In this drama, I really like how the people in pentasect address each other. Calling each other brother and sister like they're a family. It gives a certain closeness more than just being friends.

Yeah her mission was to be a spy for him. If she didn't tell him anything he would be suspicious. I think yunqi knew and that's why he didn't give her a hard time when fengling was questioning her. He even told her before to tell her master she can be a spy for her master, so he could get her to travel with him.

People in old day are superstitious, I hate him for what he did to wushuang but I also kind of pity him since he was begging her to notice him when he said he's waiting for her on the other side. Lots of Chinese believe in the after life, so this guy is saying he will wait for her even after death, kind of creepy if you don't follow their belief. Some people think it's romantic.

I think wu shuang is not a good liar. She clearly feels guilty for being send as a spy by her master. Yunqi doesn't seem to care, when she came to see him and he asked her to come with him to look for Kunlun mountain, he even told her to tell her master that she will spy for him. He trusts in wushuang to not betray him.

Actually, I see it as her not wanting to betray him. If she has no knowledge of it, then if her master asked, she could say she doesn't know it. She's stuck by her loyalty to her master and her love to yunqi. She truly thinks her master wants to protect yunqi, but she also knows her master is interested in the Kunlun mountain, that's why she told yunqi not to go look for the Kunlun mountain until her master retire, because she's stuck by her loyalty to both men.

You're right of course. I'm just not into romance as a genre and that's why I'm good with how the romance goes in this drama. If it's only a romance drama I would already loss interest, so it's a good think it's not the main focus.

I was referring to their first kiss. I like the bus kiss and theater kiss, so no complaints there. For me it comes down whether the girl is comfortable with the kiss scenes or not. A lot of time I'm turning off by kiss scenes when I see how uncomfortable the girl is. So for a good kiss scenes to be good both actors have to really be comfortable with each other, and the guy has to accommodate the girl, that why I like this kiss scene since I like that he wasn't forcing her and going by her own pace.

But it does have romance. Also I'm talking about the different characters not just wushuang and yunqi. They establish all the major characters so we know their motivation where they stand. Now it's just telling the journey to get to Kunlun mountain, I just hope it has a good ending and not rush.

You're right wushuang wasn't the reason he came back. As the story is written she was a special existence for him since childhood, and as they spend times together, that feeling turns romantic. It could be you don't like the cp as a result you don't see their chemistry, but for me I can see how she's the only girl he letting close to him or see his vulnerability. Also they both share a past together, so he trusts her completely. For fengling he is suspicious of her brother, but I think he does see her as a friend, he just doesn't have romantic feeling for her, and he might've realizes she has feeling for him, that's why he's being cold toward her. Even cyz whom he called sister, he still keeps a distance compare to the way he treats wushuang.

It's fine if you don't share my opinion. Most times I'm just turn off by kiss scenes in general since I feel like the guy was attacking the girl and she wasn't comfortable with it. For this kiss scenes I feel they're sweet and doesn't turn me off, and they're both exploring each other being they just turn from friends to lovers.

I thought his kiss scenes in falling into your smile when their first kiss was just ok. They just lock lips together. For this one it was much sweeter, and they're taking their time. I just feel he's so sweet taking his time, in a way wushuang character as written is very innocent so he's taking his time teaching her. That's how I see it.

You're right about that, but we can't compare those guys in modern day to people who living in the republican era. They live in a much simpler time, where most young women care the most about is marriage and having a family. If a guy wants to live with a girl, he has to marry her, otherwise her reputation will be ruin. Yunqi is not the type of guy to be sweet on a girl if he has no feeling for her, even if she's a friend. We can see the difference way he treated wushuang to fengling. He seems to keep a certain distance from fengling even after they became friends.

I like the kiss, it was their first kiss and i like that he's taking it slow. For some reasons I don't like those kisses where the guy seems to be in a hurry and doesn't think about the girl's feeling. For this kiss they were friends, now they become a couple, so it make sense for them to take it slowly. Also I think for wushuang it must be her first kiss with a guy, she seems so shy, I just think he's really sweet by taking his time ^^

That was how it was written, they're childhood sweetheart, he always has a soft spot for her, hence he even eat the food she made for him knowing he would get sick afterward, or wearing the charm she gave him. I think the kiss was really sweet, it's ok if you don't share the same opinion. I'm usually not into romance, but the feeling between yunqi and wushuang was kind of hard to miss all those signals showing how they're feeling to each other. Him refusing to marry her before has nothing to do with her, and everything to do with the stupid pentasect rule, and he even said he disband the pentasect to set her free so they can be together. Haven't watch love like the galaxy but hear lots of good things about it. Like you I also watching this drama for xukai and all his outfits just look so good on him ^^

I think you mean sfl, not fl . I can feel her jealousy over yunqi and wushuang getting closer. I feel bad for her if he is her first crush and she doesn't know how to handle her jealousy, so she's lashing out at wushuang after finding out about wushuang's master and her sect following them. I'm still hopeful now that yunqi and wushuang are together, fengling will gives up on yunqi and get together with he biao, I think they would make a cute couple.

I didn't have a problem with the start, I felt the start was slow pace to establish all the relationships especially for yunqi and wushuang àfter watching to ép 22 i'm so happy for them, he finally confess his feeling to her. It's so obvious he has feeling for her from early on, so I'm glad they finally get together as a couple. Also does anybody notices how wushuang is lying to her master, she was the one who set the trap in that place to become a death trap so nobody could get in again, but when her master asked about it she pretends she doesn't know. Also I can tell she chooses yunqi over her master in her heart even if she doesn't admitted herself, she didn't try to read the book of ban knowing her master wants to know about it, she still left him to read alone, so she doesn't betray him. I remember I heard before the drama air the eps # was going to to be 48, but when the drama finally air it was only 36 eps. Probably due to censorship the eps # was cut, just hope it won't affects the quality of the drama, since the ending is what make the drama.

I hope they will have enough eps to end the drama properly. Cdramas have a problem when it comes to the ending, either being too short or not having a satisfy ending.
