Finally we're getting a release date. Is this drama will be xukai first release drama for the year 2025. We were spoil in 2024, now we have to wait for his new dramas to air, i hope there won't be any delay in the air date.

I was looking forward to watch those dramas thinking they will be sequel of alp, but after finding out they're made to be standalones i don't have the same interest anymore. Too bad i was looking forward to see the main leads of alp cameos like what they did with tmpb to tie them all together, but it doesn't seem to be the case for this series.

Just a bunch of haters who are jealous this drama has better rating than their fave drama(s). You will not find other xanxia dramas with this same hate and their ratings still stay the same only this one gotten single out for some really stupid reasons.

Congrats xukai on the wrap up. Hope we will be able to see it and any of his dramas this year ^^

I hope his next drama will be a xanxia or wuxia. I really love xukai action scene and think it would be a shame he is not taking more of these type of dramas so we can see his athleticism, or a modern drama about sport that would be nice to see. His only sport drama was falling into your smile and it's about playing game, i hope he will do a drama that focus on a sport that will give him a chance to show his athleticism.

Why do you said that, she was always lowly and being disrespected by her clan members. Once she gotten a taste of power, she realizes she wanted more and became jealous of the female lead position being born into the position while she was born lowly. She was afraid the leader of her clan will return and take her place and she will lose her position, so she has them killed and want to kill their child to protect her position. Once she became empress a position envy by many, she is afraid the fl will return and punish her if her past action is expose. Every action she has done was to cover her track so she won't lose her coveted position. It's not stupid, it's her greed for power that turn her into a devil and once she became a devil it's a point of no return she decides she is stronger than the true gods and want to become the absolute power if she could kill all the true gods. That kind of ambition is not stupid at all, much better than turning evil because of a guy.

Why not many villains has the same motivation wanting power to rule over all being that's not a small motivation either, it's usually reserve for male villains, many female villains were almost written with the same trope because of failing to get the love of the mls or some other male characters, so finally a female villain i can get behind who interest is power rather than because of a guy.

Everything will be explains if you keep watching. Towards the end we will get her pov since her character role was expanded from the novel given her a bigger role to play in the drama vs. novel from my understanding.

Other historical dramas air one after another, but this drama still no info on it, about whether it pass review or has any announcement or promotion. Why is it so quiet, can anyone tell me if this is an S/S+ production. Usually they would at least announce when it pass 1M reservation, but it already passed and still no announcement or anything to hype it. Why is tencent sleeping on this drama?

I also think it's weird that the director is complaining their big eyes. I think it would be an assess and not a negative.

I have to disagree, the epilogue made perfect sense. Both of them left to the border as lini has always wanted not to be a part of the royal family and to have his family free from all the constant fighting for power. He transfer all the power to his cousin once he came of age since he is the rightful heir. He and cuilin can still have some influence as military commanders if there ever a need for the both of them to fight against enemies of the kingdom as he has been doing in the beginning, but he doesn't want anything to do with the throne.

This is all subjective so just watch what you like. This is all come down to luck and the right pairing and project. Audience have their own preferences, china has so many dramas that come out that it's hard to keep up. Some really good dramas stay under the radar even though they're good while some that gotten popular because of the casts and the right timing even though they're just average. Wonderland of love is a good drama and xukai and jing tian pairing are perfect, but chinese audience don't like this pairing because of the age difference for some reason many of his projects have the same problem and this is due the audience not accepting the pairing and hating on the actresses because of agism or just hating on the actress for some stupid reason without giving them a chance. Last year his pairing with seven tan got really popular i think it has to do with the both of them being compatible due to their baby face even though she's older than him.

I also hope this year he will have another breakthrough in a costume drama, i can't wait to see his pairing with tian xiwei.

Don't know if you still want my answer. The sml died in the second to last ep i don't remember. You're right he's a psycho and think he could get together with fl only if ml died so he has fl kidnapped and used her to get ml killed, only he died saving the fl in a tragic turn of event. No fl is not dumb but at first she see him as a brother until he tried to kill their father then she stop caring about him and has nothing to do with him. There wasn't a love triangle, it's just the sml obsession with the fl since fl made it clear to him once she found out he has feeling for her that she only loves ml.
