It's only 11 eps from 38 eps, my understanding from those who are watching this drama he's hiding his identity and power so let not judge his character too early. Xukai is first lead here so i don't think his character will just be a love interest.

I can understand you this charater is kind of like fuca fuheng who is very by the book and i heard some people call him boring, but his character also really popular in that drama and is love even more than the ml and his screentimes were much less than the ml. Let see how this character will be like as the drama progress in this drama. I'm also hoping his character will get his shining moment, but it's still early in the drama and he's hiding his true identity and power from what is being said about his character here.

Many of xukai dramas started out with low rating don't mind it and just enjoy the drama. I stop caring about mdl rating. It's a disservice for those who want to check out a new drama when the rating doesn't reflect the quality of the drama. Mdl doesn't reflect the true rating of a drama, moonlit reunion is doing very well in china and has been at the top of many charts so don't sweat the small stuff ^^

Someone was saying in earlier comment everything was happening too fast and want the drama to slow down and here you're saying the opposite. Two contradicting statements, let be patience and wait for the plot to unfold, i think it's too early to make judgement about this drama in only 11 eps.

Let not focus too much on heat index, mdl rating is not trustworthy, it's rated by fans for popularity rather than how good drama is. Some dramas with lots of fans will have high rating even though the dramas are just average, so don't let the rating fool you.

Have you try court lady, his character started out as a bad boy who changed after falling for the fl. In that drama i really love his character development ^^

If he's not so memorable then why is he the only actor able to get my attention and there're many good looking chinese actors in cent. What you want to say the problem you have with are the actresses he paired with because either they're not good looking enough, or they're too old or they bad in acting. I kept encountering these complaints when it comes to xukai dramas that make me think these complain come from cp fans since i didn't have any of the problem with any of these actreses i seem to be able to watch these dramas just fine. Another thing is in some dramas his characters are not meant to stand out because they're introverted like in this drama or he didn't get lots of screentimes but he still stand out for me because of his good acting, and these characters are much more harder to play than extroverted characters.

I see that must be frustrating when the ml and fl don't have equal screentimes. I only seen a few clips of the drama so i can't say much about it but i assume his screentimes will increase with more eps coming out.

Agree drama just starting and this person want to start trouble by complaining about the fl. This also happens on wonderland of love and many dramas of xukai when his dramas started airing. Xukai fans will not stir trouble and attack the actress for no reason. This is the first time i'm seeing this user commenting in this drama and i been camping here waiting for this drama for more than a year.
