I'm on season 2 episode 2 and I'm a bit confused as to why it's such a big deal that the prosecution closed the case of the drowning. Although the couple cut the line, they could be fined for negligence or whatever but I don't see how they can actually make a strong case here that this is the reason the boys drowned. Can anyone explain please or will it start making more sense later?
It's been a long time since I've seen such a bad main couple. Are we supposed to root for the ML? He's so selfish…
My thoughts exactly. The SFL might be not a good person but the ML doesn't know that, so there's no justification at all for him to cheat on her (shouldn't cheat either way). Why not just breakup or if you can't then atleast keep your distance from the FL until you can. The FL is also such a pathetic character also, I despise such weak characters.
This had so much potential but it keeps getting messier. I'm only hanging on cuz of Rowoon. I'm so confused, does he love her because of the past life or because of the spell? Do the spells actually work ? If not, then why did ML's attraction towards FL only start after the spell and not earlier? The symptoms of sickness also seem to have subsided after the 2nd spell? And the gardener guy is also doing black magic so the spells must work? It's full of plotholes and they are just dragging it with unnecessary boring things. I'm tempted to drop it if the next couple of episodes don't give us anything concrete.
Why do you dislike the ending......I think people forgot how yijin had sacrifice his love or his work because…
I understand your perspective but their friendship was not an ordinary one. Kind of like platonic soulmates/twin flames before they got romantically involved. I understand romance can make things murky but I don’t think they need to wait till they are 40 even then that wasn’t shown either. They could have taken time apart to resolve some of those romantic feelings but by a few years they could have easily rekindled their friendship because they decided it won’t work out for them romantically. It just doesn’t make sense to me that they became complete strangers especially since they had a mutual friendship group and YiJin worked with HeeDo’s mom even though he was in New York for a long time. To be honest it would have been easier for them to stay friends without manifesting into another relationship since they weren’t physically in the same country. The only reason I’m saying this is they showed us a very unique and rare relationship between them two one that you don’t see often so for me it’s hard to grasp it can totally diminish like that.
I didn’t get the purpose of that scene either - just stupid and unnecessary. I’m also thinking maybe what…
That scene was so random and unnecessary, why did we even need to have that closure with min woo no one cares about that. They left out stuff people cared about and put these random things. I’m mad because this drama was so close to being a perfect romcom
The ending of the series wasn´t just flat or boring, but also unsettling. The rooibos tea scene with the FL and…
I didn’t get the purpose of that scene either - just stupid and unnecessary. I’m also thinking maybe what Hari said got lost in translation with the subtitles. Otherwise why would directors have her say that they can be friends when all her feelings are gone like wtf! I almost feel like the last couple episodes especially last episode was directed/written by someone else entirely!

I think my main issue was that after they broke up they became strangers which seemed odd. They parted in mutual terms, they had such a great bond/friendship which I don’t think could end just from their romantic relationship ending. That bothered me more. A lot of people stay best of friends after a break up or divorce so why couldn’t they - they didn’t seem to have any resentment when they parted ways.
No doubt about that - I did say some of my favourite dramas so yea Vincenzo I loved but since the leads had such amazing chemistry I probably wanted to see a bit more in the end maybe a scene where they are chilling in his island 🤷🏽♀️ But again the romance bit was a side plot in the drama
Most of my favourite kdramas had flat endings I just don’t get why they do this! SPOILERS of other dramas ahead: . . . ABP - for the kind of romcom it was they could have added so many other things in the last episode - they even had the webtoon to reference from - why not show more of gramps and Hari interaction I think we needed a bit more of that. Honestly with that ending I do wish they did 16 eps, there were other things in the webtoon that could have been included like secretary cha getting into the accident and having a replacement, Tae Mu’s friend/colleague coming from New York, they could have easily shown more of the 2nd couples story arc, even more of mr Gye and the team leaders story I would have even liked that for some comedy, they could have dragged out the conflict with minwoo and yoora - there’s just so much more. I feel like they had a low budget never thought this drama would get so much attention and decided to do 12 episodes. . . . . . . Vincenzo - yea it wasn’t necessarily a romance but still the ending was left more to be desired
CLOY - better than the ending they initially was gonna make but still I wished there was a bit more.
2521 - ugh that ending like seriously it didn’t make sense to me at all - break them up fine but not keep in touch at all for the kind of relationship they had - not fine!
YOU GUYSyes the ending felt flat, BUT don’t forget they are yet to release the special ep
Will there actually be a special episode, I’ve been seeing comments on it. I really hope if they do make it, they Atleast have some cute scenes of them married with kids lol but I highly doubt it
Ep 12 was a bit underwhelming for me I think atleast one more episode would have wrapped it up well. I would have liked to see more interaction between gramps and Hari that was my favourite part of the ep. Would have been good if the tension between YoungSeo and her dad was shown a bit more even from an earlier episode. With the LDR if we had atleast one more ep, they could have shown a bit more around it because I just didn’t see the point of it otherwise. Although I would have liked a wedding, I think I was also okay without it. I liked that YoungSeo resigned and started her own business rather than going with the webtoon version of her dad accepting Sunghoon - she needed to do something herself I think i liked that. Would have really liked to have seen Gramps come to the chicken shop. Also loved the cliche reference in the English interview TaeaMu did 😂 overall great drama but ending slightly rushed - I feel a lot of kdramas tend to have underwhelming endings even ones with more episodes.
