He did end up with the friend, but it's a good thing they didn't start dating right away. Right off the bat she was already pursuing him after his breakup. She's not a good friend because she hide their dating from her friends.

That's a drastic change though, what about dramas with long eps 16 eps will not be enough are they going to divided into 2 parts.

And what makes your opinion more valid than mine. They were both competing with each other and he see her as someone who could match him in strategy and could put up a challenge. You are watching a drama about two generals who command an army and expect them to play fair or not to take advantage when the other show weakness or a flaw that they can explore at least in the beginning until they became lovers. The fl was raise as a boy and has to command respect from her men, don't expect her to act all demure and show weakness just because she likes a guy.

It's your lost if you choose to stop watching the drama and making assumption about the fl and ml when you didn't finish the drama, it doesn't make your opinion better than anyone else or it's bad writing if ml and fl have flaws.
