From your description of the novel, it sounds similar to many similar plots i seen before. The fl is also really young compare to the ml, that means they will have to change the script to make the fl older to fit with the actress they picked . If xukai was to pick this one they would've to change the script to give him more screentimes. Xukai is too big now to pick fl centric drama anymore unless it's a really outstanding drama with an interesting male lead, i think that will be the only reason for him to pick those kinds of dramas if he like the ml like the one in best choice ever. From his recent picks though i'm excited to see what his choice is next since he has never care about popularity before when picking dramas. I remember he was asked a question who he wants to pair with in an interview, and xukai answer was it doesn't matter as long as he can play the roles he wants to play, so xukai will keep picking interesting roles to play regardless of who his costars are.

I seen xukai in many dramas and i can distinguish the different characters he played in each drama so i would disagree with you. I also have a soft spot for this character how many actor can play such a cheesy character and make him lovable, and not be hated. Only xukai can play this character in my opinion, i also really like how bad ass he became as a general after he took himself more seriously. I didn't like tan jian ci character especially after he kept putting himself between the main leads.

Yeah we just have to wait patiently until he announce his next project. Having many scripts give him many choices, i was just thinking that would be a good drama choice from the synopsis and the actress will be the first time he will be pairing with her, but i'm looking forward to see which project he finally choose. If he will announce it on his birthday it will not be a long wait ^^

I saw a rumor on youtube that his next project will be a historical and the fl will be zhou ye is there any truth to this rumor.

I'm also waiting for news of anyone of xukai dramas :(

Is there a confirmation about this. Someone was saying he will dub in feb. Whether he will dub or not it doesn't stop my excitement for this drama, i was hoping to hear his voice but if not then i hope they will use the same voice from his other historical projects.

I'm also waiting for a drama from xukai. So there's a chance xukai will be dubbing for mr in feb. I hope it's true because i want to hear his voice in the drama.

Thanks for the info, i hope you're right and it won't affect the schedule air date of mr. China is the only country i know that has such law that an actor no matter how small could affect a whole drama causing it to be delay or not even air because of their action.

So it's all just rumor and hasn't been confirm. I hope it's not going to be a long wait. Mr still has not get license to air either.

I also looking forward to a good script for him, not expecting any pairing. We just have to gave faith and trust in xukai to pick a good project that will give us another memorable role ^^
