi about her ex after seeing them together, and she was just as evasive, she tried to tell him it was all in the past, but to yang hua qin shi is not over her ex and is only using their fake marriage to avoid him. He's giving qin shi a chance to confront tjh about the past, and is risking his relationship with her by giving her freedom to make her choice. That's what I think he was doing when divorcing qin shi. He's giving qin shi the choice to be with him or go back to tjh.

You're right he did keep things from her too. But they were always able to talk it out and made up after finding out the truth. In yang hua defense, he just took bad advice from his friend when he lie about his ex. There was just one time I don't agree with qin shi hiding about being black mail by a bad guy, or going with him on business without letting yang hua know about it. Yang hua even got into an accident worried about her.

I think you were like qin shi and was mislead by yao yao. There was no arraignment between yao yao and yang hua, yang hua is just really awkward and not very good in social situations and many times he would listen to bad advice from his friend. The reason why he didn't say anything about his ex is because it never even occurred to him to get back together with his ex. Qin shi asked him about his feeling for yao yao and he said it was all in the past. Yang hua is just the way you see him. He has no subterfuge, he's totally in love with qin shi and nobody else.

They marriage was fake but their feeling for each other was real, both of them never take their rings off. She has always been hiding behind her fake marriage, so he gave her a chance to make a clean break with her ex or go back to him. Yang hua is not an ordinary guy, not many guys are like him, but the same can be true about qin shi not many girls are like her. In the end it was through their love and trust of the other that made them choose each other and didn't give up on their relationship.

Their relationship started on a lie that's true. They kept it a secret from her parents so her parents didn't know the truth until he came to tell them that. If he wants to lie to them, why does he even need to confess the truth about their arrangement to her parents. Also he didn't leave with another woman, I actually thought he went there after receiving a call from her, so it was just an coincidence that he met his ex there. I think his ex was just trying to make qin shi jealous by making it looks like yang hua still has feeling for her when she knew all along yang hua only has feeling for qin shi, she was helping him by showing qin shi that yang hua is not so available in order to make qin shi realizes how much qin shi cares for yang hua. I always felt yao yao has a good intention because she knew yang hua is waiting for qin shi to make up her mind about her feeling. Yang hua didn't answer her question when she asked him on the phone because he got confused with her question, it never even cross his mind to get back with his ex. Was she truly honest and fair towards him, she was always focused on her career before anything else. He was the one who chose to go back to the office after realizing he wants a life with her. I always felt yang hua was too perfect, so I'm actually glad to see him being selfish and wanting more, acting selfish for a change instead of being silence even though he was so jealous of her interaction with her ex. Yang hua has always been honest about his feeling and that's why he confronted her. Yes he risk losing her by divorcing her, but he finally realizes he wants a relationship with her, rather being in a fake marriage. They were on a break, but in fact both of them still care about the other. I don't consider him hanging with his ex any different than her hanging with her ex lol, how would you feel seeing another guy being so close to someone you like and even asked her to marry him. In a way I thought yang hua was really generous all along since he was able to tolerate qin shi hanging out with her ex all the time. I guess seeing them together and him finding out what they had was a fake marriage was the last straw, so he decides to risk it and put their feeling to the test to see whether qin shi would choose him because he doesn't care whether they're married or not he still wants to be with her.
