I don't think mm is a famous ip i only know of it as the one that comes after ancient love poetry of xk and zdy. The hype comes from fans expectation and iqiyi is good at promoting their dramas i suppose that why you might think it's a popular ip. If there's a competition it will not be with mr but with gof and gof is the more famous of the two i think. For mr it still has not have a license for broadcast, until that happens i think there will be nore hype and promotion of mr. Xk has praise this work and the production behind it being the same as ancient love poetry i trust what he said that this drama will be explosive when it comes out.

A cultivation costume drama, is it like snow eagle lord. I would like to see him in one again if it has a good production team behind it, last time it got lots of criticism over the sfx and not following source material. I haven't watch the legend of shenli, but you got me curious about the ml and now i want to see xukai takes on this role, it will be fun to see xukai takes on a more relax role ^^

You should ask him that question, he knew his mother doesn't approve of qinshi but still going after her after he saw her with another man after breaking up with her, and he also has a fiancee, i also don't see how anyone would think he would be a better match for qin shi than yang hua 😒

She was angry that he kept her in the dark about his intention for her company and also using her company to hide his secret company from his cousin even after they got together, and she has a right to know. She has always want her company to stay independent that why she sign with him over his cousin, so i understood why she would be angry although i do think she overreacted and should've talk it out with him instead of jumping to conclusion. Her anger has nothing to do with him investing in a rival company.

Because of her family, her parents are divorced and her dad has another wife and children of his own. So it's not just wanting him to marry rich but she also wants respectabiliy and qin shi family didn't measure up to her standard i guess.

Yeah it's always better when you watch it the first time as it's exciting to anticipate the plot and what happens next. Once you watched the drama and already knows what going to happens next, it will not be as good as the first time. Although some really good dramas can still be interesting no matter how many times you watched it ^^

This schedule is a better date than the last one. Wow all of a sudden xukai has so many rumor dramas popping up when he still hasn't finish shooting his current one, usually his next project will be announce when he finishes shooting for his current drama, so let wait and see what will be his next project, i'm hopeful he will have better resources than his past projects ^^

I'm glad to hear he has many choices to choose from and hopefully they're better quality than the ones he has in the past. I also would like to see him getting better resources, what you said does makes a lot of sense having a good team will elevate the quality of the drama, but at the end of the day what matters the most is whether it has a good plot and a good director rather than the popularity of the actress, and we would like him to get a good production team if possible, but a drama success doesn't need the most expensive production, even an average production can still make a good drama.

I hope to see him getting a good project with a good director as he deserves instead of being taken advantage of all the time. I think he's moving in the right direction from the projects he's taking i feel he's starting to be more selective in taking on new projects ^^

I didn't know this director was responsible for s&f, however i like s&f so it wasn't a dissapointment for me. I feel the story for s&f are meant for those who truly appreciate its storyline so it's not too popular with mainstream audiences but still got approval from the creator of the s&f games, those who played the games and those who love complicated plots like s&f. Most of the complaints about s&f has to do with fl anyway so whether the fl is popular or not what matter is if her character is likable and get audiences to sympathize with her. Many of xukai's dramas tend to have fls who have lots of haters as a result it effected the reception of the drama even if it's not his fault many of his haters will blame him for its failure so i'm more interested in dramas with good storyline and having a strong and likable fl rather than whether it has a good production or popular fl. However it might just be a fake rumor since i don't think he will be finishing shooting for 800 meters in feb 2025.

I don't think it's true since he's still filming for his modern drama 800 meters and it will not finish filming in feb 2025 so this probably a fake rumor. He has not take another drama when he has not finish filming for his first drama.

The author who wrote the novel won an award for script adaptation for wonderland of love so not many share your opinion.

If you're talking about the ml's brothers and father i would say there're some stupid kings in history, otherwise they wouldn't lose their power and lost their kingdom.
