Ok, thanks. I just thought if i didn't have to read the subtitle, i could watch the game and understand it better. I was hoping they show individual play rather than the whole team play like in the king avatar. There were some scenes that show individual play and it looks really good. It looks like for this game only those who has knowledge about it will understand it, hoping they will explain the game so audiences can understand better in future eps. I have to wonder if this drama main focus will not be about the game but the players and their relationship.

I haven't seen any disrespect toward esport. Having watch only love 020 and the king avatar i can see some similarity to those two dramas, it's a youth drama and it reflect real life experiences of esport players. I heard this drama has to change the game from league of legend to onmiouji, and beside those who are into esport those who watch this drama are just interested in a good rom com or the actors. Those people who attack this drama are taking it too seriously, funny how did the author was able to write a book about the real life of esport players if she doesn't use real people, should she make things up and really disrespect the esport community, if it was such a big deal why was this drama allow to air, and why attack the actors they're only doing their job. On the other hand, the author should get permission before being able to publish her work if she does use real life experiences of the player, what is the copyright law in china, why is she allow to publish her work? Is the player cares that she uses his story, or is this only esport fans that care.

Watching up to 2 eps and liking the story. The game play kind of loss on me, would've been better experience if i can understand the language without the sub. Looking forward to next ep. Xukai character has a sharp tongue i like it ^^ Chengxiao character i like how she is so cool about her ex, guess that means she moves on while he is still stuck on her.

Thanks for explaining, i really want to know how he's describe in novel, whether he is as young looking as shangu is describe in novel. Both of them look like teenagers ^^

I thinks he look really pretty for a guy with this hairstyle. If this is how his character is describe in the novel, i'm fine with it. Just from a few eps i watch, he has been describes as beautiful and good looking by all the girls, shang gu is always fascinated with how good looking he was, so i assume he is also this way in the novel. I like leon's look so no complains here either.

What about baiyue, how is he describes in the novel?

I think it's a gradual process, their chemistry is natural and not force. They started to get closer after a misunderstanding on his part, also he took his responsibility seriously after becoming her teacher; she is the first girl who could make him smile and being comfortable around compare to other females who only annoys him by chasing after him.

I really love xukai role in this drama. He's a true god so he's pretty much the strongest god beside shangu who will become the chief god. The fighting/action scenes are done really well, cgi is also on point. I love wuxia genre, but xanxia can be just as good if they directed well. Compare to the legend action scenes, this one is so much better, and xukai is not sick all the times like in that one, plus it follows novel compare to what happen to the legend after the half way points became all filler, hope this one stay close to novel since i heard the novel is really good. Zhou dongyu is not a classic beauty, but i really love her character in this drama, she's bubbly and straightforward, and i think baiyue being a loner actually attracted to that side of her. They have great chemistry, don't know what is wrong with cnetizens, do they care so much about appearances, as long as the actress is not pretty to they liking, they will make a big deal about chemistry and acting. Imagine if another actress took this role and can't act but look pretty they would praise her to high heaven lol ^___^

Watching to ep 4, shang gu and bai jue is such a sweet couple. Baijue is just too cute when he asks for advice from his beast spirit, just show how little experience he has when it come to interpersonal relationship even after living for such a long time ^^

I think he is only cold to certain people like females in general that's why he's call ice cube even though he's really popular with the other goddesses. Toward those two males gods he's indifferent, but i think that just because he's a loner. While with shangu, she is the only one he truly showing his feeling openly.

His character feels to me to be aloof and cold. But i see he doesn't know how to express emotion properly cause of staying away from people for too long rather than just being emotionless since i seen him in those roles before such as in the legend and story of yanxi palace and he has no problem with being emotionless.

I feel his character is suppose to look young just like zhou dongyu character. In the first ep, the snow goddess even remarked his appearance hasn't change for 10,000 years. To select him as the main lead the director must have consider his appearance as well...

That's crazy the amount of hate generated for this drama and the two lead actors. Who rate that early for a drama when it just air and gave only 1 star, only haters with lots of times on their hands. I like this drama so far from watching only the early eps. Both zhou donyu and xukai are very young looking but i just assumed that is how their characters are suppose to be, since i haven't read the novel.
