In bts, it looks to me like xukai character going to be using two swords. That's very cool, his fight scenes in court lady when he was using two swords I really enjoy that. Can't wait to see his character in action ^^

Also would recommend ancient love poetry and his other historical dramas. Once upon a time in lingjian mountain is also a favorite of mine, it's a comedy and xukai was really smart and funny in that one ^^

Loss in Kunlun mountain is S-class drama, while she and her perfect husband is S+ from my understanding.

Please don't say that. It just crazy the amount of bad publicity an actor/actress can get over something so simple as tax evasion or taking a simple photo because their reputation got pull down and their dramas got delayed indefinitely. Case in point yuan Bing Yan, I thought the tax evasion case wasn't that serious like deng luan since it's not her who do the tax evasion, it was a company that was associated with her, but due to that she gotten badmouthed and her new drama that she was supposed to cooperate with yangmi didn't go through, and the drama picked another actress. The c-entertainment is a cuthroat business that's for sure.

I'm an older viewer, so this is not true at all. I enjoy this drama so much more than ten miles and ashes of love. It's a drama to immerse yourself in, it took me a long time to get over it. Everyone has their preference on what they consider as their best drama, this is my top one.

I think the only thing I dislike was the ending. Even though sfl became so unlikable, I felt her character progress from such a sweet girl to a power hungry woman was kind of interesting nonetheless. All the characters for me are interesting, and that's how I was able to enjoy the drama like reading a book, as long as I like some of the characters in the show, no matter how boring it gets I can still finished the drama. For this show there were so much dialogues, but I was able to sit through it all, and still enjoy the atmosphere the drama gives, just thinks it's the old school style that I like. Just wish it has follows novel and didn't have so much censorship that kind of ruin the narrative :(

I'm also a fan of xukai, and I love his recent works. All of the characters he played are so different from each other from fiys an eSport player to an immortal in ancient love poetry playing three different roles, playing a prince/ emperor in royal feast now to a doctor/martial artist in loss in Kunlun mountain. Hope to see him in more diverse roles ^^

I could never tell if it was his voice or not. Like in falling into your smile, I was sure it was his voice since I heard him use it in bts, but I was later told he was dubbed. Still now I don't know how to check to know whether it was his real voice.

The first 16 eps were just introduction. The eps after that are the main story, you will get to know who are the main characters because they'll get reintroduce again. It's a very good drama if you have the patience to watch to the end, because after that, you will want to rewatch it again ^^

Lots of things you said were just assumptions about bixi. He's a minor character, and not a very important one either. From my understanding of his character, he was able to be nice to houchi because he has nothing against her. But when he was given a choice between doing the right thing or going along with Jin yang and wuhuan and turned on houchi he took it. Why because wuhuan is the heavenly empress, Jin yang is the heir to the heavenly emperor, he clearly choose the ones with the higher authorities; it's actually very common how you called a means to an end, it doesn't matter what tactics you used to get the desire results, some people will make compromise and choose the shorter road rather than going the longer road in order to get what they want. Bixi was promised by wuhuan that she will help the humans with her power, he must be desperate for her help if he would resort to such underhanded tactics. He did regrets his actions in the end once he realizes he was fooled by wuhuan, however you can't blame him, it must be the first time he got a promise from the heavenly empress, and gotten her agreement to help the humans in the process.

If you like any of the characters you can keep watching to know what happens to them. It's a slow pace drama that has lots of talking, what I like is it depiction of old school wuxia. The fashion, being it's a mixed of western and old fashioned styles, ding yunqi and wushuang are a very good looking couple ^^

You can't really compare houchi to other gods and goddesses. It was a known fact her power is weak, everyone and anyone was mocking her. Having a god status means you're a powerful being, but with houchi everyone only afraid of her father, she was only able to enjoy her god status because of her father. She was disrespected by even a servant of the heavenly empress because of her lowly power. The only way to get any respect in the heaven realm is to have power or to have a god status. Bixi is not a god hence Jin yang was being disrespectful towards him. We don't know if he loses any power from losing the tower, but it's true that he has to use his power to maintain the order of the human realm in place of the tower, and that could be the reason why he loss to Jin yang. Again your argument about wuhuan is wrong, in order to become a god they had to cultivate and pass a trial to become god, nobody else was able to become gods after the god realm was close; the only people who are gods in the heavenly realm are gujun, muguang, wuhuan and houchi, houchi is the only goddess who was acknowledged as one in the womb because of gujun insistence, not because of her own power. Also bixi didn't defeat houchi, they were at a draw at most. If I have to make comparison in term of power, he might be even weaker than donghua who wasn't a god at the time either.

I don't see it that way. He's just a normal immortal, not a god, otherwise he would call himself one. Also the human world was just created after the god world was destroyed, so bixi was tasked with guarding the human realm and guard against the evil power by baijue. Everything that you said was just your guess calling him a warrior when he was easily defeated by someone like jian yang. Again with underestimating wuhuan, after the god realm was destroyed, nobody else was able to cultivate to become a god, wuhuan was a goddess and the heavenly empress, she hold lots of power, so he chose to deal with her because her son made promises that she will help guarding the human realm for him. Also jian Yang being really rude towards bixi just gives the impression that bixi is a lowly immortal with lowly power, that's why he was easily defeated by him.
