So many rumor dramas for xk. Wonder which one is the real one.

Yeah it could be because I like gaming that's why I thought this drama is fun, while drama with just romance would be boring for me...

The drama didn't catch my attention until the ml's brother came back, the same with the fl I thought she was too girly and childish at first. But she does improve as the show goes on. It's lighthearted and fun, but it's not for everybody.

I love his interpretation of fuheng, so he's still my SLS ^^ Agree his comedic timing was very natural, not force. I like those characters he played in dance of the sky empire, arsenal military academy for that reason as well ^^

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I can see why you like those two characters. Both are very intelligent and can see through those they come in contact with. Wanglu is such a fun character that I would like to see xukai play a similar type of character again, or if we could get a season 2 of once upon a time in lingjian mountain. Fuheng from story of yanxi palace was the first drama I watched of xukai, and he gave me a really good impression by playing him, being fuheng was so mature and he played him from a young man to his old age. I was heartbroken for his and yingluo broken promise. I also really like how supportive he was to her after he found out she became the king's concubine. Xukai being in royal feast with wu Jin Yan truly mend my broken heart from yanxi palace ^^

Who knows, it finished filming in Feb of this year,. If we're lucky we could get it at the end of the year, otherwise it probably air next year.

So you don't like his characters in arsenal military academy, ancient love poetry, story of yanxi palace and court lady, etc? Those are the characters he's most popular with fans. Don't be offended, I'm just wondering about why you only like Wang lu and Zhu zhan ji.

Yeah I can see what you mean. It's interesting to see the king value him that much, that after his anger and seeing his daughter begging for his life, he just decided to forgive him just like that. This king is known for being lenient towards those who are loyal to him in history, he gave him so many chances compare to other emperors with just one mistake he would have his head cut off.

Which drama can you point out exactly that you think he didn't deliver his character? I seen most of his dramas and I really like those characters he portrayed, I think he's really good with characters portrayal especially when it comes to emotional scenes.

I think in novel she was younger hence her behaviors kind of juvenile, and that's why she looks up to ml as a senior with more experience even though it looks like she always argues with him, but I can see how much trust she put in him. Don't know the reason why in drama they made her older since she appears much younger than her age in my opinion.

I think you're a bit harsh on the fl. I do think she could be more expressive, but I attributed to her being new to acting, also I thought her nonchalent when she was asked about being in a relationship with the captain was how a working girl should react. Also being the only girl with a group of boys, isn't that normal for them to react. Anyway it's not a serious thought provoking drama, it's meant to be taken lightly, and I thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was. Also i like how it touches on the fandom and how toxic it can be.

Mdl is still counting like the drama is airing normally, but this drama has been postponed. Made me excited for nothing lol.

I think for baijue and shanggu they're the same type of people, as a result they have an unspoken understanding of what the other was doing. Sure they hurt each other in the process, but if you listen to when shanggu told baijue this is my duty this is what you taught me when he asked her to not go through with her plan to sacrifice her life, or before she died and she told him I'll leave you the three realms. She didn't need to tell him that but she did anyway because she knew he would take care of the three realms in her place as a true god. So even though she was angry for what he did by lying to her, she understood because they both care for the three realms, and it's their duties as the highest beings in the three realms. This is why shanggu fell in love with baijue and not with tianqi, no matter how much tianqi loves her, she could only see him as a brother. Baijue has always been about duty all his life, he was taught from early childhood by the ancient god to fight for the god realm and risk his life by doing that, as a result he is cold and kept to himself. The only one who could get close to him was shanggu when she became his student, and I can totally see why he falls for her, who wouldn't fall for a girl who work so hard to get his acknowledgement, who became a capable chief god after training under him. That's why I said they're the same type of people, and why they fell in love with each other.

For tianqi there was never a question what he did wasn't evil and that why he was condemned by the whole heavenly palace. Wuhuan was able to do so much of her evil by blaming it all on the demon clan and the demon god because of the immortals distrust of him that was the reason why the war between the demons and immortals started. It only later on when baijue exposed wuhuan for killing yuemi that tianqi was finally absolve of his guilt and accept by the immortals again.

He's known to international fans through that role I think. Xukai has lots of roles I like, among them I'm most impressed with his roles n ancient love poetry, court lady, story of yanxi palace and once upon a time in lingjian mountain as well. Forget to mention his latest drama character is really so different from most of his other characters I seen before, his character was really mature and a great boyfriend material in loss in Kunlun mountain ^^

So it's going to be postponed and not air on Oct 13, but they just announced it. Why announced it in the first place, tencent going to get lots of angry fans if Oct 13 and the drama doesn't air :(
