You're right he did hire her in that capacity as her boss knowing about her relationship to her boyfriend. But they were strangers then and like what he said to her it's just business and he would use whomever he thinks would be the right candidate. If she didn't want to do it, she can just say no, but she's someone who committedly to her work, so she agree to work for him. He didn't abuse or scapegoat her, it was the boyfriend family who were the one who tried to court favor after finding out about her relationship to ml, and scapegoat her once their position was threatens. He helps her get out of a bad relationship because after that incident she truly saw how incapable her boyfriend was and finally broke up with him. It was through this experience that he started to admire her work ethic and fallen for her. Not every romance has to be a fairy tale, the ml wasn't perfect, he grew up in a bad environment with his parents divorce and his father in jail, and he has to work his way up to support himself unlike the fl who grew up in a loving family. It was through their relationship that the ml finally was able to heal from his bad childhood and adopt fl family as his own.

It was only at the beginning that i thought she dressed badly, but after she left her old company i thought she dressed much better. For the male actors i didn't notice the makeup, but it could just be i'm use to seeing how pale they are. For chinese actors i think it's a beauty standard to have pale skin that why they would use lots of sunscreen to keep from getting tan.

Both dramas have pros and cons, the legend was draggy with bad editing, but i think it has a better budget compare to dance of the sky empire. Dance of the sky is shorter so someone who is not looking for a serious drama will probably like it better. For both dramas i didn't like the love triangle and find it ruin the romance in the second half, also the fl was strong at the beginning but then became weaker just to make the sml standout also a miss and loss many viewers because of that reason.

Thanks, iam nobody also has an animation called the outsider. I watched the animation first but it was too long ago that i didn't remember much of it, so i thought the drama did well as an adaptation even with all the censorship. The main leads were great in their roles, pzc was in great escape with xk and i think it would be nice to see them in a drama together, both of them were so funny in that show ^^

It's ok i like the comedy at the beginning. Xukai was very funny with his role in this drama, i didn't like the second half as much as it became too much melodrama and i didn't like how his character was treated by the fl even though it ended on a happy note.

That is only conjecture, we don't know about it because the fanwar got out of hand that why they're avoiding each other. What made you said that about xk's fans, the fight didn't start out of nowhere, it takes two and bailu fans are not without fault. The fanwar that started on weibo should be left on weibo, but bailu fans actually went on youtube and mdl and being really unpleasant to xk and other actresses he paired with that's my reason for not liking the pairing anymore. They would go on every drama he in to bash xk and the actresses he paired with, and then blamed xk like he was the one responsible for what happened to bailu when both of them gotten backlash after the rumor with his ex. They would blame both xk and yuzheng like a parent to a minor when she was an adult who can't handle some fangirls lol. So I have to ask why is it the fault is xk's fans, don't you think bailu's fans are much lamer for still using yuzheng and xukai to get her pity from international fans even now 🤔

There wasn't any dark mean, it was apparent from their starring roles that bailu was heavily promoted by yuzheng starting from untouchable lovers. She got two roles and her parts even took over the main leads that i remember some viewers were holding a grudge against her for getting so much screentimes in the second half, but that's just how yuzheng operate. He used the main leads in his dramas to promote new and upcoming actors/actresses. I don't know when legend and ama were filmed, but i'm pretty sure xukai was more popular than bailu when it was finally aired. I remember reading about it that lots of viewers discovered xukai from story of yangxi palace and watched the legend because of him. And bailu gotten main roles very early, but her main role doesn't stand out until the legend after she paired with xukai. I think yuzheng knew how to use the opportunity after xukai gotten famous by pairing bailu with xukai, as we all know being talented doesn't mean you will succeed if you don't have the opportunity given to you. It was kind of surprising yuzheng didn't pair xukai with wjy sooner as the pairing gotten really popular after story of yangxi palace, even more popular than kailu pairing. I think that was the reason why the fl for royal feast was changed from bailu to wjy as cnetz was more in love with xukai and wjy pairing than kailu, plus the fan war between both their fans. I think you got it wrong, i saw that clip and it was what he meant because it was packed and he couldn't move. He got criticized for that comment as he said it too loud and it was said while an elder actor was speaking. Xukai got along well with many actors/acresses, the fans might think they have something going on because they shipped them together like with xukai and cheng xiao and xukai and wu jin yan or xukai and jingtian, or xukai and bailu.

Also i just stated my opinion and disagree with you on their chemistry since you were saying they didn't have chemistry as chemistry is subjective. I also advice you if you're struggling to watch a drama then maybe it's just not for you, plenty of dramas have good rating doesn't mean everyone will like it.

It's good that you don't smoke, but it's not illegal if you do smoke, not sure why you're making a big deal out of it. Even if i don't smoke i wouldn't make an assumption that someone think i'm a smoker i thought most would know this. You were talking rating with the other commentor that why i wrote about rating, and i was agreeing with you everyone has different preference, the drama you like might not be something i like and vice versa.

I think xue ying was much younger than 22 when he started out. He was just a young boy when his father died and his mother got taken and he was training to become stronger to rescue his mother. I think there is an age limit when going to an academy, the school will only accept students at a certain age range to develop them, they will not accept just anyone i don't think.

It was a figure of speech. Yes everyone has preferences, some dramas with high rating are enjoy by more people but don't mean they're better than dramas with lower rating.
