I didn't read the novel only watching the drama and the drama seem to play it down to make her action more acceptable. In the drama she didn't want to sign with his cousin because she afraid her compaby will be taken over by her, so she has an agreement with him that he will not interfere in the operation of her company. When she thought he went behind her back and going to take over her company by merging it with his company that why she sold her company share to his rival hoping to keep it from being taken over. They didn't have a good communication and she distrusted him at this point that why she made the choice she did.

Some people were discussing about his rumor dramas a while back if you scroll down, i don't know if any of them are legit until xukai announce his next project, but you're right many of his projects are mature, so he wants to be taken seriously as an actor. I'm hoping his next drama will be a historical since he already done two modern dramas back to back.

Can you share the link for the promo video. Xukai hasn't attended any public gathering, i wonder if this has to do with his busy schedule or he just chose not to go because he deems it's not important.

Drama was more about family and fl's career, and the main leads do have chemistry, not sure what you mean they're not good together because they're, the strong point of this relationship is how good they were for each other that is what i like about their relationship how the both of them support and care for each other even if their relationship was just in the background it's a relationship that many couples strive for in life.

I first heard it would be 12 eps, so it's going to be 20 eps is that confirm.

I would disagree since there're so many scenes in the later eps that got me emotional and your post give the wrong impression about this show to future watchers, it would be your lost by not completing the drama because i think this drama has one of the best ending and it's totally worth it to watch it to the end.

The rating comes from how many enjoy this drama from watching to the ending and how much we love the main leads chemistry and the whole casts chemistry. I would say drama deserves a higher rating for giving us such a satisfying ending that many highly rated drama failed to deliver.
