I was thinking the same thing since this will be xukai first time shooting a drama with only 12 eps. Is the preparation for shooting such a short drama takes longer compare to shooting a longer drama?

I would be totally down for another drama from xk and tsy maybe a wuxia would be nice as it's my favorite genre, but it can also be from other genres ^^

Are you mistaken this drama for another drama. They only met each other as adults. Ml and his family left china at a very early age after his grandmother left his grandfather but before she met fl grandfather, so they never met as children that why he didn't know her when they met until his grandmother mention her.

I thought the same thing at first, however i think it was just her vanity; she didn't like her employee stealing her thunder by outshining her and hanting wasn't just any guy, he was someone she has her heart set on since they were children, she could sense his interest in jixing so trying to keep jixing away from hanting is a way to protecting her interest.

I watched once upon a time in lingjian mountain when it was first aired, it was one of my favorite dramas of xukai that i watched many time at first on youtube but they don't have all the eps, then iqiyi then netflix ^^

Yes congrats to xukai for his character being a fan favorite in urban drama. However the reason for this drama being well received is not only due to xukai but also to seven tan and those of the casts and crews hard work and contribution. You might not know this, but seven tan dramas has always been getting good rating in tv drama category, she might not be as popular to international fans, but to chinese viewers she has a very good reputation as an actress and she can carry rating in tv dramas that why i think you shouldn't be looking down on her as she can rival many fan favorite actresses like yangzi and zhao li ying in term of reputation to carry dramas.

The drama started out with a rating of 6.8 actually and the reason i said it was maliciously rated because some people who didn't watch the drama was already rated future eps with a low score lol. You can discuss these things here as it's your opinion but the comments you share are not about abay as they were meants for other dramas of her. I actually only watched one drama from her beside abay and that's under the power and like her chemistry with allen ren. I didn't watch her other dramas so i can't say how good were the romance between her and other male actors, but for abay i can say she has great chemistry with xukai, there was no ackwardness between them, the amount of praise for their chemistry exceeded any other dramas of xukai so that's not something fans of abay made up. Also not sure how being ackward in romance is something negative, i think many asian viewers find seven tan to be relatable because of her shyness and her look is like a girl next door type, she's not playing a forward woman but someone who is just a regular tech worker who's too focus on work rather than romance that's why her boyfriend broke up with her.

If we're talking about the drama, this is consider a business/romance drama, if you're focus only on the romance then it might be boring for you since it's slow pace as i like the business it's one of the pros of the drama for me. Why did ml like her, he was attracted to her brain first after they worked together on a project together in college. They have lots in common, both are workaholic for one thing, they also share the same interest in ai. What you said about the fiancee, you seems to ignore the part where she left her old company and just started a new company and has devoted lots of her time to building it up, he caught her at a bad time and want to propose to her when she is not on the same page as him, and they were not engaged as she told him to wait until she establish her company on a stable footing. She was hurt when he broke up with her, she wasn't prepare for the breakup, so she went to his apartment looking for a reason he would break up with her, isn't that a normal reaction wanting to find out whether your boyfriend has someone else that why he broke up with you. The break up was a standard break up because they were not on the same page, he's ready to start a family, she is still focusing on building her career. That why the ex could get marry right after he found someone else who wants the same thing as him. She went to her ex wedding because she was invited by her friend, she wants to show she was over him and they have a clean break. Hanting is a gentleman and didn't start making his move until he was sure jixing was finally over her ex to ask her to be his girlfriend. The drama is not a flop just because you don't like it, having good rating doesn't mean everyone has to like it and having bad rating doesn't mean the drama is bad as viewers have different prefences, the drama you like might not be the drama i like. That doesn't mean those viewers are wrong if they think this drama deserves better rating when they think the rating doesn't reflect the quality of the drama. The other poster is welcome to her opinion just as you do, and it's not fair to be blaming the rating on the fl, she's a fine actress even if you don't like her plenty of people who do, and romance is not the only reason to watch a drama, i think there're many other things more important like plots and characters.

Fake account holders are those who don't watch a drama but rated a drama negatively to bring down the rating of a drama for reasons that has nothing to do with the drama, it's not that hard to believe that's what happens here when the drama was maliciously rated down when it just aired. It was suspicious that this drama suddenly dropped in rating in a day when the numbers of rating exceeded the number of viewers. Also what made you think those people were hating on the fl, there was someone a while back who was hating on xukai and calling him gay lol. Those who like this drama thinks this drama deserves better rating, and you're the only one who has been complained about the fl and blamed her for the poor rating so it's only your opinion not many. And let be clear it's ok to hate on the fl no one say that you can't hate on a character you don't like in the drama, but it's not ok if you're hating on the actor/actress for personal reason that why those people are called haters.

Wow you watched so many xukai dramas, i'm the same he's the only actor that i follow and watched most of his dramas and looking forward to his new dramas even though i also watched other dramas of other actors. My first dramas i watched from him was story of yangxi palace, the legend, arsenal military academy and once upon a time in lingjian mountain. After that i became a true fan and never miss a new drama from him ^^

I don't feel it's one sided. They both use each other, they needed to work together to get whatever they could for their own side. Fl is from another faction and has her own army stop looking at her as just a love interest then you will see why he's so fascinate by her, to him she's his equal and they both have a rivalry going on, both admire the others for the qualities they see in the others and always try to one up each other, it's their own way of flirtation ^^

What made you not like the fl? I think everyone can have an opinion but you have to make it clear it's the character you don't like and not the actress as there're many seven tan fans here and they might take it as a personal attack against her. I think the fl has some critics over her behaviors which i thought makes perfect sense but not everyone thought the same and we can discuss why she's that way, it's interesting to me that not many are as critical of the ml for hiding a secret from her which cause them to break up. Too bad that you will not be finishing it since i think this drama has such a bittersweet ending and this cp is one of the best cp i watched in a long time because of their journey and grows really makes me jealous of the love they have for each other. Have a nice day, we can agree to disagree, and no drama is perfect and we don't expect it to be, but one that is imperfect and makes you feel and care for the characters is what makes the drama standout.

I seen handsome sibling it was starred by czy and hyt , it was adapted from a popular novel that has many adapted versions. I also seen a past version that was really old. I heard handsome sibling was adapted closer to the novel, the two twins were separated at birth and grew up in two very different environment. One is crafty and clever, the other has great martial art but kind of naive. I didn't watch the animation, but it does sound like it has a similar storyline. I kind of thinking i would like to see xk and pzc pair in another drama that's like i am nobody, maybe a supernatural modern that's also a comedy. I think both of them have good comedic timing, the same with xk and czy ^^

He just finished shooting for fire investigator. He has two dramas waiting to be air now probably in 2025, and we just heard his next drama will be a suspense drama not sure when it will be shot. We just have to wait until his studio announce it.

How long is the filming going to be. I hope he will be able to take the other rumor dramas for him also.
