And for the record, a drama doesn't get the priority to be broadcasted based on who's prettier or who's the top, it gets priority as per the speed of the post production & broadcasting license obtaining date, so these kinda shaming remarks in the 21st century, you should know better to never bring them up even if you see rumors floating around. Not to mention, rumors aren't for believing in the first place.

I'm also hoping & wishing it everyday....morever, more & more dramas dubbed with real voices of actors are coming out & getting recognition, e.g A dream of splendor; the new trailers released for The longest promise, Love like the galaxy & more have all real voices of actors. Besides, Dilraba has excellent line delivery, pointed out by everyone, even the drama teams themselves, I'm sure Gong Jun will prove himself if given the chance too, so I hope LOA makes a wise decision by giving us their real voices.

Those self-assumed rumors out of nowhere seriously are unfathomable, during TLB it was Wu Lei's mom & during TBW it was Allen's wife to blame for their lack of kissing scenes lol. Don't people actually find it awkward to come up with such dramatically false assumptions about actors without verification from themselves though? hahaha. But as for actors not doing intimate scenes after marriage, they deserve respect, kudos to them. I also felt their chemistry was excellent, with no lack or no extra necessity of more skinship with the kind of dynamics they brought to screen (referring to Dilraba's chemistry with both Wu Lei & Allen, two of my most favorite pairings ever).

So when is our dear Anle Zhuan gonna obtain the broadcasting license? :')

Yeah, ofc YAMG is NOT a career centric drama, nor is it supposed to be, its essentially a romance drama with the bits & pieces of life, dreams & career.

I get your point about expectations, I've tried to keep my expectations low but couldn't lol. I have such high expectations after reading the novel & seeing how the cast FITS the characters to a T, that I'm dying for it to give me something explosive :'3
It has its similarities with TLB but deviates from it massively.

I don't like Vengo with Dilraba at all, the reason why I had my fences on watching ELOD xD
ZBB's chemistry with Dilraba was FIRE though!!! He could be the menacing version of Chang Yi, but well, I think, Allen owned Chang Yi's both version so excellently, can't put anyone else in that character :')

He was never reduced to someone who needed Yunhe's protection but both of them protected each other with their life at stakes at all times. And I don't see why you cannot see an FL protecting an ML & him accepting her protection without trying to force on a toxic masculinity but I can always see everyone accepting with pleasure when its the other way around, that is, ML protecting FL.

As for the parts where you felt he needed Yunhe's protection, he surrendered only because he was tied down by his love for her, if he attempted to escape or fight back, it was inevitable that he could manage to incur a massive damage to Flower Valley & escape on his own.

Thank you for pointing out all these. Tbh I avoided MDL like plague seeing how everyone had been shipping LHQ with Yunhe overlooking their huge incompatibility as a romantic pairing, and giving no justice to the pure, innocent, sincere Jiaoren's existence, impact & essence in the scarred, tortured & dark life of Yunhe. Chang Yi is the embodiment of everything she seeks & yearns for. That is the essence of their relationship. To the core they are the most similar in their heart, both are souls struggling & striving & appreciating freedom & never surrendering to fated cruelty or control. LHQ may be similar in scheming & manipulating & having the same trajectory of thinking to Yunhe but his heart is not in line with this essence of freedom & conviction like Yunhe & Chang Yi.

Who would've thought they'd shower us with the posters of this exquisite couple! I also loved how both of their expressions, demeanor & bearing are exactly out of the novel!
For example, Anle's mischief, boldness & arrogance; Han Ye's composure, restrained attraction, attentiveness portrayed all too marvelously, can't wait to meet them!

Although YAMG wasn't visuals carrying the plot, there were life struggles & dreams & career explorations, but yeah I get why few or many would label it as such directly without exploring much since its a modern romance genre but LOA shouldn't be a visual carrying the plot even more so just because the cast is a visual explosion (based on the novel it is adapted from). Its got super rich content with political intrigue, power struggle & mystery, apart from the badass & intelligent characters with depth & layers plus intense love story. So hoping they adapt it giving it a justice even if they change things.

I read snippets & really looking forward to his portrayal of Han Ye!
