In fact qingmu and houchi are just the bodies of baijue and shangu whom develop their own consciousness like a split personality. Since baijue and shanggu are the true gods, so they're in possession of their bodies once their memories return.

I think the drama did a really good job of explaining everything really well. If you watch it and not comprehending it, you can rewatch it again to get a better understanding. This drama has some heartbreak, but I felt the ending made up for it. The god realm was reopened again, hongri came back at the end, gujun and Jing jian will reborn again. For the main leads I felt bad for houchi and qingmu, they love story were really sad because they only have a short time together. For me houchi and qingmu are different people than baijue and shanggu, but they share the same soul, so their memories will live on in baijue and shanggu. I really love qingmu, he is so pure, his love for houchi is everything, but for me baijue is the best his sacrifice of thousands of years to help shanggu get another life can't be beaten by anyone. I just love his character, and felt really bad for how much he suffered after shanggu's death, and how determined he was to bring her back. He can be so cruel to himself and those he love in order to protect them because of his position as the true god, he has a heavy responsibilities to care for the three realms unlike qingmu who can be free to love because he has no such responsibility. The same can be say for shanggu, even though she loves baijue, she is not like houchi who just gave up on life once qingmu died because of her position as the chief god. She refuses to give up, and beg the ancient god to let baijue reborn as the fire god, and as a result baijue was able to come back by the power of the ancient god. The ending was too short for all their suffering. Hope for a second season where we can see them being truly happy, and tianqi and yuemi will get a second chance with each other, as well as fengran and Jing jian.

There isn't any announcement of new show of xukai that I know of. I'm not on Weibo so I don't know any rumors. Maybe after he finishes his filming of sword and fairy 6, there will be new announcement for his upcoming project. Xukai is a workaholic so he will only takes a small break, I am expecting him to get new project towards the end of his shooting for sword and fairy 6 ^^

Ok, but is snow eagle lord going to be affected for her being rumor with xukai Cheng since there's no evidence to prove she was involved with him? This is what I don't like about c-entertainment, the actors/actresses could get affected by being involved in some negative rumors, when it could've been lies being spread to hurt their reputation.

He has another drama he's filming right now sword and fairy 6. I don't know how an actor handle their tax, do they handle it themselves or do they go through a company. And how's his agency responsible for his tax, I'm not an expert on that so I can't say anything about it.

What happened, why would gulinazha get cancel. I hope you're wrong, and this drama will not get delay for whatever reason.

Loss in Kunlun mountain is really good, just censorship kind of messed up the ending. I like it, and hoping this drama will be full of action, would really like the trailer to come out so we can see how it looks. I don't think there's anything wrong with wuxia, I remember who rules the world and heroes just came out this year. Would like to see xukai in another wuxia drama ^^

It's a happy ending, you can see it for yourself. The acting are great for supports and mains. Good cgi, good music, good plot what more can you ask for ^^

It's a nice change to see xukai being chased by the fl. In his other dramas he was always the one doing the chasing. His character in this drama is the mature, quiet and understanding boyfriend. For those who complained about the main leads chemistry, I assumed you're just not use to see the ml being so passive in the relationship department, giving the fl time to understand her feeling before he confessed to her. Fl is the naive type, who is old fashioned and has very little knowledge about relationship, so he was just being supportive by giving her time to sort out her feeling. In Chinese culture, holding on to an item of the opposite sex is already considered declaration of your feeling to that person; we can see yunqi treasures that comb wushuang gave him and he would wear it around his neck under his shirt as early as ep 5. Eating the food she cook for him knowing he's allergic and would get sick, who would do that for a friend, he made his feeling known very early on, so it's kind of a surprise to me to see some people complained about his sudden confession like it came out of nowhere when it's apparently obvious to anyone who have eyes that he's sweet on wushuang. Also the way he court her by buying her apples and then later on snack, that's so sweet. Xukai and his loves for apple ^^ When I first watch this drama, I already seen the main leads chemistry from the trailers, so I think it's because I'm more acceptance to this CP that's why I was able to like their relationship, and seeing xukai playing a character who's more mature than his age is a plus ^^

In bts, it looks to me like xukai character going to be using two swords. That's very cool, his fight scenes in court lady when he was using two swords I really enjoy that. Can't wait to see his character in action ^^

Also would recommend ancient love poetry and his other historical dramas. Once upon a time in lingjian mountain is also a favorite of mine, it's a comedy and xukai was really smart and funny in that one ^^

Loss in Kunlun mountain is S-class drama, while she and her perfect husband is S+ from my understanding.

Please don't say that. It just crazy the amount of bad publicity an actor/actress can get over something so simple as tax evasion or taking a simple photo because their reputation got pull down and their dramas got delayed indefinitely. Case in point yuan Bing Yan, I thought the tax evasion case wasn't that serious like deng luan since it's not her who do the tax evasion, it was a company that was associated with her, but due to that she gotten badmouthed and her new drama that she was supposed to cooperate with yangmi didn't go through, and the drama picked another actress. The c-entertainment is a cuthroat business that's for sure.

I'm an older viewer, so this is not true at all. I enjoy this drama so much more than ten miles and ashes of love. It's a drama to immerse yourself in, it took me a long time to get over it. Everyone has their preference on what they consider as their best drama, this is my top one.

I think the only thing I dislike was the ending. Even though sfl became so unlikable, I felt her character progress from such a sweet girl to a power hungry woman was kind of interesting nonetheless. All the characters for me are interesting, and that's how I was able to enjoy the drama like reading a book, as long as I like some of the characters in the show, no matter how boring it gets I can still finished the drama. For this show there were so much dialogues, but I was able to sit through it all, and still enjoy the atmosphere the drama gives, just thinks it's the old school style that I like. Just wish it has follows novel and didn't have so much censorship that kind of ruin the narrative :(

I'm glad to hear you will continue watching. That princess is worse than goddess of snow, I'm not a fan of that type of romance either.
