I didn't know this director was responsible for s&f, however i like s&f so it wasn't a dissapointment for me. I feel the story for s&f are meant for those who truly appreciate its storyline so it's not too popular with mainstream audiences but still got approval from the creator of the s&f games, those who played the games and those who love complicated plots like s&f. Most of the complaints about s&f has to do with fl anyway so whether the fl is popular or not what matter is if her character is likable and get audiences to sympathize with her. Many of xukai's dramas tend to have fls who have lots of haters as a result it effected the reception of the drama even if it's not his fault many of his haters will blame him for its failure so i'm more interested in dramas with good storyline and having a strong and likable fl rather than whether it has a good production or popular fl. However it might just be a fake rumor since i don't think he will be finishing shooting for 800 meters in feb 2025.

Is this a bit too early since it still hasn't pass censorship or got a distribution license.

I don't think it's true since he's still filming for his modern drama 800 meters and it will not finish filming in feb 2025 so this probably a fake rumor. He has not take another drama when he has not finish filming for his first drama.

The author who wrote the novel won an award for script adaptation for wonderland of love so not many share your opinion.

If you're talking about the ml's brothers and father i would say there're some stupid kings in history, otherwise they wouldn't lose their power and lost their kingdom.

The fake cui lin was able to walk out i thought it was unrealistic, but i thought his threats were real; if they were willing to risk their own lives in order to want to capture him but they don't. They chose to let him go show they were not ready to risk it all. Later on there was a fight scene and it was a very intense fight scene which showed that they were not wrong in being cautious as the people he ally with are a real threat to the country. The ml dad and brothers from the beginning were describes as weakling and foolish, and were look down by cuilin and her father, that's also the reason why the royal family were not able to hold onto power. The one who is smart doesn't care for the throne, and the real heir is still a child that why so many corrupt officials became greedy with power and want to take over the reign.

I didn't know that so they already work together. I like falling into your smile but it's an entirely different genre than this one, let hope this drama will turn out well from his direction ^^

She never stop loving him, but she did changed her priority after his family wrong her and made someone else to be the first wife instead, so she rather be a cook and watch him from afar.

Agree he's humble and down to earth, i feel bad for him having so many black marketing, but that's the price to pay to be at the top in china, being subjected to constant mockery and judgment on your every action. I like that he cares about his fans and told them to spend money on themselves and their family; to not worship celebrities i think that's a problem for many teenagers. He only accepted fanmails and refuse to take presents from them...

For this one, fl fall first for ml and she has a huge childhood crush on him that he didn't know about ^^

That's up to you whether you want to send him flowers to support him on mdl. The ranking is just to show who has the most flowers, if fans want to support their favorites to stay at the top ranking then they will keep having to send them flowers. This is a way for mdl to make money i suppose as i remember when it just started xukai rank was much higher, i don't think popularity is that important though as xukai always said to his fans don't waste money if you can't afford it, it's your choice if you want to help him stay at the top ranking though ^^
