You're right, no one should be call ugly. I kind of agree about wanting another actress to play this role though, i would have like her to be more pretty just to show qingmu like houchi for her personality and not her look because now houchi looks more pretty than her love rival lol.

I don't think that person is talking about the main actress, she probably is talking about the princess of the heavenly palace who share the same mother as houchi.

It suppose to be rivalry, they're both competing to win against each other lol ^^

Watching ep 17, boxuan is obviously baijue, why does he wear a mask around houchi? Is he trying to hide his identity from people around her? Does gujun know about houchi identity and boxuan identity. I'm i wrong but there is an actor who played K in falling into your smile also in this drama?

I'm liking the friendship between chessman and hierophant. The first thing i notice about chessman character is the first time we seen him holding the cubic, and now i found out it came from hierophant. That is a beautiful bromance lol ^^

Same, i saw him first in yanxi palace. I watched most of his dramas and enjoy all of them, i also love once upon a time in lingjian moutain, his comedic roles as well as his serious roles ^^

Finally able to watch the new eps. Is anyone the same as me and only watch up to 16 eps, feel like i'm the only watching and everyone else has already reach the 20s eps.

I watch all 16 eps and didn't skip and i'm liking their relationship alot. I think as you watch this drama, the first 16 eps making us care about the characters and invest in their relationship not just baijue and shanggu but the other gods too. Their second life is the start of the novel, from what i know is they loss their memory of each other, but even if that is the case i hope they still feel something when they first meeting, as in their soul recognize each other, yes i'm a romantic at heart lol ^^

Ok good to know she was able to get revenge on her defeat, no i haven't watch that ep yet. I'm watching on youtube, so i only watch to ep 10.

I don't want to see her being the best from the start, but i want to see her being bad ass like the fl in love 020 and the king avatar. Here we haven't see her playing the game that much compare to her worrying about her make up and how she looks. Not only that we seen her being beaten by someone who used her best game character, and then now there's a substitute player who show her up by beating her opponent who beat her. I hope we see more to her character than just being cute, and she is show to train to get better as a team player rather than just being good at the game.

I didn't read novel for falling into your smile, but i like the lu sicheng he's displaying, and his sarcastic sides. I don't find him bland but the opposite; i would say baijue sounds too much like the lu sicheng you describes in the novel , but then you called him bland so whatever. I'm watchimg both dramas, so i'm liking the different sides of characters he playing in both.

I'm not use to watch the fl being so girly and acted cute in here. She hasn't proven her worth as a team player in my opinion, and here come another substitute player. I do start to see tong yao starting to develop feeling to lu sicheng and vice versa. The ml brother is such a busy body, he always find time to take pictures of his brother and tong yao. Really like how lu sicheng react by throwing his slipper at him ^^

I have to disagree, he has play li cheng lan, fuca fuheng and there is a modern drama he's doing that is also cold and aloof that is airing right now falling into your smile, and they're all different. And his role in this drama is not cold hearted, baijue is anything but cold hearted, he's responsible and take his duty seriously and he would give up his life for his duty as a true god. Even if shanggu didn't become the chief god, he would've give his life defending the three realms in her place from the beginning when he was talking to zhiyang and tianqi. Before meeting shanggu, he is not sociable and like to be left alone, after he took shanggu in as a student he starts to become warmer and want to protect her not just because of his duty anymore but because he started to care for her. Who wouldn't, she pretty much train to become chief god for him, her wanting to become stronger is also a way to get his acknowledgement. Her becoming more mature and wanting to fulfill her duty as chief god was partly because of him, so i'm saying why wouldn't he fall for her. People who keep asking why did they fall for each other probably didn't watch all 16 eps of this drama, but i can say their love is natural and it develops from respect and understanding, it's a pure love since both of them are inexperience in love. I wouldn't mind seeing xukai play a cold hearted role though, and i'm sure he will be able to portray it well ^^

Turn out there won't be new eps on thursday. I'm sad, good thing i can watch xukai other drama that is airing at the same time. I should've wait until drama has complete to watch all in one go, but i can't help myself when it comes to xukai lol ^^

It's still early into ancient love poetry, but i love what i seen so far. The waiting is a pain. His character baijue is such a pure soul, he reminds me of fuca fuheng and li chen lan but also different. I can say i can distinguish between those characters, they all serious roles, and xukai was able to play them all differently.

It's a palace drama, if you read the novel you will understand the drama follows novel, and it is fl centric. It's too bad about censorship, there were so many cut toward the end of drama that make the drama missing so many details and hurting the flow of the story.

Nothing is fair and accurate anymore. There will always be fans who give a drama 10 stars, and antifans who give a drama 1 star. This drama was rated 1 star by haters when the first ep was released just 30 mins into it. Can u call that fair and accurate. Even if you are going to rate a drama, you should watch at least half the drama to give a fair assessment. Don't be a follower, judge a drama for yourself rather than by into those unfair opinions on the character looks, etc when what matter is the plot and acting. This is a good drama if you take the time to appreciate the story and characters. I wasn't sold on ten mile of peach blossom when i first started either, it took many more eps for the story to get moving. With ashes of love, i didn't like how colorful it was, or how big the costumes on the characters...i prefer the subdue colors in this drama, and how simple and elegant their clothes are compare to how bright and colorful it was in ashes of love. This just come to different taste.

Who is he trying to prove to, shangu made her sacrifice and disappear. That is just baijue character, who always hold his emotion and never good at expressing it. He just bottles it up instead, i didn't see anything wrong with how he is playing baijue. Xukai can do emotional scenes well, if it wasn't how the character suppose to be, directors would have reshoot it.
