I thought it has something to do with that hello saturday ep, so i was right. Her fans are still bringing that up even though it was made clear it wasn't about her weight but the mat. It been months ago and they still bring this up, shouldn't they just drop it already, it doesn't make ester looks good either, he was in lots of pain and she didn't even say sorry for causing him pain but complained that he was yelling in her ear. What's he supposed to do when he was feeling pain 🙄

Yzm was a support character in bce, we rarely see him in his office environment after he got together with ch, so the main characters in that drama is ch and her mother; he was just a love interest to ch compare to ht in abay who is the main attration hence he was equal billing to tsy unlike in bce where he was second billing to yangzi.

I thought it was already announced when his schedules came out and we got a rough estimate the new drama will be shot in mid nov.

Xukai has always been good at playing character, just give him a good role and he will shine like hanting for example. I have many favorite roles from him, fuca was my first role i like, but i have so many favorites now that i find it hard to pick my no1 favorite ^^

That just shows how good of an actor he's that he can show two different sides of himself compare to bts. If it was boring than it definitely not a drama for you. You said you like xukai being funny and cute in bts, then you can watch some of his more comedic dramas like dance of the sky empire or once upon a time in lingjian mountain. Most of his dramas are serious even though his characters are more lay back so you will probably find them boring if you think this drama boring. If you don't find the pairing cute not sure why you're watching this drama then since the drama is about the both of them being romantically involved, although xukai was the one who sold the cp for me.

Yes i heard he got injured from falling from his horse while shooting for cl, even though he didn't have much screentimes he made the most of it and i really love his character there, he did get more screentimes towards the later half just cl has so many characters so he has to share screentimes with them when he was suppose to be the main lead, i think that's the reason why cl didn't do as well as it could've since the main leads were apart more than they were together. If you only watch for romance, it would not be as appealing to those viewers, i didn't watch it only for romance but also for the plot and characters so i was able to watch it to the end and i'm really glad i watched it as xukai was able to showcase his excellent acting in this drama from playboy to becoming a talented and bad ass general ^^

Xukai has a new drama about to film but mdl still not update his profile to include his new drama.

I don't think that's the reason for why he's taking shorter dramas rather it means he finally has the final say on what projects he want to be in if he is focusing on developing his acting career, shorter dramas will give him more chance to explore his character and plot and will focus mainly on him insteads of other characters that are not relevant. He also get to work along side senior actors whom he wants to work with.

I like cl but in that drama he has very little screentimes compare to all other characters. In short drama he will has a chance to shine with the plot focus mainly on him, but it also requires good acting, this will be a test for xukai to showcase his acting and i think he's finally get the chance to decide on what projects he want to be in rather than be limits by his agency.

The only help from yuzheng was at the beginning when he was given a role in story of yangxi palace, he became really popular after that drama exploded and started to have only main roles after that drama. Many of xukai roles from his agency are fl centric, so he doesn't get to shine much, and there is a tendency for the sml to shine more in his dramas. It's through his own talents he got pick and pair with more popular actresses in his later dramas not because of yuzheng. Some of the dramas that he got like once upon a time in lingjian mountain that became really popular was his own pick, i heard yuzheng didn't want to him to take this drama. She and her perfect husband i heard yangmi specifically asked for xukai to be the ml. Ancient love poetry i heard the director picked him because he likes his role in the legend. The same with all his later dramas that are not from his agency, i heard yuzheng used xukai to negotiate to have many of his own artists in xukai's dramas that why his screentimes are lessen. I heard both bailu and xukai have signed with yuzheng again, and xukai has negotiated his contract so he can finally be independent and can do what he wants. For bailu she gotten more help from yuzheng from the start by getting main roles very early on, but she wasn't as lucky as xukai and only gotten notice more after pairing with xukai and other popular actors like allen ren and leo luo. Bailu is still taking her agency's project, while xukai is starting out on his own without any help from yuzheng.

Wu jia yi hasn't gotten a break out role beside her role in ama, it's a competive business, and in term of look or height she's losing out to more attractive actresses in her company that could explain why she hasn't gotten another breakout role. When she gotten a main role, the role wasn't standout enough to get notice like in dance of the sky empire, the producer of that drama really did her and xukai dirty, they were the main leads but their characters were not explore well because they put too much focus on support characters. I hope xukai and wu jia yi can have another drama together and they will have the same chemistry like the one in ama.

I love his sword dance in wol. Xukai has the physique and he can master many weapons so it would be such a waste of his talent if he doesn't do more wuxia type drama. So i'm hoping xukai can pick up a good script with a wuxia genre in a future project.

That's not true about xukai, he doesn't get any help from yuzheng, after he gotten popular from soyp he was used by yuzheng to promote actors/actresses from his agency that why his screentimes were lessen. I like wu jia yi in arsenal military academy pairing with xukai so was really looking forward to their drama together i got so mad that the producer ruin it by putting so much focus on the sml instead of the main leads. Her character was also dumb down and made weaker just to make the sml shine or hurting the ml as a result lots of viewers hated her character. That could've been a good role if her character was allow to shine unlike what they did with the plot. Yuzheng has a bias for bailu i think as she usually get really strong fl roles or get to pair with popular actors unlike other actresses from his agency who only get smaller roles. I'm happy that wjy finally gotten notice from her role in the double, let hope wu jia yi will also find another popular role like the one in ama so she can showoff her talent.

It's a modern drama so you might be right. Bce and abay were shot less than a year i think before the air date. Historical drama tend to take longer time to air than modern drama.

Everyone has different taste, some fans like him in comedy roles but not his serious roles, so it just depend on what kind of drama you like.
