Princess jing zhao behavior reminds me of snow goddess. Yes i can see their love is really an obsession first with baijue and now with qingmu. I will never understand this type of behavior, pushing your feeling onto someone who doesn't return your love, and lowering yourself to become a laughing stock. Runyu in ashes of love also has the same type of behavior, he has someone who devoted and love him for so long, but he would rather fight with his brother for a woman who he knew has feeling for his brother, in the end causing her so much heartache, as well as everyone involve.

You're so right. I was watching an interview from xukai and he was ask about the characters he play in Alp. Baijue is suppose to be ice cold, while qingmu is just a young man so i think xukai is playing these two characters well, and able to show their different sides. In that interview he was ask if he did his homework, and he said he did because he has to use his eyes alot to express the characters. There is another interview i watched recently it's on wetv, and he was ask which of the 3 characters was harder to play and he said baijue because he is so restrained, and it's harder to express such a character to the audience. I have always love xukai because he can use his eyes to express his emotions, i followed him from story of yanxi palace and after that the legend before he started to play more comedy roles, and for me he can transition these characters quite well being a young actor with his experience. I'm always looking forward to his portrayal of a new character in each of his work because he can brings the character to life because he understood them ^^

I feel you're living in an illusion. You're the only one complaining about his acting in the legend, when everyone else is full of praises. Get a life, it's unhealthy to be that obsess over an actor, to the point of stalking him on his own page lol ^^

Only one poster Jupiter rules keeps bringing him up and picking on him , that person has the gall to blame him for the drama having too many hugs and no kiss scenes like he's responsible for that. Otherwise most of us viewers love him playing baijue/qingmu. Agree he's a good actor who also works hard for every role, not relying on his good look.

Agree with this comment. I love baijue/qingmu and xukai play him well enough for me to empathise with his characters. Having lots of kisses don't automatically become chemistry. In my opinion both leads are just the cutest couple ever, xukai and zhou dong yu are doing justice to their characters. I have to say i prefer hugging over ackward kissing, i have never care for it that much having watch many old historical dramas with no kissing scenes, it's not a requirement to show romance.

He doesn't show emotion because that's how his character is someone who doesn't understand emotion, and only learn it once he fell in love. Xukai play the character just fine, it's much harder to express emotions with only his eyes and he does it extremely well. Baijue and qingmu are both play well by him, qingmu is carefree and doesn't have lots to worry about compare to baijue who is always about duty. Kind of weird to complain about a character that is suppose to be cold and not suppose to show a range of emotion compare to characters that have to show a range of emotion. You must have really love xukai to keep on picking on him lol.

I have to disagree here, what does it mean to not be suitable for xanxia dramas? He has done xanxia before, and was also good in that show. The fl is a great actress as well, they both are playing their roles well, there is nothing to complain as far as i can tell. The plot is getting more and more interesting too.

His character in court lady does mature and become a great general who relies on his wits and talents. The action scenes are great. Being this is his first modern drama, i'm enjoying it. I love the team dynamic and each episode is funny, ml and fl have great chemistry. He also has a xanxia drama airing at the same time ancient love poetry ^^

You're putting words in my mouth, i'm not talking about those who look young i'm talking about those who look old. I find it's a refreshing change to see a young casts playing the most strongest being in the whole three realms, their powers are great but they look like they're just teenagers. As the saying goes don't judge a book by its cover is very apt here ^^

There is no rule, it's only in writer imagination. Just like in my imagination what constitute an immortals is looking young and never age. Regarding the age, the 4 true gods all look young, the heavenly emperor and empress also look young, gujun also very young looking. So i'm assuming it's purposeful to show the different in power and rank between those who are gods and those who are just immortals as a result they do age compare to those with true god power who will stay young forever.

While wuhuan the heavenly empress look younger than her daughter ^^

Most of the actors and actresses in this drama are so young looking. Compare to eternal love and ashes of love, but they're also great actors/actresses. My beef about those other xanxia is how old those actors look since they're suppose to be immortals, here they look like they don't age and will be forever young. Even they're older like the fl she looks like a teenager, the same for ml. Muguang as the heavenly emperor is so young looking even look younger than his son and i'm loving it ^^

Brother cheng is really boyfriend material. He's being so nice and protective to tong yao. Watching up to 14 ep, i'm glad she finally confronted Atai and beat him with the help of her teammates. Also Tong yao is super jealous when she thought brother cheng has a girl friend, and when she found out he's going on a blind date. I don't think she can keep her word about not dating an e-sport player, she obviously fallen for brother cheng ^^

Fengran and jing jian another cute couple. Why do i feel fengran is the phoenix princess that was set free by shanggu and baijue, and jing jian is her lover in their last life.
