Didn't realize i was spoiling the drama for you. I was commenting on what i think of the females in this drama, and i thought your opinion was bias against the females. Although truth be told writers tend to write the males with more positive qualities compare to females as the fl's friend and ml's female friebd were both portray in a negative light.

I heven't heard any of xukai's three dramas have broadcasting license. I heard another rumor moonlit reunion will be airing in april and fire investigator is coming soon.

Thanks for sharing this interview. Turns out i seen this one already, but totally forgotten about this interview that the two of them did before wonderland of love aired. Xukai fell from his horse but he laughed it off so it must not be a hard fall like the one from court lady because that one caused him lots of pain and forced to stop playing basketball for a while.

I would disagree with you, both lili and her streamer friend are very stable in their emotion. With lili she's an independent woman who knows what she wants, it was the boyfriend who asked to start a relationship with her and then got cold feet when she asked for more commitment from him. She was realistic and realizes he could not give her what she want so she breaks up with him, more women should be like her, she didn't want to be string along and wait for him when she finally ready for a serious relationship. With the streamer friend the guy wasn't a love interest but a guy she met online who has a rivalry with her so why should she be nice to him just because he decides to like her and want to pursue her. For fl, she was supportive of her boyfriend when he has to travel far for his job, but he can't do the same for her when she was busy and pursuing her career. I agree about the ml's female friend she was toxic and has jealousy issue, i also didn't like the third friend of the fl she wasn't a good friend when she inject herself by increasing her chance to be with him when he was in a relationship with her friend. You must be a guy if you're taking the guys side in this drama.

How do you consider what's quality romance. Everyone has different judgement on what is consider as quality romance, but just because you don't like it does not mean it isn't one. The example you given are dramas that has harem meaning a man can have more than one wives, not sure how these dramas are consider better romance than wonderland of love, i think what you mean is in term of taste, you like dramas with tragic romance maybe, those dramas however also got many criticism as well. Everyone has different taste so let leave it at that, this drama also can be tragic for the ml, but it also has a very good ending with how things develop for the ml and fl, and would be consider a good historical drama with a nice romance. Good luck with finding a romance that fits your taste.

I see videos complaning about actors dubbing all the time, i don't understand chinese so it's not a big deal to me whether they can speak mandarin fluently. I just like xukai voice and think he's ready to dub a historical because some actor/actress dub for historical even though their madarin not perfect.

In a vlog xukai was saying moonlit reunion will be coming soon i took it to be earlier than june but i might be wrong. In the same video he was saying fi will be fast but he hasn't dub for it yet, same with his other modern drama 800 m. HE also said he will be shooting for a historical in march this makes me think he will be very busy in the coming months with shooting and dubbing for his two modern dramas. The possibility of him dubbing for mr is gone, it's too late now but i'm hopeful his next historical drama he get to use his voice.

The romance was not cringy or force but if you don't like romance in a historical drama then this drama was not meant for you. I thought the romance was very tasteful and it has a very good storyline both ml and fl are strong people with different priorities. It also has a very good ending.

Some scenes do use fake horses i heard this was for safety reason. I didn't know xukai fell off his horse for this drama, i remember hearing he fell off his horse on court lady and hurt his back but not for this drama.

Just some fans of sokp were making trouble on wol page in mdl when they both were airing complaining about both dramas rating. Some wol fans were saying they couldn't go to wol page because they were redirected to sokp page on tencent so the heat index of wol was sabotage i don't know how true that is though since i didn't watch wol on tencent but on viki.

I think mr will be fine even if it was to compete against another drama. It's a big project so i'm sure tencent will want to air at the right time to attract lots of audiences to this drama. Chinese entertainment has always been about competition but i'm sure platform will try to not compete directly against each other. SoKP was a special case i think the airing date was push back and it was also a reverse harem so it has a large audience before it even air. WoL was a historical drama and it did it very well because of xukai and jingtian chemistry even though it was an original so it didn't have much hype like SoKP but the reception was very good. Xukai became an ambassador of tencent after this drama aired and both xukai and jingtian even won awards for wol.

Bailu have two dramas already aired in this year one already finish airing, another is airing right now. Early this year someone was making a rumor xukai's mr will be in competition with bailu's mm but it didn't happens. What makes you think her other xanxia drama will air also the same year. I don't know about the salted fish with arthur chen but i think both dramas will be different enough that they will have their own audiences. There're so many dramas already out, my concern is why mr is being left out, it's a big budget drama and would hold its own and have its own audience i think. I hope there won't be any black marketing but i do know what you mean many of his dramas has experienced black marketing in the past before they even air, but i hope with fans support it will be able to stand out if it has a big enough audience. There is nothing we can do but hope for the best and hope tencent will air mr at the right time, i think there's no way to predict what audience will response but i just hope there won't be black marketing before drama even air because xukai deserves recognition for his hard work i hope it will air in peace.

In novel ml is much older than fl, but in drama i think he's just one year older so i think it should only apply to novel ml not drama ml, and irl they're only 5 years different so it's not a big age gap. That tag should be taken down you're right.

It was aired in 2019, and it's 2025 now i don't think there will be a season 2, but if there is i will be on board as it's one of my favorite dramas of xukai.

I got too excited thinking there might be a chance it will air much earlier than expected. In a bday vlog xukai said moonlit reunion will be coming soon so who knows what the schedule is but i hope what he said is true. I also heard rumor moonlit reunion will be promoted soon and xukai and tian xi wei will have a magazine shoot to promote the drama since it's a high production tencent will pull out all the stop to promote this drama and we will get a new trailer. If this is true, i'm really hype about it since i feel it's been put on the back burner for too long.

Tian xi wei is also a cat person, she is similar to xukai. Look forward to their chemistry ^^

I heard a rumor from youtube this drama will air in march and it will be air on netflix. Is this true because i will be estatic if it's, more people will be able to watch this drama internationally not just in china ^^
