Yeah I hope she and her perfect husband will be a hit for both xukai and yangmi^^ Also i think it much harder to get a TV broadcast, being they waited so long for TV broadcast, but still couldn't get a date. I'm glad to see it finally has an airing date. I'm assuming it will get a TV broadcast after it's air on web first.

I know he gotten some fame from story of yanxi palace. How are his other dramas doing in china. I knew falling into your smile didn't receive well in china but international fans love it ^^

There's a scene ml gotten sick and his servant was worried for him, and he gotten mad at the fl, that was in the early eps, not with sml. Sml is older, so he's good at keeping cool. Both of them has lots of confrontations though, i really like those scenes due to their acting ^^

Very good, at first they were enemies because the sml thought ml father killed his family, but after he found out the truth they gotten closer and even called each other brothers ^^

I'm spotting the same actor who has been in so many dramas with xukai, court lady, royal feast and this drama. If I'm not mistaken he's also in she and her perfect husband. They must be from the same studio. His character is a really good brother to wushuang. I thought wushuang being the first to propose marriage is really cool, who said it has to be the guy to propose marriage ^^

I really like the variety in costumes and hairstyles for the whole casts. Also let support your faves by supporting this drama without putting down any of the casts . Looking forward to when this drama finally air, I'm so excited knowing xukai is playing two roles ^^

It's not everyone's cup of tea since I was surprised myself I was able to be so into story of yanxi palace being it's a long drama, but it was able to hold my interest even though I really hate story about polygamy, the king having so many wives, but it's an eye opening to see into the lives of these concubines, also was really into the CP between fuheng and yingluo. Yingluo was such a strong and capable fl.

No news about season 2.

It's an open ending, my opinion they can't show a se so they throws in a he at the end. I considered it a se and ml died and dreamed of what he wants to happen in the future, it doesn't make any sense otherwise how he was able to get out when he never figured out the secret to open that door.

Heard xukai wants to be a movie actor, so right now he's concentrating on improving his acting in each of his project. Respect for xukai, hope he will fulfill his dream ^^

The ml gave fl his last name, so they're not real siblings.

I think it all comes down to whether you like the cp, since I like them in story of yanxi palace, I also like them here. This is a totally different story that focuses on the food rather than the concubines of the king like yanxi place. Also she didn't gives up and becomes his concubine, she decides she wants the position of the empress since that's the position of power that should've been her, also she wants to change the outcome of the concubines once the king died, and in history her son did abolished that rule. In term of xukai character, I guess I'm used to watch historical dramas with royalty that I thought he is not as bad as those I watched in the past, he would've set her free if it wasn't for his father command that they married.

Feels longer, I think it was due to getting our hope for this drama to air earlier this year, that why we fans are so impatient now. I'm usually much more patience. Also what with the cancel culture in china, any dramas risk of getting cancel permanently if one of the actors/actresses have some kind of scandal that could pop up anytime with no warning.
