What you said is true but nothing wrong with expressing your frustration if you been waiting a long time for this drama. In my opinion xukai drama has a longer waiting time compare to other actor/actress drama maybe it's all in my head but that how i felt lol.

I read many romance novels in the past and it's the same with western historical romance, the females are under 18 while the males are usually in their 20s. What i notice is females in that time period are much more mature even at a such a young age compare to those in this day and age, they were taught from an early age to be ready for marriage, to take care of the household, girls who are in their 20s who haven't marry will be call names and ostracize by society and being call undesirable, it's a very different time back then. Men have many option and wasn't expected to get marry early, they get to go to college, join the army, employ in a profession, and can nherit a title if they're from nobility, women only option to to get marry and produce heir. There is no such consideration about age in that time period, nowaday we would consider girls under 18 are still children, but that was the right age for marriage at that time. I agree with you 15 and 26 are a big age gap especially since she's under age, however since both the actor and actress who play these character are older than the or cgaracters, i don't have a problem with it since i'm not reading the novel and only watching the drama.

We're spoil by xukai so even with waitiing for only a few months is too long. I remember waiting for court lady for like 2 years when it was shot in 2019 and air on 2021. Now it just feel weird not having a drama from him, we're luckier than many other actor/actress fans who're not as hard working as him, he typically film two to three dramas a year so his fans will always have drama to watch ^^

Bian luhuan was the fl's teacher and his family hold the fl hostage to prevent her mother a mythical beast from destroying the world, his future self went into the past and exchange himself to create ml because in the future they lost the fight against her mother. That why bian luhuan doesn't have a future and the ml doesn't have a past. The fl is their best bet to defeat her mother and she has to resonate with him, but he wasn't able to resonate with her because of an old injury or something similar, that why the ml was created. Both of them were made to live together and relying on each other because they both lost their memories. Ml can resonate with fl and create a much stronger power compare to bian luhuan because she has stronger feeling for him.

The eunuch, fu shui and consort yang are related. I don't think chen ji and fu shui have any relation, they just happens to look alike and fu shui uses the crown prince closeness to chen ji to get close to him to bring the downfall of the kingdom of tang. The novel has the same title as the drama and was shared in the recent discussion on top when the drama was airing, but it was now removed.

Agree it's too long a wait for xukai drama if it's going to be release in august. I hope one of his dramas will air in the next month or so.
